Popped in for a afternoon bite to eat with my mother in law. Disappointed with the food, dying roses and just felt in was in need of refreshing. Furniture tired and decor in need of refreshing. Front if house could be more professional.

Good food. Very busy. Booked for Sunday lunch and earliest time was 4.30! Very noisy but great to see lots of families of all ages dining.

Attended for a private function and the food was fantastic. Our waitress Toni was brilliant and really helpful for the entire meal.

We stopped off for an early meal and ate on the lawn. The food was nice enough, a little overpriced for the portion sizes I thought. It was nothing special, but good quality pub favourites with a few twists. Good selection of drinks and very nice location and atmosphere. They have a vegan and vegetarian menu, it's a bit limited but everyone should be able to find something to eat.

Too many tables and not enough chairs but great Guinness, fantastic staff, excellent for a quick drink or stay a while and eat..!

We had our daughters wedding here and were so pleased with it on the day. The food was outstanding, the staff were amazing and the venue is beautiful. Only criticism would be the ensuites in the rooms are very grubby and need updating.

We have just taken my 86 year old Mother for Sunday lunch and I have to say the meal was disgusting, we were served burnt rock hard supposedly yorkshire puddings that looked and tasted more like yorkshire cricket balls, the cutlery was so blunt my wife gave up trying to cut her lamb.
My Mother unfortunately would not allow us to 'make a fuss' but I assure you we will never return.

Considering the covid situation and to encourage customers...why not provide sun canopies, especially in the heat today. Nice cold cider though. 4

This review is based solely on a number of visits with a cycling group for coffee. Always very welcoming and they make up big cafetieres for us. Maybe could have more cakes available!

Four of us had a Sunday lunch there, service was good. We had fun with the sharing desert

We went for my grans 99th birthday there was 30 of us and basically I was not atall impressed my starter of ham and chicken terrine was dry and tasteless followed by lamb shank the lamb was good but served with a tiny amount of mash and anaemic roast parsnip and carrot no green veg atall! Still hungry afterwards and I wasn't alone!! Won't be going back!!

Super atmosphere and friendly service. Very good food.
