Beautiful performance space, with all kinds of free performances

Excellent performance "On your feet". Excellent customer service at Kennedy Center as usual.

An elegant and iconic venue with a great variety of shows. Still as fresh and glamorous today as it was when it was built.

The daily free 6pm performance was awesome and we enjoyed walking outside for all the views !

Wonderful, Anastasia is a marvelous Fantasyland, great dancers fabulous sets and costumes. Happy I was invited to see it

We went to see The Color Purple. The building is wonderful. My favorite part was the terrace and views. There was a lady in the Hall of Nations that was very helpful. There was an impatient woman at the concession stand so I subtracted a star. The play was a great experience, we had a very good time.

The Reach Festival was awesome with performances by the Mellow Tones, Afro Blue, Soloman Howard, Renee Fleming, Angelique Kidjo and Jason Moran.

I know it leaves some people cold, but I love the architecture of this classic landmark. And of course the shows are great. Pro tip: save $$$ on parking, take the free shuttle from the Foggy Bottom metro instead.

Whether you are coming to see a show, or find yourself in the area and want some great views and a (possible) free show at the millenium stage, this venue is amazing! Can't wait to check out the new additions soon!

An evening at the Kennedy Center is always delightful

The NSO Coffee Concerts at 11:30 am are a fabulous way to enjoy the symphony. Add breakfast at Campano across the street at The Watergate and it is a win all around!
Little traffic to deal with coming or going is a blessing.

Ordered tickets online and there was plenty of friendly help to point me where to go to see the show (it was my first time here). Paid for the parking online and was super easy parking and leaving. I would note that the pickup line near the entrance after the show was more challenging/time consuming than just leaving from the parking lot. It was a great experience though and I will be back in the future.

Aladdin was fabulous

The prices at the cafe are high, but it's convenient since there aren't a lot of restaurants around there.

I am so excited and honored to be able to sing on this stage.

Stunning waterfront view and extremely spacious. The two gift shops are quaint, and the musicians who perform here are reason to go as often as possible.

Wonderful venue, excellent music and plays. Great for dates, families, everyone. One of the very best parts of DC.

Excellent Annual Christmas Jazz Concert. Highly recommended.

Saw an improv show from second city. The theatre was wonderful and the production was very funny. The terrace is an amazing view at night.

Excellent place for a school field trip! Beautiful entrance!

The cast was very talented but the last time I saw the same play there the scenery was changed as the play developed! I couldn't understand why we paid so much for the tickets and the same scenery the entire play! I hope that the cast got it!

Historically significant performance center with fantastic staff.

We were in the Opera House for a matinee showing of Aladdin today. As usual, pre-paying for parking in the garage was cheaper & very quick and convenient, with easy in & out. The KC Cafe isn't particularly cheap or fancy, but it is quick and has a very wide selection - everything from chips/cookies/munchies to premade salads & sandwiches to hot buffet entrees, as well as coffee & wine bars. Seating rows are more spacious than places like National Theater; folks can scoot by without you having to stand up. Acoustics are pretty good - music and singing were great, and we could catch most of the spoken wordplay. Overall an enjoyable experience that keeps us coming back for season packages. As a show, Aladdin was fun, and better than I expected, given the Disneyification of the soundtrack. Lots of tricks, jokes, and special effects (including strobes & pyrotechnics). The Genie stole the show - Major Attaway was fantastic.

Great venue. Very thankful for the opportunity they give to DCPS kids to perform every year.

Pretty. They host many many events. Some further parking garages offer free shuttles to the center check out spot hero. Or pay the premium of the on site parking garage. The place is clean, lighting, and sound.

Depending on the event it can organized better but I typically do the free family dad stuff.

Here for a show and award ceremony in the Terrace theatre. The place is beautiful. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Beautiful, Elegant. Expensive parking. Purchase ahead of time. We forgot to take our limousine.

Great programs for children, even during the week days, families and adults. Parking will be much easier once the construction is finished.

Multiple venues. Overlooks Potomac. Discounted tickets only in person at Box Office.

This ballet was more like modern dance

CHUCK Brown Band Performed at Kennedy Center. HALL OF Fame.

Beautiful building adorned with JFK quotes and facts about his life. There is a hall with all 50 state flags hanging from the ceiling. It looks like there are a lot of free or low cost performances offered there. I saw Aladdin at the opera theater, and the theater was great. There were restrooms right outside the theater, multiple entry and exit points, and the theater had a beautiful ceiling.

Love this place, fancy, sophisticated and full of wondering presentations and events to see all year around. Some are free and some have a fee.

I will always have a special place in my heart for the Kennedy Center and all the incredible shows that I have seen there over the years!! Please continue to support and promote art!

They were there for the Peace Corps event. What a fabulous event what a fabulous place!

What a marvelous institution. If you are ever in Washington D. C., I highly suugest you catch a show while you're in town.

The perfect evening at The JOHN F. KENNEDY CENTER with my daughter. The Alvin Ailey Dance Company's performance was phenomenal!

The performance was absolutely fantastic, it was a true blessing to have been a participant....

Terrific performance ...principals were excellent..great acting scenery orchestra amazing...lighting in act 3 wow! Better than some Metropolitan Opera I have recently seen. Brave...!!!

I love seeing shows at the Kennedy center. They have a good selection of performances and even the cheapest seats provide a good view. They also have a little bus that ll take you to and from the metro, which is nice.

Saw Hamilton here. The seats were comfortable and the sound was great.

It's been my dream since I was little to attend a performance at the Kennedy Center and it did not disappoint! The theatre is stunning and the National Symphony Orchestra along with the group Black Violin were absolutely phenomenal!

Saw the music man last year. Great theatre. Broadway center stage program has been getting better every year.

Have a wonderful time each visit and the staff is always so helpful and friendly!

Went to go see my 1st ballet and it was wonderful. Love going to this place.

First time at The Kennedy Center. Beautiful theater!

Excellent shows. Every day a free event. Has a free shuttle to the subway.

Have seen many plays, musicals and ballets here. This particular visit was to see Handel's Messiah. Got last minute cheap seats so they weren't particularly great but still able to hear and see everything. Good acoustics even when on the high boxes. Crowds move in and out of the main theatre well. Drinks on the expensive side but as expected for such a location. Easy to park if you get there early but escaping is a nightmare.

My high school band and I went here on our DC trip to watch the play Shear Maddness and it was one of the greatest experiences i have ever had, the play was amazing and so was the cast.

Staff is amazing, especially AJ, she went above and beyond to help my friends and I. A little chilly, great performance by players for The Color Purple.

Don't just come here to watch the show. Go up to the Terrace level before the show and enjoy the magnificent view of Washington monuments, Georgetown and Potomac River. We are so fortunate to have such a fantastic setting where one can enjoy the sceneries as well as great performing arts.

The beauty of the architecture and views is inspiring and calming. The shows are top notch. I can do without the snooty patrons who have no patience for the elderly and handicapped.
