I have worked for several new home builders in my 20+ years in the industry and McKee is by far the best company I ever worked with! They care about their employees and their customers and are always open to new ideas and feedback in order to continue to be the best they can be.
They are by far the worst company ive ever been living with.i lived in the apartment building and they became money hungry
1.the washer and dryer are programed to use low water(so it doesnt clean well)and the dryer is on low heat(so 2dollars wouldnt even dry my babys clothes)
2.the electric meters are all dusty and broken and my bill tripled.the main office and coorperation gave me the run around and never responded. I never used the air and heat central air.
3.the central heat and air are all ancient so expect if you do use them expect a 200 dollar bill
4.someone pooped on the elevator (adult worthy)
5.the office building management will pretend they arent there if you stop by
6.they will come in your home unannounced
7 they will NOT fix things properly.the maintenance men are lazy

their customer service is terrible. I would think twice about dealing with them. They refused to two occasions to respond to requests that we made at one of their properties and then reportedly changed the rules for using community property in mid-stream, without notice. For this group to refuse to respond to community members is inexcusable, and shows how little they value the community members .
Not a place you would want to work for. I was treated unfairly by this company, After working for only two days, I was told my services were no longer needed. I was suppose to work for 3-6 months and after reading the reviews it appears that I was not the only one treated unfairly by this company. Also, many people have a fear of dogs and I feel that they should not be in the workplace as it is at this company.
I went to 2 job interviews with this company for a Property Manager position at one of their storage facilities. The HR manager (Maureen...can't recall last name) wrote me the next week informing me that they were still in the decision making process and that as soon as they make a decision they will let me know. Four days later I wrote the HR Manager and asked if the position was still available and she didn't respond. A few days after I sent that email I wrote to the Vice President of the company (Kate McKee Black) in regards to the position (she conducted my second interview) and she didn't respond. I wrote to the Vice President and I CC'D the HR Manager on the email informing them on how unprofessional of them to not respond to my email. Right after I sent that email I got an email from the HR Manager informing me that they have decided to not go forward with me as a candidate for the position. How unfair is that?? It wasn't my fault that this company didn't respond to my email. I don't recommend anyone working for this unprofessional company!
