Best food I ve had at a restaurant in a long time....

Best food I ve had at a restaurant in a long time. I had the liberty bell (philly on a burger) and my mom had the BLT (bacon lettuce and fried green tomato. Portions were very large and good reheated at home. We were with a group of 8 and the service was just poor. I know a large group takes longer, but we waited on the drinks, we waited on the server, we waited to order, we waited on the food. A dinner out that should have been an hour tops was close to 2 hours. I loved my burger.

This was a very unique restaurant. The decor was adorable. I loved all the different menu items they had. The macaroni was good. The chili was nice and spicy. They had something for everyone's taste, even vegetarian and gluten-free. The hostess was nice, My server (Kalecia) was fabulous. She checked on us an adequate amount of times. Our food came out in a timely manner and everything was fresh! Thank you Joaquin. The atmosphere was relaxing and fun. The booth was comfortable. I could not have asked for anything to be better. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying some of the other items that I found tempting on the menu.

I phoned in an order for a classic burger amd a Rudy sandwich for pick up. As promised the order was ready when I arrived. I could have called from the parking lot and the order would have been brought to me, but I chose to don my mask and go in to pick up my order. There was outside dining in the back and no customers in front where I picked up the order. All was COVID compliant with hand sanitizer on the counter and face masks worn by employees. Social distancing was in place too. The food was in styrofoam serving trays keeping everything delicious and hot.

Our "go-to" place for burgers. My wife loves the "Betsy" & the "Monkey Cristo". I'm all over the menu from the "Mother o' Dragons" to the "Maui Wowee" to the "Sushi Chef". I've also become a fan of the "Cuban Cigar", a pretty good, if not authentic Cuban, sandwich.

Sat through the menu for 20 minutes with fiancee just to figure out what we wanted to eat. Well worth it.
I Ordered shepherd's pie with chicken instead of beef.
She ordered the Rudy. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hooked up extra gravy to take home. Very prompt and attentive. Service was FAST. Food was amazing. Prices are good and food was amazing (again).

The selling point for this place is that they have many options (which can take a while to figure out) and you can substitute anything for anything and mix it all up. Decor is cool, but the lighting is a little intense. Other than that it was a great experience. =) Dope spot. Suggest this place to anyone.

The Caboose is serving it up really well in the sides department too: apples, side salads, carrot/celery stick, sweet potato fries, tater tots, hush puppies, potatoes and gravy, Mac, and the list goes on & on. The salads are enormous and super fresh. I love the Odyssey and Mimi. It's a little pricey once you add protein and would be nice if there was a small or large option for salad.

Run by the same people who run Monk's and the food is about the same but in a much classier atmosphere. If you don't see any parking up front, go down 7th just a bit and there is a parking lot around back with plenty of parking.

Hands down the best burger in Tallahassee! Funky, delicious, and exciting twists on your traditional burger. I almost always get the PB&J burger, it has peanut butter, grape jelly, bacon, and cheese on a toasted Kaiser roll! I know it sounds crazy, but if you like the salty / sweet flavor combo, this is the burger for you! The sides are great too, would recommend either the sweet potato fries or the tots. Love eating here.

Best burgers in Tallahassee!

Best burgers in Tallahassee!
The Reagan is my FAVORITE; fried green tomatoes, goat cheese, and balsamic are the best toppings for a burger!

We ate outside on the porch. I had the chicken not sure what the exact name is. The food was great. Sweet potato fries are good. They have any type of burger you could want. I'm sure they could build a burger the way you want if you dont want one they have on menu. We will definitely be back to eat again.

Midtown caboose is always awesome! Had the s'mores burger the last time I was there and I have to admit it was actually delicious even though it does sound odd/gimmicky at first. Going to miss this place after I graduate!

I was reluctant because I haven't liked the previous restaurants that have filled this spot, but the burgers were AMAZING! We split The Sundance Kid, and it was more than enough food for two hungry people. They also have a great beer selection that seems to change pretty regularly. It was a busy night, but the food came pretty quickly, and the server was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend it if you like good burgers!

P.s. the PB&J with the veggie garden burger its out of this world. And im not vegan.

This place is fine if you re looking for a mediocre burger, less than awesome fries, and off leash dogs that bother you on the patio.
I m all for dog friendly patios (I have a dog and love them very much). But when I go to a restaurant that allows dogs on the patio, I expect not to be bothered by someone else s dog. It s not an off leash dog park, it s a dog friendly patio.
Also, if you ask the owner to please grab their off leash dog, you can expect to be yelled at by said person while the restaurant staff does absolutely nothing about the situation.
Needless to say, I won t be coming back to this place again.

So good I wanted to slap my mama. Seriously, this place is good enough that I don't mind visiting Tallahassee, no offense, just not much to see here. I do feel fat now but gosh darn it, it was good.
