Great store. Superb meat selection, produce, and a knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff. They have a good ethnic foods section as well. Considering the high quality, I think the prices are reasonable.

Went to Central Market for NY steaks today, excellent quality as always. If you're looking for the best prime cuts in the area, this is the place to go. Their seafood department is very impressive as well. I've been doing business here for 20 years and have never been disappointed with either.

I recall when they expanded a local grocery store and more than doubled its size and the cashier, told me "This is going to be a destination store." This delightful older man sounded so convinced and I hoped, for his sake, that it would be successful. Oh, he was So Right. (He continued to work there for a while after the revamp of the store and was so pleased.) I take out of town guests there just for the delight of the place. Seems like a great work environment. Low staff turn over. They essentially have anything I want, even fresh turmeric for anti-inflammatory benefit in my smoothies. The produce, fish and meat departments take up the original footprint of one part of the expansion. The food court takes up another. Great bulk section.

I love this store!! It reminds me of a much fancier Trader Joe's. You can find a bunch of stuff that you're unlikely to find anywhere else. I can find just about any ethnic food ingredients and whatever you like to eat, they have in organic and vegan options. There are a few common grocery store items that you'll find in the store, but most of it is very unique. They also have live seafood available!! This definitely isn't someplace I'd do my regular shopping at just because of the insane prices (I spent $87 on a half a bag of groceries) but anytime you want to find something unique and interesting, this is the place you should go....especially for seafood!! Yum!! It's one of the few places you can get live dungeness crab!

It's great! It's located on my path home and i visit it often. It has a lot of food. Personally, i usually buy eggs, rice, and potatoes but there are quite a lot of other things too like cooking wine, noodles, condiments, protein-related things, and much mich more. The prices are quite affordable but occasionally slightly more expensive than some other locales. I'm rating it 4 stars as i didn't find any fine sugar. Edit : i was just careless; there's fine sugar

We've shopped here at Central Market for more than 15 years. The produce is very good, well presented, and a really big draw. The bulk food section is very well stocked with a wide variety of organic and non-organic items, and bulk spices. The wine and beer section always has a great selection. The deli has great meats and cheeses.

The employees seem to truly enjoy working there. It's very pleasant to shop there. Central Market is part of a small local chain -- Town and Country. They make a real effort to bring in local merchandise. Supporting Northwest farms and producers much better than one of the big chains, and they succeed very well at it.

Central Market is a reliable destination for us. Friendly, reliable, very knowledgeable staff, and a great selection of local and international products. Clean, organized, priced right - there's nothing lacking at this grocer, based here in the Seattle area. Excellent meat and seafood products, great produce, and if you're looking for prepared foods, you should easily be able to find something you'll like in the deli department. We've been shopping there for for nearly two decades, and they have worked to keep us there this whole time.

I just want to give a big THANK YOU!!!!
to the store and their staff. Last time my family went shopping my 9 year old left his wallet in the little shopping cart with his money in it, all this time he felt very sad. He was very sad because it took him a while to save $71 and more importantly his wallet that he was excited he had found a five nights at Freddy's wallet.
Luckily someone from Crental Market had found it and all his things were in it.

We come to Central Market for the meat and produce. Their selection for fruits and vegetables is generally a bit better than other nearby grocery stores and you can find some of the not-so-common ingredients. They have a wide selection of meat cuts at the counter and the meat counter staff are always pretty helpful.

Central market always has a fantastic selection of good looking food. It does well to justify it's high prices, but you can still always find a good deal. This store is the main reason there isn't a whole foods around here. Whole foods can't compete.

Sadly after 12 years experience of coming in the store and buying a take and bake and having them bake the pizza for me right then and there has never been a problem. Until tonight when I come in and I get told no. I can handle that except for when they start to make up things to justify their lack of knowledge or to excuse their laziness. Telling me it s a law that I can t do what I ve been doing for a long time, it is not only an extremely pathetic act of customer service. It insults my intelligence and literally just claims the guy as a proud human jerk.
FYI yes It is completely legitimate to buy a take and bake pizza and have it be cooked. If you want to check me on that just go to 7-Eleven they do it all day every day.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great selection of meats, cheeses, fruits, and vegetables. The seafood section is a little small but has a nice variety of fresh (or previously frozen), frozen, and live critters.

Store is very clean. Prices are, on average, slightly higher than QFC but their Asian section has good options that are surprisingly competitive (sometimes even beating out the Asian markets in Seattle and Shoreline).

Keep your eyes open for the red tag specials if you want to score some good deals. And don't forget to stop by the chef station near the produce area for some free samples and great recipes.

Lastly, they have one of the best bulk sections in the area. Losts of spices, herbs, dry goods, and candy to choose from. The staff are very helpful and the prices are very good on this stuff.

Overall a great place to shop.

The crab cakes, have so much crab they fall apart in the pan, delicious. Love all the free range, grass fed beef/chicken. Huge produce dept. Need a meal idea, they have them all over the store with the ingredients right there. Deli has a huge selection.

Probably the best grocery store in WA. The store is well maintained cleanliness but layout is kinda tricky, a little maze like. All of the departments - produce, seafood, dry goods, frozen, deli and bakery have a large variety. They have a great Asian section and they carry a lot of Hawai'i and local products. Wish there were more locations in South Seattle.

A Seattle best. Great produce department and seafood departments. Cheese selection and deli as well. Current pandemic has changed options in deli of course but some items still available in containers and packages. Great staff doing a very good job right, especially now.

A truly beautiful store with a wide variety of things, especially hard to find things like exotic cheeses, meats, gluten free, fresh seafood as in live, unusual fruits and vegetables like kumquats and figs, etc. Also on-site prepared sushi that is restaurant quality. But a single bag of stuff usually runs $30. Worth every penny, but I can't afford it routinely

What a great store. The Asian section has Angelo Pietro Salad dressings, Yamasa soy sauce and many other excellent products. They stock frozen and refrigerated items as well. The seafood department has many locally sourced items. The deli area has many types of cheeses. Plenty of parking and easy to find. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Quality produce, but you pay for it. I don't mind paying extra for it when it comes to produce, but things that are in other stores are over priced as well. Really good deli, meat, and fish departments. Good Asian food selection and bulk food selection. If it's items that you can find elsewhere were the same price as elsewhere, this would be a five star store.

This is pretty much the only store I ll shop at for my private chef business. Every department is knowledgeable and takes care in their work. The cashiers have baggers, whereas other stores rarely have them. I always recommend this grocery store!

We always go to central market to get our meats and cheeses, not unusual for its to spend more than $50 at the deli meats counter and the service is typically great. Today we spent $68 to prep for vacation to chelan, knowing we'd not be able to find the smoked gouda or calabrese salami over there. The service was terrible, we literally repacked each and every package when we got home. Take some lessons from the Mill Creek Central Market...
