These people are complete dirtballs. They LIE. If you ever have to contact this dumphole by phone make sure your line is recorded as well and remember to inform them your line is recorded to make it legal. I will admit I defaulted on a credit card and these are the maggots collecting the debt, I called them to set up an arrangement to repay. I also asked if I would be allowed to settle for less than owed at a later date when I get a lump sum of cash. The one maggot ( I have his name written down ) said yes that would be allowed. I was told this in December, I called the hellhole today To make my February payment and asked about a settlement again. Today I was told no settlement allowed, pay in full. Here's 2 middle fingers for this dump.

These people don t research anything they just want to harass you I had my debt settled by freedom debt relief and despite numerous attempts to inform them they are unable to stop harassing me poor service

Very rude and unprofessional. The woman April (I think it was a woman) would not let me finish my sentence lol. She even disputed that real estate management is work. Hire people who understand that being a receptionist is not the only job considered work!

Finally had the fried chicken sandwich n it was yummy . along with the pumpkin desert which was real n flavor n also delicious

One person I spoke to in order to settle a debt told me the "creditor had specific requirements" to settle. Called and spoke to a different person and was given a completely different dollar value to settle the debt. If you don't get where you want try talking to someone else but be warned they will lie about what is required for repayment as my experience shows.

If I could give 0 stars I would. They were handling a debt from a credit union that I was paying on, after 3 months of payments to them, I called to make a payment since I was unable to log in online to make a payment and they told me that my account had been closed LAST MONTH. I was never emailed, called, left voicemails, or even given a letter stating why they were closing it or that they were closing it in the first place. When I called they simply stated that since I no longer live in NY (which I never have and even gave them the address that I lived at from the very first time I spoke with them). So I just made payments on an account that I have no idea what the status is on now because they won't even tell me who to contact about making payments for this account. Worst debt collector ever.

With all this review is scary , i i ha to make my 2nd payment, i just call, they pick up the phone and no body answer, i was like hello! Hello! And i hear people having conversations, now I'm consent the this is a scan i gave my information last month in July, now in very worry, i just notice the my paper don't have my middle initial, i always in everything i write my full name with the initial,,,

This firm will not stop sending people to my residence to harass me about serving the old home owner with papers. I explained that she no longer lives here and that Im the new home owner and they still illegally served and left the notice on my door twice. This is disgusting and embarrassing being a new home owner and people leaving legal notices on your door that have nothing to do with you. It is also highly unprofessional. I called to have them remove me multiple times and no one answers. They need to stop being LAZY and do their research. Next time my lawyers will call them about the harassment because I have audio cameras and you can hear me tell this server multiple times that the woman does not live here and is the old owner.

They are very unprofessional specially that lawyer scott i made a payment and still harassing me i will get a lawyer and counter sue them i m not afraid of them let them bring it on.

If I could give them negative infinity I would. They garnished my wages without notice. Their customer service is poor and unprofessional. They obviously are getting away with their conduct. I agree...class action lawsuit necessary. Count me in.

I asked to set up a lump sum payment and the man on the phone refused my payment and told me to mail it. Who refuses money? I had to plead with him that I would like to pay it now and I did pay it almost half off (it seems they would rather keep me in debt than see me pay it off). Also, they are very difficult to get ahold of in way shape or form whether calling, mail or extensions, as it must be a ploy to make money.

I noticed them on my credit report and I have been calling, sending email and starting chats with this agency all morning but no one has bothered to pick up, return a call or email. How are you suppose to set up a payment plan if I can t get in touch with anyone.

The entire organization is a scam and the all are a bunch of moron scumbags! They don't even deserve the 1 star but i cannot post with 0 stars. All they are is a legalized racketeering company that screws people out of their asset.

These people file lawsuits without verifying the validity of the debt which is totally ILLEGAL!!!

Left multiple voicemails and sent several emails with absolutely no response. No letters or anything from them via mail. Turn around and sent wage garnishment to employer. Joke of a firm. Only giving 1 star because can't put 0.

The reviews for this firm speak volumes. My mother had a horrible experience earlier today speaking with a gentleman in collections, and the collections manager wasn't much better himself. She got laughed at, talked over, and lectured like a child. I guess customer service isnt important anymore.

they send me letter with my middle name wrong and asking for payment. i m going to court to sue them.

They are bunch of low life scam artists, band together and deceiving people all day everyday.

For the past two weeks these people have been garnishing my paycheck. I have no clue for what never received any paperwork or a reponse back from them.

They are extremely rude. This is also confirmed by the Washington county sheriff's department in Washington county NY.

