The Midtown Caboose Review

I have never had a bad meal ever at the Caboose and have been coming here regularly for years. The staff is young but very professional. Beer selection does not disappoint. Accommodating to families.

Great food and excellent service. Orders served quickly and waiters/waitresses are very polite. Very recommended.

Good selection of beer and some great burgers and sandwiches. This will be a go-to place for me to bring friends who are new to Tallahassee. Great food without the hefty tab!

My family took me here for my Birthday and it was one of the worst food experience I ever had. My son was served a raw john dillinger sandwich, my jennifer sandwich was unpleasant. My son sent his food back and we just received excuse after excuse all for 80.00 dollars I will speak to the owner so no one else will have this experience.

Great burgers, and sides. My only minor dissappointment was the avocado in the Cobb salad was not edible. It was not ripe enough to eat. Everything else was delicious.

Service is excellent and the food never disappoints. Too bad I feel like a bloated whale carcass when I eat here because of my lack of self control.

Great burgers! Everything on the menu looked great. I was hesitant to get my burger because it had so much on it, but everything was perfectly proportioned. The burger was delicious and cooked exactly how I requested. I don't live in Tallehaasse, but will definitely stop by next time I pass through.

Great local place to eat! Inside is full of train decor, great servers, & yummy food - burgers, sandwiches, salads, wraps, & exceptional chilli! The back patio is a nice shaded, open area to enjoy a meal with a good book or great company!

Saw the parking lot was full, that's always a good sign! I was right!! The burgers were absolutely awesome!!!! This was our first time but not our last!!!!!

This is the place to go in Midtown! All the locals raved about this restaurant, so I went. Was seated quickly & had a very attentive waitress. They're known for having spicy & eclectic foods, but can make normal dishes as well. Their menu features appetizers, soups & salads, wraps, sandwiches & burgers. All the food I've gotten from there was made correctly, and the portions are rather large! I loved it so much, I took my mom a couple of days ago & she loved it too. Would highly recommend!

Great place to eat fantastic burgers, if you like tuna you gotta try the sushi chef burger.

Amazing service. Great food, the wings were awesome. Had a lot of unique choices and we'll definitely be back. Our waiter was very attentive and nice.

Lots of options of great food. Only issue is that you have to read every item to determine what you want because the item names arent obvious. Can get pricey, but still great food.

Food was delicious, service was good, I had the vegtiballs sandwich with a side of rice and beans. I also tried the sweet potato fries. I will definitely be back to try the other vegetarian options.

The PB&J is awsome, the waitress was super friendly and helpful, the only thing is if you have a big vehicle parking is a little tricky but well worth the visit.

Went here on a whim while visiting from out of town and we're very impressed. Service was good, atmosphere was good - trendy but low key - and the food was absolutely delicious. I'm told that the burgers are the item to have, but we had the Cuban and the Ella salad, and both were extremely good. Portion sizes are also good - you get a reasonable amount of very good food for quite a reasonable price. 5/5, if or when we're back in Tallahassee we'll definitely be back

Awesome place with an extensive menu! The PB&J burger is really worth a shot!

Visiting in town for work, it was suggested we try this burger place for the "Mac Daddy" it was awesome as was the "Liberty Bell" a Philly cheese steak on a cheeseburger with garlic fries. To say it was Great is not enough. It was the best cheeseburger I have ever had in my travels!!

Patrick was most helpful in helping find food that my wife can eat! And it was all delicious! We'll be back!!

Good food, good service, would be five stars but it was less than well kept in terms of cleanliness (nowhere near bad enough to be worried about the food or anything though) and the parking is extremely limited.

Fantastic and creative sandwiches. Be sure to try them as chicken sandwiches or veggie burgers; you don't have have a beef patty. Mother of Dragons is my favorite, though I tend to regret it the next day.

Good, local place to get burgers/salads! Very casual. They keep a pretty good beer list and always have interesting specials. The portions are large, and it is reasonably priced. Happy hour deals are great--$1 off all alcohol, including milkshakes (I asked!), and $2 off appetizers--seven days a week until 7pm. Parking is limited, but there is additional parking nearby throughout midtown.

Super cozy and local. Their coffee sucked but they WARNED me it sucked and they were right. Awesome.

Barbeque was very greasy and made me sick...green beans need to be cooked longer.

The food here is delicious! I have tried something new every time I visit and I have yet to be disappointed. They have a wide variety of interesting and unique things on the menu. And the customer service is great! They are always smiling. This is going to be one of my go-to spots for sure!

Delicious burgers and fun atmosphere. They have indoor and outdoor seating along with a bar and TV's to keep up with the games. This place is perfect for dinner, dates, and a precursor for a fun night out.

The food is awesome, however slowly the staff is getting worse and worse. They are not able to function when they are moderately busy. I am writting this review as I sit in the place. It's been 21 minutes now, and I haven't even been asked what I would like to drink. I wish self serving was an option sometimes.

The food here is amazing and unique. Hard to find better burgers anywhere in town. Plus, the atmosphere is very fun and relaxed. Service can sometimes be a little slow, but that's only because they are so busy all the time from how popular they are!

Really awesome place with delicious food and drinks. Trivia on Thursdays is super fun - just make sure to get there very early or there's no tables left on the back patio area, or no parking!

They served an amazingly delish vegan (pseudo) meatball and sauce entree! Was amazed at the tenderness of the items, the flavor and by the fact that they featured vegan food!

The burgers are delicious. I've had the classic and one with tuna and both were fantastic. There's also an apple tart desert that is worth it.

The pulled pork wantons are off the charts..the hamburger I ordered medium and when I got it it was very very well done burned in some spots so I couldn't eat it our server we only seen twice we asked for the check,my husband's drink to go and 2 to go boxes she had to make 3 trips to do so needless to say I was not to happy

I'm always pleased by the food and experience here. The sports games were on, and no one gave me hassle for reading my magazine. The food came out in reasonable time, for it being a busy night, and delicious.

I would definitely say it's worth a try. A large selection of unique burgers and sandwiches with large portions. Come hungry and depending on what you get expect to leave a little messy

Had lunch here today Tamara was great had the Mother of Dragon Burger it was awesome a little heat but good for me ,I wanted to try more , I will be back for sure

First visit, but I was underwhelmed with my wrap choice. Very bland and dry Turkey wrap, I should have asked for mayo or some sort of sauce. I also ordered the green beans, but they seasoned with too much cracked black pepper, too spicey for me to eat. My friend ordered a hamburger and she was satisfied with it. But we found the prices too high for sandwiches, wraps and burgers , the average price per item is $11.99. High for a sandwich and one side. I will try to give another chance because i know the owners have a great reputation in Tallahassee, but they would recommend some small plates for seniors or folks that don't want alot to eat. My wrap would be better priced at 9.99 in lieu of 11.99.

Some of the best burgers in town. Try the s'mores burger it may sound gross but it is strangely delicious.

Amazing burgers of all kinds and gluten free options for those who need it. You get plenty of food for the cost and everything I've had is always delicious.

All I can say is WOW!!! Great and interesting burgers! I was skeptical but now I'm a fan. A must visit in Tallahassee.
