Great experience. It has gotten packed tight the last few years though. Used to do a tour anytime we could. I am especially fond of the nut brown and the springbok.

This is one of the oldest breweries in North Carolina, they are a key part of the renaissance in the Piedmont beer scene.
The new tap room is open and you can get speciality beers such as barrel conditioned that are not made available elsewhere.
I love this brewery! The taproom provides a laid back atmosphere and feels like the Holly Springs equivalent to Cheers. The owners are great and the beertenders are too. Choosing a beer is often difficult because all of them are so good. One Saturdays, Bert gives one heck of a tour! Visit once and you'll go out of your way to visit again.
Awesome new brewery! Great start for the firecracker ride!
So lucky to have this great brewery so close to where I live in Holly Springs! Love the Wiggo!
Generally their beers are average. However, the Hop Roar West Coast Style IPA (7.5% ABV) is outstanding! We normally don't buy commercial kegs since we have many kegs of homebrew on tap at all times. Home brewing for 26 years.
We stopped in at opening for a beer. My wife asked the bar tender a question and she was extremely rude to my wife. She actually turned and walked away. We will take our business elsewhere. We have visited over 150 breweries and this is the worst service so far. I wish i had taken the bar tenders picture to post. Short girl with dark hair, she was snapping at other bar tenders too. Unfortunately i could not give them a zero.
Greg and his team are over the top awesome and their product is second to none. Thank you very much for your kindness and support. Team FestiVELO
Not an IPA fan in general but love all their other brews. Tour is always informative and well attended with a fairly young crowd. Great place to meet some locals and compare beer stories. I go a couple of times a month if poss and arrive after the tour with a buddy for a couple of free pints. We don't feel guilty as we always purchase at least a case between us.. Nut Brown my personal favorite. Alan the Scotsman is often pulling pints, cant understand a bloody word he say's......great bunch of people at Carolina Brewery. Perfect place to bring visitors from out of town.
The service was outstanding. The keg I got was great. One other positive I noticed was that the keg seemed fuller than the Yuengling kegs I was getting at total wine. Could not have asked for a better experience. Thanks
Beer was cold and great. The young lady behind the bar was fun to talk to.
I frequent the place often, great place, gets loud though when full
A great place for "Tasty Liquids". Excellent beer. Tap room is a little cramped when crowded but the staff is great and the beer is excellent.
Great vibe, good people, great beer. Awesome please to chill at
The beer was great. FREE tour (thanks, Burt and Jimmy - Second String bluegrass band at Q Shack in Durham, April 9!)! I had a pint of the Winter Porter - absolutely delicious. Wife enjoyed the Brown Ale. Also took home a growler of Hop Roar IPA. Outstanding! Atmosphere was a little dreary in the tap room, but otherwise, great. PRO TIP: Download the Stealz app and get a free pint glass!
Great beer, great owners and staff, very relaxed and friendly. My favorite tap room in these parts!
Great beer and awesome service! Found my go to place!
Great beer and great staff. The taproom had a nice vibe and Thursday $3.50 pint special is a great deal!
Waitress was very knowledgeable about their beer. Has a lot more than the Pale Ale you see in grocery stores. Good selection from IPA, Dark IPA, Imperial Stout, Belgian Triple, Dunkelweisen, Octoberfest. Wine for non beer drinkers. Outdoor patio for nice days. Very good tour. Dog friendly.
Great beer, great service! Very knowledgeable staff. Will go out of my way to come back!
Been coming here for years with my wife. My local watering hole. Thirsty Thursdays are a bargain. We LOVE this place! Andy's man bun keeps the place sewn up tight. Mark and Van are always happy to see us. Lauren is great!(short girl with dark hair). She brings awesome energy whenever she works and has the best stories! Never had a bad time here. It's s like Cheers. Everybody knows our name!
Excellent brews, great staff and a nice atmosphere. Well worth stopping by.
Beer was good and the people were great, if I lived here this would be my daily place to grab a beer. Swing by if you have the chance. I recommend the Belgian tripple.
CBC has been a long time local favorite. Much better than all other local breweries. Beer consistently tastes master crafted and service is excellent.
Super good beer. This is the original micro brew of the Carolinas. Stop in the tasting room and grab a varietal flavor. Or just make your own 6pack from the fridge to go.
Tours are free and are offered at 1 pm on Saturdays. They no longer offer the free beer tasting, so make sure you arrive early and grab yourself a brew before the tour starts. I can't remember the name of the beer I tried but it was the Belgian one with about 9%. Comparable to Deirium Tremens, but better tasting.
Tip - if you download the Stealz app, you can get a free beer glass!
Enjoyed 2018 Firecracker bike ride and brew after wards on the fourth of July. Great time and great band.
Good beers but deal with your fire ants please. The tables outside have fire ants on them. Would be 5 stars if I didn't get bit several times by ants.
Love the new taproom, and Joe always does an amazing job with his tours. CBC is one of six original breweries in NC and we love their consistently traditional brews!
I have a slightly different perspective as I deliver to them on a daily basis. Good guys and I've sure enjoyed their products off the clock.
Friendly and relaxed environment. Great staff and great beer.
You guys and gal, knocked the Oktoberfest beer out of the park!! Best one of many I've tried. The Nut Brown is my favorite store bought beers. I home brew. Keep rockin!
My favorite watering hole! This place has been a favorite of myself and my co-workers for a long while. Great, personable staff and excellent beer!
Neat place to visit and always have great beers on tap. Plus they have games to play while you hang out.
Service is always good. I like Scotch Ale, Spring Bock & Winter Porter.
Been a couple of times now and I always receive stellar service from Justin. He's a thoughtful bartender that provides a comfortable atmosphere to enjoy your beer in. Also the beer is absolutely wonderful and the establishment has a great view into the brewing room to make you feel more at home. I can't recommend this place enough to any microbrew enthusiasts. I will be visiting again very shortly.
Nice, solid beers that stand the test of time. Great place to tour on a Saturday.
Always great beer and service. Great variety of beer styles.
on top of their regular beers and seasonal beers they do barrel age beers.
Tasty brews. Venue is tiny and there was a terrible odor outdoors by the seat I ng area.
