We have been coming to Litchfield to vacation for the last 10 years and this was the worst experience we have ever had. We rented the Dale House and this house should not be rented in the condition it is in. There was mold on the ceiling, the upholstery was covered in cat urine (we brought beach chairs inside to sit down), the disposal didn t work, and the mattress pads were covered in cat hair. The cabinets in the kitchen were covered in a greasy substance, the stove was literally falling off the hinges and almost every piece of furniture was broken. There were stains on the upholstery and comforters (some that looked like blood). We were disgusted and called the office at least 5 times and went by the office to voice our complaints and no one ever returned our calls. We emailed after our stay to discuss the horrible, unsanitary condition the rental was in and received no apology or reparations. They need to fix the condition of this house before allowing families to be duped into renting. Had I known more about this house, I would have never brought my children and stayed here (especially as I am pregnant). Very disappointed.

We worked with The Litchfield Company to purchase a home in the area and were blown away with the level of service that they provided. We were very hands on in the process and they were more than happy to answer all of our questions and guide us through every step. Courtney Koonce and the Jamie Beard Team worked hard to find us the perfect property at a great price and made the closing process very easy. We would highly recommend the company and will use them again!

When we came in to town to look at a few condos. Diane was very responsive, listened to what we were looking for, and we found the perfect place. Extremely receptive to our wants and needs, and interrupted her schedule to help us find out place. Now the deal is done and she is still helping us, and now we consider her a friend. Over the past almost two years I have had the pleasure of working with several agents in The Litchfield Company. Rick Bruce helped introduce me to Pawleys Island. He spent a whole day driving me from one point to the other in hopes it would help me in understanding my choices of communities. I ended up purchasing a cute ocean front property that I enjoyed for almost 1 1/2 years that helped me make up my if I truly wanted to live here. It did. I bought another larger condo 3/4 of mile from the beachfront property and Rick helped me with this as well. Bud Harper who is with the company also overseas where I purchased. Together these gentleman took great care of making the next purchase smooth and painless. After moving into the new condo it was now a decision that I would make to sell the oceanfront unit I bought in the beginning. I had developed a friendly relationship with another wonderful agent in the company Valerie Stewart. We enjoyed getting to know each other on the beach and when it came time to list the property I chose Valerie to do the work. Her desire to go live with videos on Youtube and also just to promote my unit in a more social way seemed the way to do it and she was up for the cool challenge! We got it sold in several weeks and she too made the process an easy and wonderful transaction! It is hard to not give this company great kudos. I have had a great experience with each person in each capacity and if anything, you need to give the company a call and make it happen for yourself! It is a treasure to live here and know these people!

First time staying with this company on vacation and will not return. We stayed at a villa which was not too bad. Things just were not as clean as I thought should be, both toilets had a loose seat or moved when sitting down, one bathtub had dirt in it, trash under couch, mold in one bathroom. Our fridge started acting up and they said they would be back to fix it but never did, which resulted in some of our food going bad. Then there is the damage deposit which I was told would not be charged but did. Customer service would have probably been great if we didnt have to call about any issues. I had thought we'd get past for the resorts beach access (a friend stayed at a vila and got one) but was told we wouldn't get one. Could have been worse but definitely have had better experiences elsewhere.
