Spent a Sunday afternoon with a teen here. Saw the exhibits in 2 hours and then the Great Barrier Reef IMAX film. Very well done and compelling exhibits. Staff were able to answer all our questions. Suitable for all ages.

Visited the maritime aquarium for the first time again in many years with the family. It was very interesting and enjoyable. It was nice to do something local in the area. Parking was very close and not expensive. $2 per hour parking garage. The staff was very polite and welcoming. The building inside and out was very well kept and clean. I thought there would be just children there with their families. But I came across young adults without children and young adults In group of friends such as myself, enjoying them selves. All ages visit. The pieces of educational information on every exhibit was great. It took about 1 1/2 to walk through the entire aquarium comfortably at now rush. Everyone was required to wear a mask and keep their distance of 6 feet. Which worked out well. I have to mention my most favorite part was the jelly fish exhibit (Very relaxing) and sharks. I very much recommend the maritime aquarium if your looking to do something exciting and educational locally. 5 star

I used to go here as a young child and I did not realize how popular it has become. They constantly have rotating exhibits, an IMAX theater, and the location is great for my wife, my infant and me. The year pass is beyond worth it along with bringing an extra adult guest and a few kids.

For imax theater. Saw last jedi, loved the screen. Seating not reserved and not as comfy as the more conventional theaters, plus minimal concessions, but I will still return for episode 9

It is a small aquarium but have turtles, sharks, otters and even tortoise. It is made for young kids and they can enjoy themselves fully. Family washrooms, kids play area and chance to touch the friendly rays. They have a Panda movie included in entry ticket which I really loved. My 2 year had lot of fun and entry was free for him.

Beautiful aquarium. Is on the smaller scale so definitely doable in one day. Try to go early or later in the day for smaller crowds. Don't miss the newest exhibit which features cool animals like a porcupine and a skunk! We particularly love the jellyfish tank, the seals, and the otters. And don't miss the shark tank! You can catch an IMAX movie for an extra fee or even enjoy an educational boat ride. Great day out for the whole family!

We love it here! Very affordable compared to other aquariums. The sharks and jellies have amazing set ups. My son (and myself) we're entirely enamored. There's touch tanks and many interesting creatures you otherwise wouldn't see. Highly recommend.

My favorite aquarium. Excellent collection of jelly fish. Outside play area for kids. The aquarium also has educational cruises during the year. Easy to get to from I95, parking on street or garage. Accessable.

Definitely, a must-visit the Aquarium, I really enjoyed our trip to this Aquarium. The aquarium staffs are very friendly and resourceful, they even go as far as allowing visitors to jiggle a Jellyfish which adds more fun to the experience. There are lots of fishes, sharks, turtles, and other very exciting aqua life animals. Also, this place is family-friendly, so I definitely think you should visit whenever you can. There's a military discount if you show a valid military ID.

Please like this post if you find it resourceful. Thank you

Not worth the price ($25/person) for 30-45 minutes of mediocre exhibits. NOT senior or handicapped friendly (elevators not well located). Exhibits poorly labeled and in some cases inaccurate or outdated. Avoid cafe ($2.25/can of soda) as well. Not impressed.

My wife and I took our 6 year old son for his birthday and had a terrific time. I went as a child my self and have always had a wonderful time. Plenty of things for the kids too and do. They have a pool for the kids to touch the fish and they absolutely loved it. I would recommend to anyone that's looking for an enjoyable day trip to check it out.

My three year old, two year old, and even five month old enjoyed the exhibits! My oldest kept screaming sharks!!! Got some plushies from the gift shop and ate some tasty food. It was a blast! Definitely want to go as a group with my husbands co-workers again! Great for young ones.

My children loved this place !!!! The staff were great ! Lots of marine and land animals to see and touch which was the best thing ! You can touch stingrays and jelly fish . We watched an Imax movie that was awesome as well. Good way to spend the afternoon!

This place was great! However, there was construction going on and frankly it's a little pricey. They should offer more discounts like on Groupon or something. We went on a Sunday and it was totally dead, probably because we paid $100 for 2 adults and 2 kids, and drove an hour to go there. Some of the staff were very nice and some were kinda eh where they really didn't seem like they wanted to be there. Overall a good one time experience with the kids, but probably wouldn't go again unless they had a discount or something.

One of the better aquariums I have been to. It was very well kept and very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Was able to view a large variety of sea creatures from sea turtles to sharks to otters etc. The touch tanks were my favorite and parking is available across the aquarium for a small fee.

Love going here as a kid, still love it as an adult. There is so much to see and learn every time you come by.
The IMAX theater is a phenomenal place and I love the movie events they're holding from time to time. An absolute must go if you're ever in Norwalk!

Great aquarium! I especially like the exhibits because the animals have more than enough room, and whoever makes the exhibits really takes the time to make them look as close as possible to to that particular animal's natural habit.

I loved the animals that were on display. The jellyfish were cool to look at. The seals were also cute. I also liked that they give you a choice on the IMAX movie you can watch. The price of entry is pretty reasonable.

This is an average aquarium with a decent selection of marine life. It was super crowded on the day we went and lots of sections were under construction. The really frustrating part is that the parking garage is not connected- it is around the corner and across the street from the main entrance. This makes things difficult if you have 1 or more children.

Went here on a weekday with the family and did have a good time considering it was my son's first aquarium ever. With that said, its not the largest aquarium in the world and definitely a place you can do in a couple/few hours.
