The Loft at 600 F Review

I recently hosted an event for a client at The Loft 600 F! My experience from beginning to end was awesome! Andrew was extremely helpful from the moment I called in search of the perfect venue for my client, to the day of the event. The exposed brick wall and open layout gives you the feel of a New York City Brownstone. The guest were truly impressed and the venue created the perfect backdrop to a memorable event! I will be encouraging future clients to check out The Loft for their events and I look forward to finding a reason to utilize the space again!

I'm a photographer/videographer and have shot events at this venue on multiple occasions. It is one of my favorite spots in DC! Beautiful buildout, stylish decor, and you can't beat the location. On every occasion things have run smoothly from start to finish with the venue and their preferred vendors. I highly recommend them!

If you're looking for a place to host any kind of corporate gathering in the heart of DC without spending thousands on Food & Beverage minimums, look no further. Between the architecture, location, and cost there really isn't any other place like The Loft at 600F. I have held partner training events at The Loft on numerous occasions and my clients have always been more than happy. The staff is accommodating, flexible, and very easy to work with. Looking forward to many future events here.

Great event staff and fantastic space (right next to the metro and parking garage). With one week's notice, I had a last minute retreat to put together and I was lucky enough to be connected with Ryan and Monica from DC events who helped make everything happen. Thanks to the staff, we had a very successful work retreat and received compliments about the space and event itself. Thank you for your excellent customer service, accommodations and assistance.

Several floors of modest event spaces in an old refurbished building next to the Harman Theater and across from the Capital One Center. Event floors reached by steep, narrow stairs or an old elevator that holds two people. Accommodates events with up to sixty or so attendees. Catering in the building offers pedestrian food.

The space was open, clean, and inviting. It was easy to find and easily accessible from the metro. I would recommend for any company event or meeting.

Working with this business (if you can call it that) for the short time that I did was terrible. Unresponsive to e-mail and phone calls, and never followed up as they said they would. It wasn't until I called maybe 3-4 times later and asked for an invoice again a week later that they told me my date was booked...even though they told me it was available prior to booking. How do you give away a space as you're writing up the invoice? Completely unprofessional, and utterly disappointing. Such a waste of time. Had I known how they operated before hand I would have looked up more venues.

The Loft at 600F is a fantastic venue. We held a 70-person convening that included panel discussions, meals, breakout sessions and discussions, and we were accommodated perfectly. The use of two floors was huge and the location is central to lots of DC sites and restaurants. Staff was very helpful and tended to every request in a timely manner. Would definitely host an event here again!

The Loft is a perfect venue for a variety of events: professional, casual, celebratory and more. I held a kickoff breakfast for a women's professional group at The Loft at 600 F. The staff could not have been more helpful with advice and consultation on the event details and even arriving at a ridiculously early hour for set-up. My guests all commented, "What a great space!" They are now planning their own events there, and I look forward to hosting another event at The Loft too.

I attended an event called Passion to Purpose at the Loft last summer. It's a very modern space and created an atmosphere for creativity. I enjoyed the event and the venue was perfect for the panel style discussion and audience interaction.

We held our Speaker Reception at the Loft at 600 F, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. We rented the third floor which was a cozy, comfortable, and welcoming space with modern touches that brought everything together. We had around 100 attendees, and the size of the space was perfect as the layout facilitated conversation amongst attendees. The staff was wonderful to work with every step of the way. We are looking forward to hosting our future receptions here!

My husband and I recently held our reception at the Loft. We were super excited about the space and it definitely delivered! Highly recommend the Loft. They are awesome (and nerdy gamers too).

Our wedding guests had an amazing time in this space, tons of room, all the lighting you could need, projector on site, beautiful furniture, great location, and sweet ass view!

It also has two frosted glass enclosed room near the back for you to utilize.

We held a roundtable event for physicians and patient advocates here during a major medical conference. Our client and guests loved the ambiance of the space, and the fact that it allowed guests to get away from the overwhelming convention center. It was a great setting for an intimate meeting and networking event. JJ, Amanda and the staff we very accommodating and easy to work with. They were incredibly responsive and communicative in the planning process, which was helpful since we were planning remotely from NYC, and very detail oriented. I'd highly recommend this space!

I came to this event venue for a networking event for event specialists. All about events! The space is in the perfect spot in Gallery Place-Chinatown, right across the Chinatown metro and walking distance to Archives metro and Judiciary Square metro. There are 4 floors, loft style, good for classy, intimate events.

Very nice space. We rented a floor for a corporate event. Staff was great.

I booked the whole venue for a party that was to have taken place this past weekend. Due to Covid19 (*in-person gatherings of 50 people or more are currently ILLEGAL to hold in DC) we were not able to hold the event. My calls have all gone unreturned. My emails have never been returned. It goes without saying, sadly, that my deposit of a few thousand dollars has also not been returned. Both the caterer and the band have gladly rescheduled the event without penalty. The Loft@600 has done nothing but ghost me. And taken my money.

