Great venue for a wedding. Great service all the way around.

Spent my Christmas night here and it a very nice place to stay.Really nice room, great front desk staff and super nice people all over

Loved this place. The feeling of being here is so calming and joyful. Tranquil atmosphere.

It was good just did not plan on an extra 500 being held on my account.

The room was welcoming and absolutely clean. The staff is really friendly and very helpful.Will definitely come back!

I came in for lunch and to go to the spa with my girlfriend whom I haven t seen in years. The lady at the spa was very rude. She was on her phone and didn t care what I had to say. She s a young lady, I didn t even catch her name. I will never come to the spa in the Herrington ever again. Horrible expierience. As for the rest of the hotel, it was beautiful. The food was amazing and the server was supurb. I will be back to chow down again very soon.

Have stayed here every holiday for eleven years. Usually stay for three nights. Food is fabulous. Room is wonderful. The spa is brilliant! A member of my family is handicapped and in a wheelchair. They are so incredibly helpful to her, that she will stay nowhere else. A wonderful chef and wait staff. The town is great with terrific and interesting reataurants and shops. The perfect staycation!

It was beautiful and such a great weekend getaway from the city! The rooms were really big with great river views. Very romantic and we will definitely be back!

The hotel is beautiful and all of the staff was very nice. We stayed 2 nights on a Saturday and Sunday. My one issue was that our room was located across from the hotel laundry and when they would run the washer the pipes made loud clanging in the walls. I asked the front desk and was told it was from the laundry and that they would stop until the next morning after 8 am, but they started back up again before 7 am. They should really not be renting out this room until they get the pipes fixed. The room itself was large, with nice high ceilings, a beautiful view of the river from the balcony, and very clean. The same can be said for the bathroom with heated marble floors, a nice shower with glass surround, and a huge jacuzzi tub. The turn down service with milk and cookies was another detail that makes the stay so wonderful. The continental breakfast was very good with meat and cheese trays, fruit trays, cereals, hard boiled eggs, and some pastries. We would absolutely love to go back as long as they get the pipes fixed!

Place is awesome.. Clean and luxuriou.. They bring you cookies and milk before bed.. Fireplaces and bidets lol.. And they took my shoes to be polished for free... Awesome stay

The Herrington was such a fantastic romantic getaway location. Very rarely do you find a place in which almost everything was perfect from start to finish. Herrington is a place we'll be visiting again. The location was so central to many shops and just under a 10 min walk to 3rd Street, which has a ton of shops, restaurants, and attractions. I love how when you walk in, you get instantly greeted when you leave for a night in town you are equally given proper farewells. The parking was plentiful outside, and they have their parking lot for guests to park in. The Harrington is right along the river, and it's perfect to open up a glass of wine and listen to the beautiful rushing river next to you on the balcony. I love the Milk & Cookies you are given around 530 pm for turndown service. The continental breakfast was just enough for a quick light breakfast with coffee, muffins, fruit, and juices. The landscaping gorgeous and was perfectly themed in a tranquil, beautiful trance that the Herrington was. I have already booked far ahead in advanced to do it again! Thank you for the wonderfully magical experience.

It was a super clean very romantic place, the staff was super great. The manager was even giving the staff in the restaurant a hand by serving water ( amazing). We will be back there. This place really rock.

Love this place! The hotel is super cute! The staff is very friendly. Downtown is super quaint with a lot of 1 of a kind shops. I look forward to the milk and cookie and turn down service!

Luxurious girls trip with my daughter. Beautiful setting and a special treat for us. We had a courtyard room on the first floor and enjoyed being able to walk into the garden and watch the birds on the Fox River. Loved the ambiance!

Very nice accommodations and the room was a lot nicer than I expected for the price! Great views, even from the "backside" of the Fox River. Right downtown where all the shops are. The included breakfast was a bit disappointing. They told us the hours when we checked in, and we got there an hour before breakfast was over and everything was picked through and they weren't going to restock it. The little bit we did get was good, but we ended up having to go out for breakfast.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Booked a massage and give two thumbs up for the incredible job. Staff was welcoming and friendly. My massage therapist was fantastic. Ask for Stan in your next massage and you won't regret it.

Ideal location.

This place is beautiful. My husband surprised me with a stay right after our wedding, we cant wait to come again. Dinner at the Atwater was ap delicious, we both got steaks and they were cooked perfectly. The view of the river is so calming from the balcony and love that it is in downtown Geneva. Also recommend getting massages, the best we ever had. Lastly, your turn down service of cookies and milk.. THE BEST

Nice but noisy at night. No pool and limited room service.

