Best Western Hotell Halland Review

Poor service and not great rooms and poor and little food

A hotel that can be recommended! Centrally located, close to everything Kungsbacka has to offer. Stylish and neat rooms (the little guy who is eight months old even got allowed to crawl around on the floor in the hotel room). Friendly and service-minded staff who are wholeheartedly committed to finding our lost things. These are things that are appreciated by careless hotel guests.

I look forward to staying at Hotel Halland, always taking my family with me so that we can experience Kungsbacka after my meetings.

The worst organized hotel i have ever visited firstly they issue more parking vouchers than they have parking spaces available so for the second day we had to find alternative parking even though we got a ticket for parking our whole stay. Second the breakfast staff are too slow cleaning of the tables and refilling empty trays.

They told us we got an upgrade.. But if this is upgrade i dont wanna know what standard is

The price of the room was far too expensive given the extensive renovations. The fact that the ventilation was down meant that the rooms were unbearably warm. Had the hotel a functioning fire alarm? The cords hung loose in the reception area and the breakfast dining room. With these shortcomings you might have to keep closed.

Nice hotel with well equipped rooms. Nice newly renovated bathroom with large shower. Nice and clean in the room except the headboard that was of fabric and had a lot of hair on it. The stairs between the floors had large dusty daughters throughout their stay. Free parking. Breakfast Sunday was very chaotic. Some youths worked your life to clean and refill your food / drink. Good breakfast when everything was filled. Youthful and pleasant staff.

Silverfish in the room and a loose toilet. Okay breakfast.

Nice room in the newly renovated part. Cool pop art on the walls. Comfortable beds. Slightly narrow just between bed and TV but ok (standard room). Cleaning staff missed our disk one day. Welcome chocolate and coffee / tea in the room. The fixed hair dryer and soap container in the shower are good. Awesome detail with glass pane from bedroom to shower. Are life magazine (newspapers) available to borrow in the room. Very nice receptionist who catered for all our special requests. However, no reception at night. Good breakfast buffet with slightly different dishes. However, we lacked waffles or pancakes. Evening entertainment in the restaurant we just saw but didn't listen to.

Too little staff (stakes judgment that worked them did everything to make it work, the managers should have worked)

Very good hotel, staff and breakfast. The location is in the middle of Kungsbacka, close to everything.

A bit of noise from the train and the street after 11 pm but it worked.
The room was very good as well as the cleaning was super.
New reception which the hotel really needed and which will be good for the hotel and the guests.

The restaurant has also received an update with my great enthusiasm and that the food has also become much better. All the best.

Newly renovated rooms but no air conditioning & bad with free car parking.

Breakfast is very good and the rooms are clean but very basic and not too big. Hotel is centrally located, but not a highlight.

Totally ok hotel solved problems with broken elevator quickly. Different sessions for breakfast solved the congestion risk.

Only hotel here in the center. Fairly old but currently it is being modernized which is positively improving!

Nice, big and clean rooms. Can't really say anything about the food since they were renovating the entire bottom floor when I was here. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Nothing special but clean and fresh. As it is the only hotel in town, no more is required. The location at the train station means both smooth communication - but also noise disturbances at night. There is no ac in the rooms, so on warm nights you would prefer to have an open window.

Have been to a job related conference there and got a delicious lunch

The room was perfectly okay. TV did not work, casting with Chrome did not work.
Although I pointed this out, I was not offered any compensation. A little bad ...

Boring outside but very nice hotel inside!
We got a very good room with tv, fake fireplace, waterboiler, coffee and tea. A very comfy bed and a nice view. Chokolates on the bed and on the table.
A little bit puzzled by the window from room to the bathroom?
There was a curtain on the roomside. Sometimes you need a little privacy!

Reached the hotel late at night. We opened the door with a PIN. Subsequently, retrieved the room keys from a box again with another PIN. Comfortable and functional although room was quite compact.

The hotel was still under construction when we arrived. It should have been completed one month. for. The breakfast consisted of a plastic wrapped fine baguette w / cheese and ham, cornflakes (which dirty workers got rid of with their hands, coffee (empty), tea, banana, apple, yogurt and croissant. with filling in 5 bananas, then he had to go out and come in with 3 baguettes, then came coffee, then came some apples, then there came 2 baguettes, ..... And so it kept on. loudly and everything was just chaos, we tried to talk to the girl at the front desk, but she was just sad and crying, this hotel I recommend no one to visit.

Good breakfast, good bed, best western hotel in central location. Right on the Kattegat bike path. Restaurants around the corner, shopping center with super 6 minutes walk
