The experience of using The London Wine Cellar was deserving of 5 stars. They gave us a fair valuation for our boxed case of wine, picked it up for no charge and deposited our cash within a day or two. Selling this wine at auction would have incurred a sellers premium - not so with this company. Highly recommend them.

Fantastic service. I was gifted two bottles of wine that I realised where special. I ve never sold anything before and was a little dubious but after researching different dealers on the internet, the reviews about TLWC made me feel confident, and I wasn t wrong. I contacted Tim and the whole transaction was completed easily and speedily within two days, an excellent service. I especially like the fact that a courier collects the bottle(s) so don t have to mess around with posting.

Had occasion to sell two cases of wine in a short time frame. I was given a transparent price that matched the market prices at the time. An immediate 25% payment was placed in to my account and the balance on completion. The bonded warehouse delayed the sales by 10 days but The London Wine Cellar worked with me to push the deal through as fast as possible. Great service.

I used the Whatsapp facility, it worked well. Some prices were reasonable and others were a little insulting (guess it depends on what you have in your cellar. I didn't receive ANY emails at all throughout the process, again which meant i had to 'chase things up'. My I. B stock transfer was very smooth, as was the payment. Altogether satisfactory... but maybe could be a little more customer centric. Certainly worth a call.

However having made contact with London Wine Cellar via WhatsApp and I asked for a valuation. All I had to do is send them a photo of my wine, which was not cheap, agree a price, they sent a courier around to collect the wine, (they paid me half the agreed price beforehand), and on receipt of the wine they sent me the balance in one working day.
