I was a client of the agency many years ago. It was here that I first experienced what safety, hope,.and trust felt like. I also began to discover and work with memories of trauma. It was here where I learned to practice self reflection and self trust as well as self compassion. Most importantly however I learned that there is life after trauma. I am very grateful to the agency for the.help they.provided and I would definitely recommend them to any woman who finds herself in need of their services.

Staff are so incredibly kind and friendly. Such a comforting, safe environment which is exactly what the people visiting need. Thank you for existing.

I had undiagnosed mild PTSD. for 4 decades. sleep problems. and recurring depression. my therapist was trained in trauma and helped me to realize what happened in my brain! to be kind to me and
never belittled my pain!!!
the sessions were free as i could not afford anything and the secratary was always welcoming and nice.
i wish my older lady therapist could still be my aunty but i remember her love.

Amazing, wonderful place for those that need. I hope programs like this become more widely accessible and more frequent. The purpose behind the centre and the team who make what seems impossible possible give the Laurel Centre its Heart.
