Classic old tavern recently refurbished with an addition of a new dining room and kitchen. Old bar remains the same with great outdoor seating and excellent food. Fantastic happy hour from 3-6.

A great place to catch up with a friend/mentor over some lunch and a beer. The Cubano sandwich is great, and the Oyster Sliders are amazingly flavorful. And at the risk of doing yourself minor bodily harm, get an order of the Chipotle Aioli Tater Tots (dang!!!). The service was also very good (thanks to Tyler). Recommended.

My husband and I had dinner here after a day of wine tasting and it was the perfect way to end our night and trip. The staff was friendly and the food was amazing. My husband absolutely loved the Mac and cheese and I was over the moon about their burger special they were running. Plus, sitting by the outdoor fire to finish our drinks after dinner was just the icing on the cake.

Great drinks, really good food. I didn't like brussel sprouts before Hollywood Tavern. Had a few instances which the servers were less than friends. All the bartenders are awesome though. If you can sit in the bar do that!

Hollywood Tavern just re-opened this past month wi...

Hollywood Tavern just re-opened this past month with a complete remodel. It's a decent family establishment with a good drink menu. The food is pretty minimal (4 dinner options), but it is pretty good. I had the tavern burger and my girlfriend had the meatball sandwich. Hers was sloppy (as a meatball should be) but good, and my burger was good as well. Still, for a "tavern" with this many tables for families we expected more options. It's also a little pricey considering the food. Decoration (and music) is very hipster and trendy. They do have a solid whiskey selection and the staff was really nice. Our waitress was really attentive and kind, as was all the staff. Still, while they do have a lot of great local hard liquors, I was a little disappointed to not see more local wines. Not that I came for wine, but if you're going to serve wine in Woodinville it would be nice to see more of the locals. All in all, I only gave it 3 stars because it didn't really stand out to me. It's a great place for a good stiff drink, but... meh. It's OK. Nothing made me want to come rushing back with friends. We'll be back after a while to see how they grow.

Our favorite place for quick apps and drinks. Love the pickle chips and tachos. Good coverage on the drinks menu and plenty of whiskey options. Staff is always friendly, helpful, and attentive. They have a couple really nice fire pits that I'm looking forward to trying out.

Also, they're not a gluten free kitchen, but they've always been happy to help out and make changes to support my wife's allergy. They have a dedicated frier and they're even good about the special requests for gluten free prep on take out. They've never missed anything or had any cross contamination on any of our orders.

I came during happy hour and was pleased to find the tavern buzzing, but not too crowded to get a table right away. The happy hour selection was great, but I could not pass on their Sazerac. It was made perfectly - flavorful and delicious with just the right amount of everything. I will be back!

The pickle chips and Brussel sprouts were great, however the seafood salad was sloppy and hardly had crab or shrimp, and the mac and cheese was watery and bland. The wait was very long and the service was somewhat absent. Funny considering you can see the cooks lounging in the kitchen... when we did get the attention of the waitress she was great and very funny. The drinks were yummy but there seems to be a heavy price tag and a lack of passion for the meals.

Geez.. I wish I had words... we were seated and it took 10 mins just to get water. Then 25 minutes to take our order. Another 10 minutes for our drink and a total of an hour to get 2 simple brunch meals. 8 employees on staff excluding the stuff plus what appears to be a manager, we were mostly ignored during our visit, the hostess was rude to us as she rolled our eyes at me once I asked if it was ok to order before we headed out. We were never demanding, simply ready for a pleasant experience at one of our favorite places. We have now been here for 50 mins and still no food nor anyone to check on us.

I liked this place. It has complimentary valet parking which was a plus. The variety of liquor was great and they had many choices other than whiskey if that's not your thing. This is located in the Woodinville Whiskey Company so I suggest you have whiskey.

Stopped in to grab a drink and try Woodinville Whiskey! We did end up ordering an appetizer of Fried Pickles. For some reason it took a really long time to get them and when they arrived they were in a cute little tin cup with buffalo dipping sauce! However, we were really disappointed in them. There was too much breading and it was hard! We were chipping it off and just eating mangled pickles. Not very good. The drinks we ordered were very good though! I'd definitely consider going back, but will not order the fried pickles again :(

Service and food was great! Just wish we weren't stuck between to 5 tops of drunk a..hole golfers during a pandemic who couldn't stay seated and kept annoying all the other guests. Management tried but these are the frat type who can't be separated. Not the taverns fault. I guess I am not ready to be out in public yet with.

Had such high expectations for this place as the ambiance, location etc is great and it has such potential. The menu is absolutely horrible and the food really stinks. Luckily the bar and drink menu is wonderful so your best hope is to drink excessively and pray you don't notice how bad the menu and food are. Or, head down to where there is really good food in Woodinville now....Commons, Purple (much improved), Woodfired pizza, Red Hook and for a nice night-Barking Frog. Please, oh please, fix your menu. We want you to do well. For a neighborhood spot you need food people will want to eat not just when they are drunk.....

First time ever at Hollywood Tavern. Very busy place, but the workers at the restaurant did a fantastic job running around and making sure everyone was happy. Our server, Michelle, was fantastic. Checking back every 15-20 minutes to make sure we were taken care of. Absolutely fantastic service. Very pricey place (for my tastes), but the food and service are superb. Will definitely come back. Great job, Michelle!

This is a great casual stop in woodenville wine country. The food is way better than Redhook and there's a great beer selection. It's a nice spot to grab a burger and then sample the whiskey flight next door at woodenville whiskey.

This place had good food options, drinks and friendly service. The outdoor space is nice when the weather is cooperating and it's right next door to a whiskey distillery. Pretty crowded during prime wine tasting days so plan accordingly. The happy hour food menu is pretty good too.

Service wasn't bad, but it wasn't busy enough to justify the service we received. All our food seemed to have a sat a bit. The crab cakes were good but not crispy. The mac n cheese was delicious but started to clump before we ate half. The fish and chips is yummy, the chips were phenomenal to my taste, but were a little soggy for most tastes. The fish was good but again it either sat, was poorly drained, or cooked in grease that was just a little too cool. It left the fish inside well cooked and flaky, but tbe breading soggy and way too greasy. The coleslaw was poorly chopped and non descript in its dressing. The brick chicken was well seasoned but dry. The green beans were tasty. The mashed potatoes were decent. It's worth checking out as I feel everything we were served was good, but had perhaps suffered from a dinner rush before we arrived.

I have loved this place since they were a small bar selling Rainier and chips by the bag. In the second iteration I loved the scotch eggs and they were really phenomenal. In their third iteration by new owners things slid towards profit and cost cutting. Their fried pickles are still the best in the Pacific Northwest.

Drinks now are very steep, good bartenders have left, lots of new staff and overall if you want a chicken sandwich for 16 dollars then this place is for you.

Good cocktail selection and the food menu changes constantly, always utilizing seasonal, fresh ingredients. It does seem as if the emphasis on offering great meals with locally-sourced ingredients has lessened significantly since their re-opening.
