The Manhattan at Times Square Hotel Reviews

Stayed last summer with my besties. Mold, mildew, towels were used, just a mess. I've been checking the reviews periodically, and nothing has changed in the past year. I think what they do is give you a crummy room, and if you complain, they move you to a better one. There is no excuse for this mold problem to go on as long as it has. It's a dangerous health hazard i'm shocked that the health department hasn't gone in and shut this place down. They refunded my group $100 on a two night stay, but it hardly made up the experience. We would've gone somewhere else, but we stayed the weekend and everything else was booked. I'm a New Yorker who's stayed in dozens of hotels. I was downright afraid in this one.

For the price location was great, but the room was worse than Holiday Inn (motel version not the new Holiday Inn style) The room was not dirty but had a slight dirtiness to it. I am use to 4 or 5 star. But the staff was 2nd to none. There were crumbs under the table in the lobby. The clean factor scares me. I have to know where I sleep is clean.

great location. clean hotel. acceptable rooms and arranged properly. easy to get anywhere quickly Manhattan. quick check-in and absolutely good prices for Manhattan.

Horribly overrated hotel. Good service, but bad condition room and no response to complaint send.

They have large but not clean rooms ... old furniture and bathrooms ... breakfast super expensive too

The Loby is Fantastic, makes you think that rooms are like the loby, hell no. The hallways need to be redone, the carpet and the rooms need to be refurbished. Gonna let my Travel agent know about this. If I ever come back to NYC I will not stay here.

Very clean and centrally located hotel in the heart of Manhattan reasonable price without breakfast

Seems pretty nice. Had an issue with check in, but that is likely Groupon's fault. Much more spacious than other hotels that I have stayed at in NYC.

We were in August them on their honeymoon as a great location and the only thing the rooms are too old and too old health regarding the staff is very nice and clean furniture need to improve a little '.

Very dated. Not cleaned very well, the shower curtain smelled awful and must have been hanging there for a year. We had to take cold showers one day as their hot water wasn't working. Not recommended.....

Fantastic location, staff friendly and helpful, stayed in an executive room which had 2 double beds and loads of floor space
