The food was good the service was not so great. The kitchen was on point for the most part and didn't take an extremely long time. However our server was slow and didn't keep up with drinks. She did not check in on us very much and we had to wait about 10 minutes for her before we could even ask for the check. If the service was better it would have been 5 starts!

An unexpected gem in Tallahassee. The first time we had pulled pork wontons, crab rangoon, mac daddy burger with carmelized granny smith apples, and spicy shrimp wrap with hush puppies and cilantro jalapeno cole slaw. All absolutely delicious. On our next visit, we had spicy sombero with garden salad with raspberry honey mustard dressing, BLT with onion rings followed by a banana split. Equally delicious. Can't wait to stop by again to try something else on the menu.

Food was great but my wife ordered a Kalamazoo stout and they were out so she ordered a lazy magnolia southern pecan and the server or bartender took a pecan bottle and filled it with what tasted like bud light or busch light... if you get a beer maybe make them open it in front of you... although someone that would do something like that would also try and recap a bottle too i guess...

One of the best burger places in town and their menu is extensive enough to have something for everyone even if you're not a burger fan. Don't be afraid to try one of their unique menu items you'll only find at the Caboose.

I eat here quite often, they have some interesting burgers and wraps but the one thing I always come back for it their version of the monte Cristo. Called the Count of Monkey Cristo, in keeping with their ties to another restaurant owned by the same people (Monk Brothers, on Tharpe across from Godby). Really good food, nice atmosphere, and I am a fan of the outdoor patio on the back by the bar. Not many people realize but they actually have a second parking lot behind the building across from the police station.

My boyfriend and I visited for lunch on a Sunday. We sat outside where they have a full bar. Small crowd which meant fast service. The waitress was great and the food was even better. I ordered the Liberty Bell (philly cheese steak on a burger) with sweet potato fries. The burgers are huge and the serving of fries was big. Everything tasted great and the prices were fair. They have a stamp-card that you can get and after 9 burgers, you get your 10th free. I highly recommend this place for unique burgers and quick eating. Will be back.

The greeter and our waitress were very helpful in suggesting options for my spouse's many food sensitivities. That day's special was Oh Canada! We substituted a gluten-free kaiser roll for the bun, and replaced the burger with grilled chicken. The maple syrup went with the chicken very well! The ranch dressing was buttermilk based rather than soy, so she got the carrots and celery with ranch for her side. It was so delicious that we decided it was time to get our passports renewed so we could visit Canada again. Midtown Caboose serves some of the tastiest food in town!

I came here for the first time as.a treat from my boyfriend. He talked a lot about how great the food was. He was absolutely spot on! The atmosphere was fantastic and my burger was the best I have ever had. I will no doubt come here again and again . They have won me over.

Had lunch here with my family and an old friend. Great service, great atmosphere, great food. The burger was one of the best burgers I ever had. Plus instead of fries, one of the options was green beans, which were wonderful.

The wait staff and kitchen are aces! The food is great!

I am allergic to peppers but the kitchen made me some pulled pork wontons without them because they are beautiful and lovely people. Our waitress was funny and understanding.

Nova and staff, you are great!

One of the best veggie burgers in town. Nice patio seating area, though it can get very hot and sunny later in the day. Fresh toppings, deliciously toasted sourdough bread, excellent spicy veggie chili. Cold beer on draft including Yuengling. Friendly service. Disappointed by the recent price increases.

I. Love. This. Place.

I. Love. This. Place.

This is truly one of Tallahassee's most iconic and crucial restaurants.

All of their food is out of this world.
Their servers are always well informed on the specials and menu.

They seem to always be busy, but you never wait too long for food.

I moved away from Tallahassee in 2015, and I still come back and visit this place frequently.

The mother of dragons burger is one of my favorites.

I love the owner, Monk. He and his brother have successfully run restaurants in this town as long as I can remember.

Thank you for always providing a next level dining experience!

Okay, so as far as the food goes; I cannot say anything against it.
However, as far as my drink and management communication, I will never return. This was my first time here and I ordered the grandfather milkshake or whatever. Literally 2 minutes after it was dropped at my table it was liquid. When I asked to speak to the manager about it he told me that t comes that way because they put more liquor than ice cream. I told him cool but 4 minutes into it being at my table now at this point it should not be milk at all, it should still be a bit chunky.
Such a shame.

Went there for food - my friend wanted pepper shrimp but there happened to have been a party that night later in the evening. I had the Escovitch fish which was awesome and the mild wings ( wings definitely hit the spot). The fish was really good also. The bartenders are sweet and make some good drinks. Definitely a nice low key vibe. My friend Said the pepper shrimp was HOT but she definitely enjoyed it.

Was literally ignored for 25 minutes after being seated with my family and 11 month old. Other people who came in after us were served their drinks and had their order taken. Absolutely terrible customer service and I would not recommend it.
