Great shows, beautiful building and wonderful views. HOWEVER.......some of the meanest, rudest ushers I have ever met. We've been going to the Christmas Chorus for years and every interaction with these people has left a bad impression on me and my family. Being in the customer service business I would expect better. Be nice or quit!!

I had the pleasure of seeing 2 shows in 2 separate evenings this past weekend. On both occasion's I needed assistance and recieved nothing short of exceptional service from the special police at the center. Both Officer Clark and Officer Heinz were absolutely amazing. Not only were they personable but they were very well informed and had the answers to my questions. Thank you both for making my experience at the Kennedy center the best it could be!

Lovely building with lots of history and art. I went on a school field trip with a my son a few weeks ago. We saw the 'Me....Jane' play. While the play was good on some accounts, the tour was not. We were shuffled around then finally put with a tour guide whom seemed more interested in getting us out of his hair. We found out from other groups that their tour went on several other places in the building while our small group of 9 only went to once place before our tour guide dumped us off at the cafe'. We were told we would see the presidential suite and the amazing chandelier, we only show the Opera House for 10 minutes. The tours are not consistent and not organized. $30 wasted on a school field trip to see the cafe'.

Always a pleasure to be there
Good show and food was OK. WORTH a walkthrough even without a show. Can have an entire meal. Advance reserve parking online is a nice feature. Can borrow earphones to improve show sound.

"Lyrics From Lockdown" is a fantastic production about how one person ends up in our justice system without committing a crime. It is a story and experience shared by too many in American, particularly those that are Male of African descent, or African American or Black American. There is something in the performance for every one. This show is for all ages, because we can all learn to help make wrongs be made right.

I've attended many performances at the Kennedy Center. They are well organized and of superior quality. One of my annual favorites is the "Let Freedom Ring" performance sponsored by Georgetown University on MLK birthday. Don't miss it! And best yet? It's free!

A beautiful venue; carefully pay attention to road closures due to construction- I was late 30 minutes to a show because I had to drive around and in a different direction to get into the parking garage.

I absolutely love the architecture of the building and it s theaters! Our tour guide Caryn was extremely knowledgeable on the building and the art inside as well. Definitely a place to visit for tourists in the area, and locals alike!

Easily one of the best places to watch a variety of entertainment. I've been to the KenCen dozens of times now, and I've yet to have a bad seat (and that's saying something considering that I usually sit in the balcony). I am also glad that they don't allow you to bring food/drink into the theatres, which is the only downside I have with going to the Warner Theatre. The Kennedy Center is always very clean, and I pretty much always walk out the back side of the KenCen to take in a view of the Potomac River.

The Kennedy Center is always a delightful experience. The historic arts center hosted the Black Girls Rock kick off DJ battle featuring MC Lyte and award creator, Beverly Bonds. The event was phenomenal! The porters were friendly and maintained order, coat check was easy to retrieve and the drinks, though higher than the city average, were strong and premium.

I love this theatre space! I come here at least 3 times a year for orchestra, ballet, and Opera performances. Definitely check out the rooftop restaurant for brunch. It's fantastic! Also you can catch beautiful views of the city as you walk around the large wrap around balcony.

This is an amazing place with amazing music that is for free at the Millennium Stage. I love how you can just pop in and show up to whatever's playing that day without advance reservation and simply enjoy the music. Then, you can enjoy the rest of your evening (the free shows start at 6pm every evening). And parking has never been an issue, because I've always just parked near by with no hassle. I highly recommend the Kennedy Center.

The atmosphere was electrifying! The ushers, parking attendants, security and vendors were professional and courteous. I really enjoyed Ms. Diana Ross performing her new and legendary ballards. And her numerous wardrobe changes. It was simply Fabulous!!

The Millennium Stage is a great cultural asset to the community. Seriously, check out this free venue that occurs every day at 6pm. It's almost like a hidden gem for the DC area. Come early for close proximity seating, our hang out back for easy access to the wine and beer bar. There's also a close metro station and bikeshare station nearby.

Wasted $200 on "Book of Mormon". I don't understand the hype at all. This play used pop culture and outrageous words/ songs to cover for a lack of actual compelling storyline or message. Wasn't funny at all.

We saw Phantom here. The grounds are themselves nice fora visit, with nice views of the Potomac River and Georgetown. The Millennium Stage, with its free performances, is a nice touch. There are two restaurants here, one of which is a cafeteria style layout, the other a sit-down place. We didn't venture into the sit-down restaurant, but the food in the cafeteria looked very good. We had already eaten before arriving, but would have ordered something otherwise.

As for the show itself: Excellent. Nice seating, clean theater, attentive staff, wonderful music.
