Lovely place. There are concerts held every day almost. The ticket price varies but there is one free concert for public at around 5:30 pm EST everyday. Check on internet before you go. I attended one "The Italian Band" and it was amazing. The ambience , the atmosphere, the Kenedy center is next to Potomac river so view of river and Georgetown waterfront is mesmerizing. But concert is really nice one should attend and especially when you get a chance to check it out for free.

The Kennedy Center is magnificent. Pure Class.

If you take a cab or ride share to the venue they will open the car door for you when you arrive.

There is parking under the center if you are driving.

All employees are super helpful and very courteous.

Somewhat decent food is avaliable, and there are a few gift shops inside.

My first time at the Kennedy Center was for my high school graduation in summer of 93. Since then I have seen many shows here, my all time favorites being Nas performing Illmatic with the NSO and Kinky Boots.

It doesn t matter how many times I come here I get amazed and impressed over and over again.

I wish it had better food options.

Been to several shows here and each one has been great. I really wish I had the money to go to more of them. I don't normally buy anything in gifts shops, but the one here has some really unique Christmas stuff which was cool.

Parking is $23 dollars for a week night event but it was quick in and out of the under ground parking garage so you are protected from the weather and the performance was excellent! As you would expect, the drinks are expensive but they sell a lidded reusable plastic cup that you can bring back and buy discounted drinks at future events; very green! The staff are plentiful and very helpful in finding your way around and to your seats.

Great venue, especially the free shows that they put on. There is a free show every single night if the year at 6pm. They are great! Admittedly, most of there acts are local talent, but I have never been disappointed by what I have seen! The other shows are even better! I have not seen them actually there, but have seen the same shows at other locations. Would love the opportunity to see more here.

Even if you don't attend an event, be sure and take the doecent tour. The building history is educational, the building is stunning, and the information you receive on how the system operates is amazing. So much history just oozes out that you move this up to a top 10 stop in DC. PS......metro to Foggy Bottom stop and free suttle put you right in front.

What an incredible gift inspired by the Kennedy Foundation! There are multiple theatres varying in size, and special rooms dedicated to other countries. You can take a self-guided tour, but I recommend contacting your senator to schedule a guided tour. Aside from the rotating shows, they offer complimentary concerts most evenings also. It's easily accessible from the Metro and offers stunning views from the rooftop.

Honestly, it doesn t always feel that DC even deserves the Kennedy Center. It is consistently able to put on Broadway scale productions and draw world renowned talent. Millennium Stages offers free shows daily. The space is massive and it s just cool to be there in an indoor space as physically large as it is. Nothing quite like it.

The Kennedy Center provides the Washington, DC community with excellent access to all forms of performance, particularly music. Hosting both one of the nation's best symphony orchestras and opera company, a Saturday night here will infuse your soul with culture!

Phenomenal performance of "The Book of Mormon". I was truly amazed at how under dressed some people were at this beautiful facility. Restrooms were clean and easily accessible. Drink prices were on par with most theaters. Overall a wonderful evening.

The venue is great! Well done, inviting, great seats everywhere. Tonight we saw Aladdin. The show was amazing. The set was incredible and very well done, the costumes were outstanding, and the acting and singing were very good as well. My only complaint about the show was that it felt like the first half was a little drawn out, and the second half a little bit rushed. I would have liked to have seen the part at the end where Jafar gets turned into a genie to have a little bit more depth to it. But all in all it was an excellent show and if I were Cisco and Ebert I'd give it 9 out of 10. Go see it you'll enjoy it!

The JFK Center for Performing Arts is as good as it gets when it comes to a world-class venue. It s centrally located, accessible by public transport/bikeshare, has great views over the Potomac, and has impeccable interiors.

If you have an event, come early and come hungry. The cafe/lounge is lovely and the view from the terrace is to die for. Don't be afraid to ask for help finding your theatre. There are a few and the signage isn't great.

I love the new and diverse direction in programming at the KC. I saw two phenomenal shows this summer featuring Gregory Porter and then Raphael Saadiq and Ali Shaheed Muhammad brought their magic to the stage.
