The Home Examiner Review

This is our second time working with Steve. He provides the best home inspection service, down to details and very easy to talk to and work with.

Very disappointed. We've used this company before purchasing our current home. The last inspection they did for us did not catch several gas leaks in the basement and garage of our current home.
***Adding to this..also did not catch a leaking skylight/mold in the attic from the leak.
We should have forgone the inspection and saved the money for these repairs! Very disappointed these issues were not caught in the report.
I had called back when we found out about the gas leaks getting missed, but no further response from the company.
*****Additional comments. The gas leak was both in the garage on the wall behind the gas meter/no shelving would have been there. In addition, inside the furnace there was another leak. Also discovered carpenter ant infestation/visible damage on shutters of the house.
*********Additional comments. We found a hole in the foundation under the porch directly leading in to the crawlspace. This was also missed during the inspection. Disappointing that the company has made no effort to offer any % of money back on the inspection.
If you have no recourse on major issues missed during the inspection, what is the point of paying for this service?

Steve did a very thorough inspection and graciously took the time to answer subsequent questions that we had. I would highly recommend him.

Steve was far more thorough than I had expected and found several minor flaws that we were able to bring to the owner's attention and get corrected. I would definitely recommend his firm.

Remember home inspectors are not licensed they receive a certificate from one of many places that offer a home inspection certificate
They came to my house and once they were done he to old me my electric box was dangerous, well I had it looked at and it wasn't dangerous. Remember they only visually look they are not licensed, they need to be careful

We used them to inspect a home we were planning to purchase. He did a thorough job providing pictures and videos of everything he found. There were many things that were not disclosed that were found giving us time to get out of the purchase and saving us so much time, money, and heartache with all the issues we were looking at in the house.

Steve did my home inspection on my first home purchase. He explained everything he was seeing to me; big things that needed to be fixed and small things that I could do to make my new home more comfortable. He answered all of my questions. His final report was detailed and very easy to understand, most likely because everything in his report was discussed in person. And I mean everything! There was nothing in the inspection report that we didn't talk about. Steve made me feel comfortable through the while process.
