I have worked for The Medve group for almost 7 years and I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to join property management. We have a great support system, awesome benefits outside of the standard, competitive pay, and overall high employee moral. 5 Stars all the way!

I lived at one of their properties in Corpus Christi and had a horrible experience at that apartment and dealing with the Medve group in general. Our apartment was very disgusting, they do not keep up the property at all. There are pet feces everywhere, roaches inside and out, and an awful smell throughout the entire apartment community. We had a problem with our ceiling leaking. This should have been a simple fix but it kept raining in our apartment for months. We never knew when this was going to happen and were constantly coming home to huge puddles of water in the floor and water on our bed, dresser and personal belongings. Our ceiling became discolored and started growing mold and literal mushrooms. We were constantly sick from living here. The final straw was when it started raining from the ceiling fan/light fixture which was very dangerous.
We had to move out 2 months early because of the unsafe living conditions at great personal expense to us. The apartment made no attempt to fix our final leak (the one from the fan) and tried to blame the other leaks on the people living above us. They offered no solutions to help us, not even offering us another apartment to move into temporarily (they have many vacant apartments).
We tried to get our last month of rent back since we had to move out 2 months before end of lease. Of course we signed a lease agreement but conditions like these were obviously not our expectation. The apartment manager was not able to help us with this and instead referred us to her supervisor at the Medve group. The supervisor was very unresponsive, we had to call her for an entire month before she returned our calls. When she finally did call me back, she let it slip that this particular apartment had been having these leaking issues for months before we moved in!!! Not only that, but they apparently didn t keep good records of their maintenance calls (we called them every time this happened). The person I spoke to claimed that they only had record of this happening two times. She told me these are just things you have to deal with when you live in an apartment . I ve lived in apartments all over the US and even in other countries and this is by far the worst living situation and the worst company to deal with!!! This whole company is just so dishonest and the supervisor was very rude and did not even try to help us.
Renter beware! If I could give this place 0 stars I would. These apartments have tremendous potential, but are managed incompetently. The maintenance people do not know how to do quality lasting repairs. Have had a/c issue for weeks, they have tried, but too hot to live there. Having to find alternate places to stay due to the heat. It's now August, the problem started in June. The latest issue is that they have double charged the rent, leading to financial hardship while waiting 3 days to correct their mistake. Definitely complaining to the BBB.
I have been at The Medve Group for 20 years and have been surrounded with genuine and caring people. The Property Management Team at The Medve Group is supportive, open and available to all their employees. I have been very happy working for them at their beautiful properties in Lafayette, LA!
I believe it is one of the best places to work, you can always count on your teammates help. If you rent out one or more of their apartments, you are the luckiest people ever! With their exclusive customer service and luxury apartment's you can always have fun!
I have been working for The Medve Group almost 2 years and I have to honestly say it is by far, the BEST company I have ever worked for. This company CARES ABOUT THEIR EMPLOYEES. After many years of working in Banking and feeling like a number, I am so happy to say this place makes me feel like Andree', a valued employee. Our Managers and Owners are always kind and willing to help in any way. ***********
Reading these reviews it's evident and disappointing that people spread lies and negativity when things don't go their way. I have worked for the medve group for many years and can't imagine myself anywhere else. They value and reward hard work and loyalty and I'm so grateful to be a part of this family. I won't try to sell you a bowl of sugar, or pretend that every day is perfect, that is not realistic of any job. Not every job or company will ever be suited to every person. However, if you are a hard worker and driven to be successful, this is a great place to work. If you are honest and dependable, this is a great place to work.
I lived in a complex owned by this company for two years. When I moved in, I paid a $250 pet fee. Apparently, this fee was misappropriated as they want me to pay it again. When I contacted them regarding my final closeout notice, the women I exchanged several emails with admitted that the fault was on the fault of the company, and yet I was still expected to pay the charge for the second time. When she responded that she would not be responding to any further emails, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, which has gone unanswered. This company is appalling.
Edit: my review is not inaccurate. I paid my $250 fee. I have proof that I paid the $250 pet fee. I showed it to the property manager when I was accused of not paying it. I sent it to Libby Ponder when my final closeout statement still showed it. I paid it in the rent payment system that this company uses in August of 2016. I ll send it to anyone else that interested in seeing it. Because of incompetence on the part of the staff the money I paid was not allotted where it should have been. Congratulations on having the Attorney General say that you don t violate a federal law. That still doesn t prove this is a good company to do any business with. In fact, it s F rating with the Better Business Bureau, which I m aware of because I filed a complaint with them that went unanswered, proves that I m not the only person that thinks the business practices of the Medve group are horrifying.
