Clean apartment with security doors.Its quite nights and day time as well.And when u call stuff always help u out if u need them.There all kitchen equipment,tv, fridge, air conditioner.Bathroom and shover is in good condition.I can tell good place to stay.

I will not recommend this as a place to stay. When I arrived from out of town for a 2 night stay prepaid . It was soooo noisy - fighting yelling and smashing in in adjacent rooms. People loitering around the entrance door. With doors ajar breaching the security .Furniture askew in corridors. Plus a shared bathroom with strangers in the midst of the Covid 19! Which was not explained to me during a verbal booking. I was promise a refund by the Manager as I couldn t stay there. I m still waiting- no one will return my calls! DON T BOOK A STAY HERE.

I have NEVER been spoken to so poorly, as soon as I arrived another couple where fighting in the common area.
I called management about the Domestic violence that had occurred an continued all night with a new born baby in there room, Management was very rude told me an my friend it was owe problem.
The room had an unbearable smell an I never received my depot back after leaving room the way I found it.

Very smart, new, clean. Tv, kitchenette with microwave, bathroom, wifi. Can't go wrong at the price. It's a fair bit further from town than the places I usually stay, but the bus to town is no harder than in Sydney.

This hotel is located above the pub. Parking can be parked free of charge in front of and around the pub.
There is no reception, and emails sent to smartphones before staying are listed as passwords for 1 entrance, 2 rooms, 3 bathrooms, 4 Wi-Fi, so email is a must check.
The room and the bathroom (toilet + shower) are separated by a corridor. You will need a password number each time.

At first Wi-Fi was difficult to connect a little, but it was usable without problem. It was good to use common washing machine and dryer for free.
Room amenities are bath towels, soap, bath mats, tea and coffee and biscuits, cup milk and soap for laundry. There is also a closet and a hanger, a microwave and a refrigerator.
There were kitchen knives, toasters, dishes and dryers, but there was no frying pan or stove. Shampoo and conditioner were prepared in the bathroom.
There is a gap under the door (on both sides) leading to the next room, and the sound of the TV etc. can be heard round each other.
Both the rooms and the bathroom have just been renovated, and the bedding is also beautiful.
It was a stay with my children, but it was good to spend a good time in a quiet location along a large road.

Great place too stay! Modern, clean with very comfortable beds. Close to local cafes and pub on site. We only stayed overnight although a longer stay is definitely on for next time.

Food left in cupboards, leaking ceiling, dirty towel in closet and dirty sheets. Place stunk of rotten food - made sense when we opened the cupboard.

We had a show booked nearby back in December and booked Mark Studios as it was within walking distance of the venue.

Unfortunately, on the day of the booking, our home came under threat of fire by the Three Mile bushfire and we felt compelled to stay home and protect our property. We spoke to the contact at Mark Studios and explained our situation. He advised that if they could re sell the room, our payment would be refunded.

Now, we don't know if they did or did not re sell the room, and that's the reason for this poor review.

The Lizottes nightclub were fantastic, they replaced our booking with a future show. They didn't HAVE to do that, but they did.

We followed up Mark Studios with a couple of emails and haven't had a reply to either of them.
This lack of communication, at any time, isn't good business practice, and during a time of disaster such as the recent bushfires just seems..... unAustralian.

We'll be back in Newcastle soon for that replacement show, but we're going to give this place a miss.
