Enjoyed my stay, updated rooms with antique flair.right in centre of things can walk to water front in 10 mins

Very clean. Washroom soaps and things good quality. High ceilings. Classy jazz music in the background. Hardwood floor in the room. F

Excellent hotel. Room was nice and well priced. The food was great but expensive. I loved the restaurant and the staff was amazing.

Stopped in for water during the pride parade and they had extras out for spectators. So thoughtful.

Recently renovated room but patchwork and incomplete areas visible. Room was small and pricey. Only one elevator was functioning at the time. Great location.

Worst stay at a hotel. Staff were rude, tried continuously to open the door of our room but it was jammed, after 15 minutes of trying to open it, it finally opened. Room was small and had an odd odour, toilet wouldn t flush. Staff never even asked how our stay was, and were rude throughout our stay. Would not recommend this hotel, should be shut down.

Great hotel.
All the staff is amazing and kind.
Rooms are renovated but very small.
With the renovated rooms, comes a downside.
They removed the carpets which is amazing and much cleaner in so many ways, but now the floors are absolutely frozen!
Bring some slippers!
I ve suggested they offer those hotel slippers so that our feet are not frozen when getting out of bed or out of the shower, but haven t heard back or seen any changes.
Hotel is well situated near lots of restaurants, shopping, and bars.
Their gym is small but offers enough machines for a decent workout.
In general, great hotel, great staff, and great location.

The rooms are nice, mix between modern chic and old style chic. The staff is amazing. Parking is not included. And underground and a little confusing but it's alright when you figure it out.

Rooms newly updated, very clean, staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast Buffet was okay, a little expensive.

My top pick for staying while attending an event in downtown Halifax. No brainer if you're not on a budget

It's our go to hotel while staying in Halifax. A classic vintage hotel feel with renovated and modern rooms. Great proximity to sites in the city and right across the street from a beautiful public garden. Staff is friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Keep up the great work gang!!!

Over priced, small rooms, never again place should be shut down

Failed to clean our room while we were out for the day. Asked for them to clean while we went out again in the evening and they said they would, but did not. Asked for a discount on our parking to make up for it but they offered instead to upgrade our room the next time we visit. We have zero plans to come back to Halifax so this is just a hook to get repeat business. Rooms are nice, service is definitely not.

Fantastic location in front of the gardens and a at an easy walking distance to every place. The beautiful hotel has an amazing bed. They also offered nespresso coffe in room. The gym is small but ok for the stay. Definitely a great place.

Hidden 28$ /day parking fee. Front desk was useless. However buffet breakfast was great as well as servers. Rooms were above par. The door man was legendary! His smile made our day.
