Near Lake Jolla and the Torrey Pines golf course. Beautiful course, but a bit overpriced for non residents. Though course is not officially part of the Lodge. Great rooms and service, and good food options on site

Lovely location, lovely hotel, beautiful at the holidays. Very attentive staff, Gary the bellman, valets, Rosario on the nature hike and Barbara at the spa. Third floors maids who were so friendly. Dan and Matt -fun bartenders. Very helpful concierge and front desk staff. And a wonderful Christmas dinner at the Grill. Saving my money to go back!

It's a nice location and the rooms are well-done, but there's not enough space at the resort for the number of people staying there. The pool and hot tub area were packed all day and there were lots of loud children running around. The food at the restaurant was pretty good, but definitely not anything memorable (which is disappointing for the price). There were some very friendly and helpful staff members, but some of them were really not up to par for a high end resort. For the experience they provide, I'd only return if it were about $200-$250 per night.

I had a client stay here for a project recently and they were extremely happy! The staff was very easy to work with and very professional. I will put clients up during productions here always in the future.

This was my 3rd visit to Torrey Pines, to have dinner at AR Valentin. It's one of my favorite places to eat in San Diego. The staff are always kind and knowledgeable. The food is always amazing, especially on this visit because of the fall menu. Even though I feel a bit out of place as a heavily tattooed 20-something, I love making a trip there at least once a year on special occasions. Highly recommend it for your next fancy dinner out. Don't skip the corn meal biscuits!

Unique craftsman style hotel and event venue. Lots of rooms, plenty of dining options and don't forget the golf course. Courteous and professional staff. Breathtaking vistas of the greens and the ocean. Room service was delicious and prompt. About 25 min from the San Diego airport.

Gorgeous location, sophisticated and has an understated elegance with a lot of cozy craftsman touches. The staff is utterly superb, they really make you feel welcome and taken care of, all were ready and willing to go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. The grounds are amazing and the views stunning...I was here for work and unfortunately didn't have as much time to explore as I would have liked. If I had a chance to go back I would make it a point to spend more time enjoying the beautiful location! Overall highly recommend.

This is a great hotel. It has an amazing view that is hard to be beaten. Not to mention the fact that you are right on the golf course. just wake up roll out of bed and hop on your golf cart LOL
Definitely a great place to stay and very worth the money
it might not be everyone's everyday hotel but it is definitely worth staying at at least once in your life.

World-class location and service. This old-school lodge features stunning views of the course and ocean, a charming, but faint campfire smell, and comfortable rooms. Not particularly "modern," it is luxurious, and classic, and I recommend it for anyone wanting to truly relax and take a full step away from the daily grind.

This is a beautiful property located on the Torrey Pines golf course. The hotel has a very nice rustic feel. We were there for a special birthday and the hotel staff made it feel special. The customer service was excellent

We stayed for 6 nights during the pandemic and cherished every minute on the grounds. It is understandably beautiful there but what is most notable is the service. Whether it be room service, the service at the pool, the cleaning staff or the concierge.. every interaction is positive and warm. This may be one of my favorite stays - and we aren't even golfers.

We had weekend brunch at the grill. The setting is beautiful. The service was slow, although very friendly. The food is OK, fairly basic and is in the 'nothing to write home about' category for me.

A wonderful poperty tucked away in the gorgeous La Jolla neighborhood of San Diego. The room overlooked the famous Torrey Pines Golf Course and Pacific Ocean. Additionally, the staff was amazing.

We spent 3 glorious nights at The Lodge. From the minute we called to book to the moment we checked out, we were made to feel incredibly well cared for.

It is obvious that the staff maintains both the grounds and hotel with the utmost pride. As a well traveled couple, the level of detail found in their effort blew our minds.

The staff set a new level of hospitality, in our eyes. It will be hard to find their equal.

We will be back.

Thanks!!

My goodness, I haven't been to a better hotel. Spacious rooms with attention to detail in choice of decor in addition to detailed construction. Service was top notch. This hotel deserves a five Diamond rating. Simply the best hotel experience I've ever had.

What an amazingly gorgeous spot! The views are stunning and the lodge is done up in a beautiful way. Everyone is extremely polite and helpful when you need them. The bar was a pleasant experience with many drink options and interesting cocktails. They're reasonably priced for the location and pack a punch to make the cost worth it. Definitely a nice spot to take a date and just walk around.

This is a beautiful lodge designed more like a ski lodge but a golf resort. The service is exceptional - the restaurants serve delicious food - it is well located - and place for weddings it seems - the beach, my only gripe, is 1.5 miles away - walkable but a steep gradient coming back. Did not use the spa but it looked great.

The location is very beautiful with the view to the beach, the sunset, golf course and the resort. We reserved through open table on a week night which happens to fall on my wedding anniversary. We did not ask for an outside table but were given one anyway. It was a little chilly but they turned on the heat lamp next to us. We did not order alcohol but ice tea and warm water in a kettle. The prices were a little high but we were expecting that for the location and quality of the service and food. My wife offered the prime steak and I ordered the prawns. I had the Japanese bread with prosciutto. My wife had curry with crab legs. The medium prepared steak was very tender. But maybe a bit too much butter. But nevertheless it was delicious. My prawns were served on some sweet beans but I forgot the name. We liked the service and open table had relayed the message that it was our wedding anniversary so they brought a complementary desert at the end. We did not order more deserts bc we were full.

I was excited to find out that I would be attending a meeting at the lodge and was really looking forward to golfing the famous South course. The lodge and golf didn't dissapoint. Great meeting venue and the golf was spectacular. A word of caution though to those looking at having meetings or group outings here. Upon checking in I noticed I was booked for one night too many. Simple fix right? The front desk was very pleasant to deal with and told me that wouldn't be a problem. Upon checking out I was only billed for the nights I stayed and was again told no problem, but that a supervisor would call me back and let me know the bill was fine. As I was on my way to the airport I recieved a call from a supervisor informing me I was responsible for the additional night as it was written into the meeting contract. I explained that this was not my fault and that an error had been made by those booking the meeting. They insisted this wasn't thier problem and that I would have to pay for the extra night. I was led to believe on multiple occasions that I would not be charged for the extra night and this is what I got. I never expected this from a 5 Star resort and everyone needs to know there is zero flexibility in dealing with the management staff. I hope the folks at Pebble Beach treat us fairly as we will not be returning to this venue again.