Incredibly rude secretaries and staff. Everyone is so unprofessional - i called about my payments and the secretary did not let me get one complete sentence out before she responded rudely.. I asked to be transferred because she would not let me speak and she hung up on me. Miserable staff at this place. So difficult to work with these leeches. I wrote this review about them on the BBB and they responded by putting all my personal information and case specific information in the comment. Would leave zero stars but this site does not allow that.

Very easy to communicate and they will work with you if you can't pay full and are very customer friendly

I got a letter in the mail saying i owed my college $284, so I called the school and they said that I owed $175. I paid it through the school, this guy is a scammer who wants to take as much money from you as he can.

I had call this Stephen & Einstein associates and never pick up the phone . Finally they call me back, but they they had another account on file that a was already settled by Tate & kirlin associates.. month ago .. They ware so confused, I didn t tell them what was the other account I was calling about because if they sending me latter and lawsuits papers they should know what Account I m talking about .... I send them a email and I m waiting for the answer

I'm assuming that most people don't like this place. I was super mad myself because my bank defaulted on my loan and not me lol. When the rep read the facts he was very understanding. And I didn't get gouged on payments.

Stephen Einstein Associates is by far one of the worst collection attorneys not only in New York City but also in New York State. They will do anything to get their money, I mean anything. They will go as far as hell to force you to pay for something that has been collected and settled in prior years by the original creditors. Their favorite collection agency is working with Midland Funding, LLC. They asked me to have the gold in my mouth removed to pay for a debt I did not owe them or anybody else. You will rot in hell with your friends, like OJ Simpsons attorneys.

Wow thanks everyone for your complaints, I'm dealing with them now,I'm due to make a payment in 2 days, now I know what to look forward to I wouldn't give any stars if u where able after reading all these complaints, I guess I will find out in 2 days, if I'm going to have the same problems uggg, SO NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS, I HAVE AN ILLNESS, WHERE IM NOT SUPPOSED TO STRESSED, I GUESS I SHOULD LOOK FOR A LAWYER JUST IN CASE

So after looking at everyone else's comments I will share mines. They sent a judgment letter to an address that I do not live at and was able to persuade a judge to grant them a garnishment on my paycheck of $241 every 2 weeks. When asked what address they sent the judgment to they admitted sending it to an address that is not even my own and said basically do what i have to do to attest it. Luckily I am law enforcement and can afford a good lawyer to file a suit against them, cause this is ridiculous.

When I checked my checking account it had a hold on it for the full amount. The amount included my paycheck that just went in and my dads social security check. All my bills were set up to be paid. I called the bank to find out that this company garnished all my money. We had one outstanding debt that our lawyer was handling. Left several messages no one called back. The next morning when we contacted them they realized they made a mistake. We called our lawyer who called them to tell them to immediately correct their mistake. They made sure they took their money we settled with plus charged $125 in court fees. Now I have to pay $100 late fee to my mtg company plus bank fees for returned check. It is now a week later and I still don t have money put back into my account. We have gone all week without picking up dads prescriptions or buying food. Its totally rediculous that we are suffering for their mistake. This company SUCKS. NOT SURE HOW THEY SLEEP AT NIGHT. VERY SAD. They don t even deserve one star

If it were possible I would like to rate this company at a negative 5 star. Not only do they have terrible customer service but they do something even worse, garnish checks from people that have nothing to do with the settlements they're involved with. I will likely end up using this company as they've been garnishing my partners checks for almost a year in error. We've tried calling this company every day for past few weeks, gave them all the info that was needed for them to make this situation right and so far nothing. We've recorded every conversation from them, the first person we spoke with said oh yeah this happened before. Like seriously if you make the mistake to garnish from the wrong person and haven't done anything to correct the situation in a timely fashion, which they haven't, they don't deserve to be in business. I'm looking for other people who have gone through the same experience to get in touch with so we can file a class action suit. This is completely unacceptable and we will not tolerate!! I'll be checking reviews and have confidence it won't be difficult to find others in same situation as us. Thank you in advance to anyone who is willing to file claim against this company.

If you heard of Mel S Harris and Associates, most of that staff is with these leeches. Hopefully they fall fate to the same as Mel S Harris and Associates. I am sure a class action suit is in their future.

They finally called me back after me calling and getting no response. We were able to come to an agreement but it s really on their terms it wasn t like they even cared if it were something you could even afford, especially at a time like this. I m not working right now and I underwent 2 surgeries so I can t lift and my job requires lifting. There s a pandemic and people are falling behind on bills. I just believe this is savage like behavior to go after people and take advantage during this time when people are struggling through something they had no control over, but hey money money money is all they care about. GOOD LUCK TO ALL DEALING WITH THEM!