We rented the space for a corporate meeting and were extremely pleased with the venue. Everything was set up when we arrived and we had a turnkey event. I liked the layout in that there are separate areas for food/coffee, classroom style seating, and a lounge area. Great spot for company meetings and will definitely repeat.

Great spot. We had a team offsite on the second floor for about 20 people, and it worked really well for us. The staff was in communication before hand to make sure everything was setup as needed, and when we walked in day-of it was all ready to go. Would definitely recommend. The space itself is also really cool!

I recently had a big going away party here at The Loft and it was amazing!! I loved the decor and ambiance and so did my guest who couldn't stop offering complements regarding the space. The staff was extremely helpful during the entire planning and execution process. I highly recommend this space for an event if you want an awesome modern, classy, and top notch venue with top notch staffing. Your guest will be talking about it for days.

I can't imagine a more perfect space than The Loft at 600 F for our 2 day company retreat. The space with its open floor plan, warm wood floors and brick walls, and windows allowing sunlight to stream in allowed our staff to work in a productive yet relaxed setting. The room's flexibility allowed for breakout sessions, large group discussions, Powerpoint presentations, and even great space for meals. Brittany and her staff worked with my budget, anticipated our needs, and were on hand to quickly respond to requests. I couldn't have asked for anything more!

Historic building meeting space. The building is very cool for VERY small groups. The 3rd floor can comfortably hold about 20 people. More than that and it becomes very cramped. With only two bathrooms available, it really shouldn't be used for a large group.

Management was very abrasive, unwilling to compromise, and treated the patrons with little respect.

The Loft is an excellent event space. We hosted a White House Correspondence Dinner pregame there and I can see why they are rated one of the highest in DC. The staff was extremely responsive and flexible with the space uses, and our two-floor party felt like it was held at our a mansion of our own.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington hosted a male summit at the Loft for our male mentoring group in March. We booked the second floor, the layout and A/V was perfect for the summit. The service and the accommodations provided by their team exceeded our expectations. For instance, their team was helpful and provided great communication along the booking process. Andrew Clouse, General Manager, was present the day of the event to ensure we were set up and prepared for the day. We will definitely use them again in the future.

Earlier this month, my group had a meeting at The Loft. It was FANTASTIC!!! And, truly, everyone loved the space. We had a very productive meeting, and the environment was such a welcomed change from the standard meeting rooms we often find ourselves in. The staff was extremely patient and helpful all day, and for that I was very appreciative.

Wonderful unique event space. Holds 100-150 comfortably. Atmosphere is an updated, modern town house. Great for breakfasts and kickoffs!

We rented this for a company meeting and it turned out great! It's very spacious, well lit and in a great part of D.C.

The Loft is a really cool space. I can't speak to the pricing, as I went here for a corporate event, but it's well maintained and enjoyable.

I recently had a launch party event at The Loft and my experience was amazing! From the promptness and friendliness of the staff, to the great location and venue set up my guests and myself had a phenomenal evening. My organization recently held a two day meeting at the Loft. It was just what we were looking for and a welcome change from the hotel basements so often utilized for these kinds of meetings. Aside from the great aesthetic, the staff was very helpful and our meeting was a success.

Seems like a great venue, but contact with customers is lacking. I've contacted the venue twice through 2 different means (a wedding website, and directly) with all the details, only to receive a "what can we help you with?" response several days later. It's been a week and a half and I still don't know whether the venue is even available on our date.

This is a gorgeous wedding venue! It's a little small but very pretty and well laid out.

This was the perfect venue for a professional networking event. Incredibly helpful staff. Highly recommend. Will definitely keep it at the top of the list for other future events.

We held a 2-day work retreat at the Loft, and the space was absolutely perfect. My criteria were:
-- Plenty of sun-filled windows
-- Comfortable & flexible seating options (we had couches as well as tables for breakout discussions)
-- Big screen for Powerpoint projection

The Lofts at 600 F. Street have been nothing but accommodating. We are having an event next week and last minute - we needed an extra room for our CEO coming into town and they took care of it within seconds and didn't even charge us! We have not even had our event yet but the customer service has been outstanding. HIGHLY recommend this venue for any event!!!

I can't say enough about this space and the team at The Loft.

We used this space for our staff retreat and found it was the perfect get away for a multi-day planning session. It is perfectly located in downtown DC. Parking was very easy to find as there are a number of parking garages located just steps away from the building.

The staff were incredibly professional and responsive. The caterer they use is fantastic and we enjoyed the creativity and quality of the food. If you ever have the chance, I highly recommend you consider using The Loft for your next event.

The Loft at 600 F was the ideal place to host an all day staff meeting for our small non-profit organization. The design flare of a industrial style townhouse paired with the modern decor was amazinging beautiful. The staff was great to work with and was able to accommodate our groups needs. The Aspen Institute recently held a large event at The Loft, and it was the perfect space to accommodate our group of 70 people. We would definitely have another event at The Loft in the future! Thank you to the team for accommodating our every need!

