Great night view from the room. Staff very helpful and friendly. Sumptuous breakfast!

Overpriced for the quality of service, overall aura and quality of the room that we got even thought we paid for the upgrade to executive floor. Food was very expensive yet below of the average quality of typical 3 star hotels in Shanghai. During breakfast time we had to deal with construction noise and nobody from staff seemed to be concerned with the interruptions.

I really liked this hotel. We did our global summit in this hotel and was absolutely the best. Meeting rooms are nice and well equipped, executive lounge and roof top bar are really nice. highly reccommended.

Local taxi driver told me the air is fresher here, probably due to the reason that is closed to a river!
Room is spacious and clean!
Buffet breakfast is delicious!
There's a small park nearby !

The Staff at the Marriott Luwan is fabulous! Always to help and serve the guest. Especially good service in the Executive Lounge. All Staff there assist and serve guests well, even at busy breakfast and evening times. And what a view of river and Shanghai city!

Amazing service. We left our room at 5pm one day and the cleaning staff still managed to get to it. The staff in general were extremely helpful. We used the concierge services about 20 times.

Hotel facilities are relatively new, the price is relatively affordable in Shanghai Marriott because of the location. The surrounding area is relatively deserted, and the likes of the lively may be slightly biased. Fortunately, driving by yourself

I love the breakfast buffet. They have Western food, Southeast Asian, Chinese, etc. I love that they have a separate area (within the dining area) for the authentic Chinese food. You can choose from dumplings, noodle, rice porridge, and many more.

The rooms are clean, comfortable, and big. I love the bathroom :)

The rooms are beautiful and the view is good. I wonder how old the front desk is.
Good access to the bay area such as the Dragon Museum of Art.
A short walk will bring you to a local restaurant area.
It was a bother to get it corrected as there were several mistakes in the reservation relationship.

Excellent hotel, appropriate to its level. On the ground floor, on the way to the elevators, there is an ATM working with mastercards and visa cards.

Great rooms and pleasant staff. If you can, try to get the upgrade to the suites they are unbelievable!

Nice hotel. Location is good for foreign men who don't want to be hassle when stepping out of the hotel . But it is not near to shopping area. Also those rooms facing the river will be subjected to noises from the ships in the morning.

Superb service, and the cleaners are also very attentive. Seeing that I have a need (what happens to girls every month...), I will give more hygiene bags. The shower agent is about to run out and I will add it voluntarily The one who helped me clean the bathtub every day (; ;)

The breakfast buffet is also very rich, especially remember that the waiter sister saw that I can t pick up the pastry and come and help me ( `)

It was updated on the Riverside side, but the view from the room was just one. The room was clean and good. (October 2018)

The hotel is very very good. Everything is clean, modern and efficient. For me there is a big beautiful room to see the huge Shanghai Bund. The spa is great and the great gym is great food. The bar is good but can be improved to make it more interesting but there are not enough Shanghai bars. If you want a five-star Shangri-La then offer it the most honest I feel.

Nice new room, concierge is also very helpful. If you do massage in the hotel, beware it is not part of hotel and the Payment cannot be put to the room bill.

not bad. located at the other end of a busy attraction Tianzifan, yet sitting by a harbour. clean & tidy gym room, clean & temp controlled swimming pool.

Clean and well managed Marriott Hotel at the newly developed shore of the South Bund, with best in town jogging and cycling tracks. The Metro is in acceptable walking distance. No big road directly next to it, therefore relatively quiet. Gym is equipped with everything one would need, the pool area is clean and not crowded. Staff is friendly and professional. Hotel is absolutely recommendable.

Nice river view and really quite at night. The hotel location is for the person who would not like to shop or crowded city space but just wants to take a good rest with good view.

Located on the Huangpu River, the face of the River Room is beautiful, about 1.5 kilometers from the Expo Museum, you can look at the Chinese Art Palace on the other side, just about the nearest subway station.
