The Leela Review

I stayed at the Leela Goa in March 2018 after a month long job in Mumbai. It was the most relaxing experience of my life. The rooms and grounds are beautiful, but my favorite spot was the private beach. Lounging under the palms, listening to the sea - there s nothing quite like it. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I shall return. Thank you!

The hotel is picturesque but they need to get more golf cars as one needs to wait for a long time. The best thing about the hotel is FOOD. People who want to spend time with their families, please visit this place.

We stayed at The Leela, Goa from 7th July till 10th July. TL;DR Mind blowing service and probably the best hotel in Goa for some R&R.

Location & Travel: The Leela is situated at Mobor Beach in South Goa. Its about an hours drive from Dabolim International Airport. We had a complimentary airport pickup & drop arranged by the hotel and that was very comfy & convinient. A cab for 1-way transit would cost Rs. 1500 to 2000 depending on vehicle, but be prepared to haggle with the local cabbies or wait in line to book a official prepaid cab.

Hotel & Ammenities: We had the Lagoon Terrace room. The view from the balcony was quite serene and breathtaking. Big king bed was a bit firm for my taste but they have a pillow menu with a wide variety of options, so that's awesome. The staff is extremely hospitable & always happy to help. The interior of the room was luxurious but not modern like some other newer properties. Free 5mbps WiFi and a 42" LCD TV with BluRay player are standard. The bathroom had a massive tub and seperate shower section. It was a bit of a walk to our rooms from the gate, but there are free buggies readily available. There is a big pool right by beach, and plenty of spa services + steam/sauna to help you rejuvenate. There are bicycles available to explore the massive 75 acre property and tennis / badminton courts as well.

Food: We had a complimentary breakfast and the selection was vast, with enough veg & non-veg food to satisfy even the most picky palettes. We counted atleast 40 different dishes from Continental & Chinese to North & South India dishes. There are 4 restaurants on the property but we didn't get a chance to visit any of them. On a side note, there is a restaurant just 4 mins walk away called The Fishermans Wharf, it's a must visit.

The only thing I didn't like (and I'm probably nit picking here) was that the blinds between the bedroom and the bathroom didn't close fully and was a bit see through.

5 star to the staff and the service. Hands down the best hotel in Goa. Stayed here for 2 nights, beautiful property with private beach and 4 restaurants (delicious food). Special mention to Mona who made sure our stay was picture perfect.

Good Rooms & Happy to help service staff...... A star less in terms of maintenance & upkeep of the property needs a little attention.... Overall a exotic location with great amenities & awesome food.

The best property in goa with the most efficient staff who will take care of each of your requests. Special mention laxmi - guest relation manager. Kudos to her!

This is best resort in goa, resort has a huge front lobby one of the biggest I have ever seen, highly maintained golf course, excellent supportive staff, food is great with wide variety of servings especially in room dining, big rooms but with mosquitos, beach is extraordinarily clean & maintained by hotel, you enjoy the white soft sands & flat sea bed so it makes it safe for the kids & family members, highly recommended for a stay in goa..

Had stayed here back in 2005. Beautiful hotel and very well maintained. The interesting thing is that have there private beach and only hotel guests are allowed.
