The first time I've visited since reopening, I ate in the outdoor heated area with a friend. The heaters were great and it felt warm and cosy. Food and service were good, will definitely return and hopefully sit in the bar with a real fire

Lovely food, nice beer, but poor service - waited 40 mins for main course, and no explanation or apology until we chased where our food was. An offer of a free drink or something would have been nice considering, but staff just seemed a bit indifferent.

Ex . service today 9 dec . Great to see the progress of the pub , in these troubled times . More of an extensive menu most welcomed . Pay a visit when enjoying the peace of east Stratton . Will sample the food next visit , thank you

We stopped by on a quiet Friday afternoon and we're greater by friendly staff, cold beer and great food! They have off street parking and there is a fantastic outside area across the road.

Family friendly, dogs and children welcome. Large dining rooms and lovely bar area with open fires. Good food and good prices. Parking around the back or along the road. Huge garden area thats used for village fete etc in summer when it becomes real hub and party place. Beer festival is great fun too!

Lovely pub, children and most adults enjoyed the food. My sandwich was on wholemeal bread which looked like it came from a sliced loaf and wasn't that great, hence the 4star and not 5 star. Dogs welcome :-)

We were lucky enough to be invited to play at a wedding on the green opposite the pub on Saturday evening, a great, friendly pub, and they had Cheriton brewery Flower Pots on draught! Highly recommended.

We were very disappointed with this place. A group of nine people some of who were staying in their rooms did not feel we were welcome despite the many hundreds of pounds we were spending. One member of staff tried to be friendly. Some food was good, some poor and breakfast bad. Such a shame as this could be a very good place.

Lovely country pub, two young ladies manning the bar were exceptionally polite only down side is we fancied a bowl of chips after cycling there but no food available, but would not hesitate to ho back for a drink

Nice to see this place open again. Slightly restricted menu of well cooked and delicious pizzas & ciabattas. New owners have ambitious plans to create holiday lets and a small gym with pool. In the meantime they are also looking to double the bar space with a glazed area to the rear of the bar. A more extensive menu is planned for October, covid conditions allowing. We wish them all the best and will be back for more soon.

Great to see the Northbrook Arms Pub open again. We have had two great meals here since lockdown finished and are working our way through the wider menu which is now available. The fish & chips; lamb burger; and beef burger, which so many pubs get wrong, were all excellent. The team are doing a great job, friendly welcome and excellent attentive service. Looking forward to our next visit.

Can't understand this place? It has a huge, bright, made for purpose restaurant/dining room...that lay empty today...whilst EVERY table in the bar area is given over to diners? 6 of us arrived in 2 cars (having driven almost 35 miles for a beer) only to find there was no seating? 3 of our party were in their late 70's and need to be seated. Could be a fantastic destination, but not aimed at the lowly drinker...who, unfortunately, is becoming increasingly 'persona non grata'.

Lovely little pub for a weekend getaway...comfortable rooms in character with the pub and an excellent breakfast...food very good but were crammed into very busy corner due large party booked..making eating our meal very uncomfortable. ..lovely couple running the pub and very apologetic....but a little more thought to customers next time....but would still return