My company hosted a Silent Auction at this venue and I cannot say enough good things about our experience. The people that we worked with helped customize the space and find the right vendors to match what we were looking for. They were extremely communicative and welcoming to ideas that we have. The response that we received from our attendees was overwhelmingly positive that there is no doubt in my mind that we would use this space again! It is so hard to find venues in the city and this was hands down the best experience I've had putting an event on and working with the staff.

Our group of 23 had a 2-day meeting over the weekend in the 4th floor of The Loft. Our group has not met in DC before and I am thrilled I found The Loft when I googling for meeting locations! It was perfect for our group! We held our plenary discussions in the main room and we used the enclosed side room as well as the sitting area with the couch and the small alcove with a table for our breakout discussions. The AV equipment in the main room and side room were easy to use. The Loft coordinated our catered lunches which provided options for vegetarians, vegans, and gluten-free diets. Plus staff from The Loft were available throughout the day as questions came up. In addition to being ideal for our meeting logistics, The Loft is in an ideal location. It is close to lots of great food options, our hotel was just a 5-minute walk away, and the National Mall was a 15-minute walk. I received a number of compliments on how well our meeting went which was due in large part to The Loft and their staff!

This venue has a space that is easy to transform into your own for any event. The front has an entrance can easily be used as a registration space for guests. They have a good set up for a kitchen, bar, and coat rack. The main space is open to allow you to keep it as a mingling space or set up different mini-areas. 10/10 would recommend.

Very friendly staff, prime location (right by the Capital One Arena) and beautiful venue. Hosted a partner training event on the 3rd floor that the Loft team set up custom to my requirements. Everything ran smoothly.

I held my company's Holiday Party at this venue this past week and it was great. We ended up booking 2 spaces on the 6th floor for about 220 people total. One room was set for Entertainment, the other room for food and socializing. I started the whole booking/planning process several months ago and along the way I worked with a lot of different people. Huge thanks to J.J. Siler for being super flexible and patient while I worked out some kinks on my end. Amanda Kijak was super helpful during the walk-through process, and the people that actually worked the events going on that day (December 15th) were extremely helpful and responsive. Brandon, in particular, was my best friend that night - please make sure he gets a big pat on the back. It was a bit tough with the setup/break-down times being really tight, but we made it work. Looking forward to working with this venue for future events.

We held a happy hour event here and the staff was wonderful! The space is gorgeous and styled beautifully. I recommend!

Difficult to locate the entrance and flights on flights on flights of narrow stairs to contend with, or wait your (long) turn to use the minuscule elevator...

I had my 45th birthday party at the Loft. It was amazing! The staff is extremely nice, very professional and easy to work with. The venue is beautiful! My family and friends enjoyed themselves and some are considering using the space for future events. Superb service!

The Loft at 600 F is one of my favorite places in DC. The space is beautiful, full of large windows, exposed brick, and hardwood floors. It has a vintage, industrial feel that also makes you feel right at home. Not only is the space truly special, but the staff that runs the Loft is such a pleasure to work with. They are so accommodating and full of great ideas. The space is so versatile for meetings, weddings, conferences, ect. I enjoyed every moment working with the Loft and hope I have the chance to work with them again in the future.

These chairs are good for weddings; go, sit for 5 minutes, congratulate the happy couple, and leave. These are NOT supposed to be the chairs on which you make poeple sit for 8 hours. Luckily the subject was interesting and the poeple knowledgeable, so this ranking. But giving people backache ia NOT the way to their hearts.

The management was unprofessional, combative, and rude.

The space at The Loft @ 600 F is modern and flexible and super conveniently located. There are lots of hotels and great restaurants nearby, and we were able to transform the space into a space for engaging panel discussion, cozy breakout sessions, and large group conversation. I would definitely host an event here again.

CDT recently used the Loft for our staff retreat and has also held numerous other events there (book launches, holiday party, receptions). It's an incredible space - modern and comfortable. It really helped us have a productive retreat and encouraged team building. The Loft staff is wonderful and the facilities really allow for creative uses.

Parking is easy. Nice space for medium size meetings

I haven't actual used the event space, but I did request a quote. I received a quote in record time and it was very professional. The information given was detailed. I even received a follow up email to address any questions I had. Their customer service was on point. If you can feel good customer service through and email, then I would say it has to be stellar in person. This place looks spectacular!!!! Since good service is so rare I try to share when I can.

Awesome venue ,the type you would see in a movie . i was on a panel discussion with former EPA director Mustafa Ali , Senator Cory Booker, and Assemblyman Michael Blake discussing complexity of environmental injustices and systematic oppression towards people of color.

GPS says I was here. Just walked by. Nice doors. Maybe this location will go away now. Sheesh

The staff was wonderful to work with and the aesthetic of the office was beautiful. We had a wonderful training in the space and would definitely consider re-booking the next time we are in DC!

The venue itself is great with comfy couches. At the time we were there, there were only two toilets (with one having a broken lock) for 40 people which was tricky. Be aware that this venue is located opposite from the fire station hence be sure to get sirens frequently.
