Beautiful rooms and friendly staff. Food is very delicious and the bar has nice craft beers too.

Front desk staff was exceptionally courteous, and the room was at to be expected.

Stayed there for a basketball game and had the best service of anywhere I've been.

I attended the ISE Alumni Banquet and the food was quite good

Everything was very clean including the bathrooms and the attention to detail was appreciated

My husband and I had never been to Blacksburg and decided to see the famous campus. We opted to stay at the Inn and were so impressed with the excellent service, comfortable bed, overall cleanliness, and room design. It was a treat and wonderful change from chain hotels.

Amazing hotel! I attended an event here and all the amenities were amazing. Venue was beautiful and sort close to VT. The staff we interacted with was super friendly. I would definitely hold my event here in the future

Easy to find, lots of parking, and an excellent ballroom for our meeting. Very cool to be right on the VT campus too.

Great experience! very clean and staff really polite, king, generous and helpful. I will stay there because the great hospitality from all the employees that work there including the restaurant. Drivers from Shuttles are amazing!! they help us a lot and they were happy to do so.

This is an expensive place for a few drinks and dinner with friends. The catering service is average but the facility is very nice

Nice place, but Virginia Tech uses the conference center, alumni center, and ballroom for a lot of their events so the lobby/front desk area is super crowded a lot of the time. If you're looking for a quiet place, this isn't for you.

A great place to plan events of all sorts of occasions, whether they're for reunions or weddings. You're sure to have a classy Hokie time at the Inn at Virginia Tech.

The setting for the Inn is beautiful. My husband and I were guest from June 11-14 and love the location but the service was unexpectedly lacking. And I am taking in to consideration all the changes due to Covid 19. There is NO room service unless you request it. Which I did after the first day, because I was not told when we checked in that you had to request room service the night before. Long story, short the second day No room service. On the third day we got minimal service. No new soaps, no straightening the bed when the trash was emptied no new bag in the garbage can, no new paper cups. I will say the young man at the front desk did bring us new towels on the second day. When we checked out I told the young lady at the front how we were disappointed in the service since we had never experienced this before while staying there. She just nodded and said she was sorry. I am sure the manager was there with her and he looked up from the computer and continued with his work. Maybe if we had experienced this in the past while staying there it could have been expected of course if this had been a prior experience we would not have gone back. Very different, everyone just going through the motions and really just do not care. This is not what you think of when you think of Virginia Tech. I do not like to be negative but you pay good money to enjoy a beautiful place when you are on vacation.

My family and I went to see the Christmas tree display. We were greeted by the front desk staff when walking in. It was pleasant.

The inn was very beautiful and it's very close to campus.

I went here for Dinner at Preston's. The appetizers were phenomenal, the main course just as good, and the desert astounding. The prices are what you might expect from a higher end restaurant but are well worth it. The staff was very polite and personable. I will be visiting again for future celebrations.

Attended the TPS minisymposium. Food and setting was quite nice. Most of time was spent in the lecture hall which was perfect for the event.

The service and staff were very accommodating for our event. Everything ran smoothly without any problems.

Very nice hotel. I haven't stayed there, but have had good experiences when attending events there or visiting others who are staying there.

Nice clean hotel, friendly and quick check in located at a great University

Still a good hotel, but food service is not stellar at the in house restaurant. We ordered a bottle of vino for the table and the waitress who tried to serve it did not know how to open and serve it. For rooms costing over $300 per night one expects more. Menu is understandably limited but no choices of sides with entree and you may want to ask about inclusions before ordering. Lighting adds to ambience but does not aid one's reading the menu.

Clean, well situated for COVID-19, great accommodations, easy in and easy out.

The service was great and the atmosphere was very unique. This inn has an environment that no other hotel in the Blacksburg area can replicate.

The selection of food was fabulous and it all tasted wonderful.

It is a great hotel for staying at for school visits. It is only a short walk away from the center of campus, which makes it incredibly convenient.

I was in the Cascades conference room on the third floor. They had snacks, water bottles, pens and paper available for us. The sound and video were both good for the presentation and the chairs were comfortable, standard conference room chairs.

I went for a banquet and the service was great. Everyone was super clean and I was impressed with the atmosphere of the entire place.

The inn is beautiful this time of year with all of its lovely decorations and special trees submitted by different businesses and organizations. It's a beautiful big hotel with lots of wonderful events.

This is a great place to stay. The building is always clean. The staff is friendly. I've stayed here once with my parents and I had no complaints.

I've stayed there for one night before, and the rooms are very nice. However, the main reason I go there is for their restaurant, Preston's. Their food, although slightly pricey (over $20 for an entree), is very good as well as their service.

Good place to blow $7,000 on a departmental banquet. Pricy rooms not worth the amount asked for.

Great location for roaming around campus and downtown Blacksburg, and the hotel and grounds have the great Hokiestone look to match. Rooms were nice, sufficiently spacious, and clean, and the staff was friendly. Would certainly stay here again.

I went to a conference here. The attention to the detailed was a phenomenon. The salines are very comfortable and well lit; the food provided better than anticipated; and everything very well organized.

Brunch food was excellent and the service was attentive and pleasant.

I stayed 4 nights here for a conference. No complaints whatsoever! Loved using the complimentary shuttle to get around!

Love this place, will stay here again the next time my parents are in town. They have a shuttle that you can request to drop you and pick you up anywhere in a 3-mile radius(so, most of Blacksburg)

It's a very nice hotel. I was at a professional event and it was fantastic! The service was great and was led by student at Virginia Tech which was not something you see every day!

Nothing fancy about the rooms here (at least, not the low-end rate room that we got), but you can't beat the location on the VT campus. The building is great, and there is a lot to explore nearby. The price was competitive with local hotels.

Amazing hotel, superior food service program, excellent conference facilities and very comfortable rooms.

Front desk staff was extremely helpful, set me up with a golf course view room, apples were provided in the lobby. They were also very accommodating about the package I had shipped there in advance, held it for me and helped me get it when I arrived.

The Inn provides a great venue for conferences, and Preston's can be a good place for a date as well.

We stopped by for dinner and food and service was great. It got a little busy eventually, but our food was brought out quickly and was very satisfying.