Staff was very helpful and friendly all things considered with covid. Room was very nice and great view. Dinner was amazing. Will go again for a nice night away with my lovely wife.

Attended a private function. Love the room - the brick details are beautiful. The food setup was nice, the bartender was good, definitely like private events here.

A cozy little hotel right on the river that resembles a country bed and breakfast. And fireplaces in the rooms! The price is steep for what it is though. Maybe it's because of the milk and cookies you get every night.

The hotel was not only beautiful but the staff was amazing. My husband and I just got married and went there for a little honeymoon. Not only did the staff answer any questions we had they even send up a plate of chocolate covered strawberries and a very sweet note congratulating us on our marriage. I would suggest this hotel to anyone who wants to experience an amazing experience.

Rooms are misrepresented online. No help was offered to fix the situation. They blamed us for "misinterpreting the room". Spend your money someplace that won't rip you off.

What a sham! Over $300 per night on the summer weekends and way more Shabby then Sheik!! Tired, Tired place.....needs updating badly! The front desk staff seemed angry, the lobby bar guy seemed angry, and the best part? They give you used, ripped slippers to wear!!
Unbelievable! Don't waste your time or your money there..... for the same $$ you can head up to the American Club in Kohler Wisconsin and have incredible service, incredible food and exceptional rooms!!

Checked this place out as a potential event venue. We walked in without an appointment and were given an impromptu tour by the extremely friendly and knowledgable staff.

Fantastic space, friendly staff, clean and unique rooms, perfect location. Highly recommended.

Lee was amazing. She made me feel comfortable and did a great job. I would recommend her to anyone.

Always LOVE spending time with business associates at The Herrington! Staff here are amazing.

I was there for a banquet event and the staff assisting the party were very attentive, the night went very well because of their help.

It is expensive, but the building is beautiful and so are the views. Service here is awesome and they give you milk and cookies at turn down service. Our King had a gas fireplace and a spa. Room was spacious with high ceilings. Only potential concern is that there are a lot of small sets of steps and so doesn't seem to be the most handicap friendly.

All workers were extremely helpful and kind. Very convenient and beautiful.

I went to the brunch. I got the biscuits and gravy, which was delicious. We also got some bloody Mary's with were good. The atmosphere was gorgeous. If I were to complain, it seemed to take a while to get our food.

Had a wonderful time at The Herrington Inn, staff took extra precautions to keep their guests safe in this horrible pandemic. While quite a few things were different - the level of attention to details was outstanding. 5 star rating for sure. Would highly recommend to anyone considering a stay at here.

Amazing experience at the spa! I got the 60min with hot stones. It was the best massage I have ever had and I honestly don't know if I will ever be able to have a massage anywhere else again. I appreciated everything about the experience and will be back.

Love this place every time we visit. Our visit is not complete until we get to see and talk with Hal, the most genuine and authentic bartender you will ever meet. Once you meet and talk with him you will know what we know.

I recently stayed here for 3 weeks and it was an excellent stay. The service is excellent, housekeeping is great, and the rooms are very nice. By far the best hotel in the area!

My husband and I were married at the Herrington Inn and Spa on August 15, 2014. We received so many compliments from the people who attended our wedding. They all centered around how beautiful the venue was... how friendly and professional the staff was...how they never experienced white glove service before... We had tables applauding after being served! Deanne Mitchell and her staff led by Rosie were phenomenal in the preparation and execution of the entire event.

You don't quite know the beauty of this inn and and spa until you see the pictures of the event. The river behind us during the ceremony, the rustic stone walls, and the sprawling staircase all created the perfect backdrop for our wedding.

We stayed at the inn and spa three nights. We have traveled extensively but have never stayed at a hotel or resort that has quite the charm and character that this place has. We will be back each and every year for our anniversary. We are so proud to say we were married and live in the same town as The Herrington Inn and Spa!

Great location, room had a wonderful view, everything was good

The crepes are supposed to be made fresh, big disappointment.

My husband and I wanted a quick getaway for a romantic night away from our newborn- while this inn is a little pricey, it is worth EVERY penny! The staff blew me away. I called and requested early check-in, and while they are usually busy, they accommodated us and gave me a call to let me know. The room we had was a courtyard view but with views of the river as well- breathtaking! My husband and I enjoyed the sunset in bed with the fireplace going and the door wide open while listening to the water from the fox river. Truly magical. Don t forget to eat the Brussels sprouts- OH MY GOODNESS they re heavenly!! My husband gobbled them up and he doesn t even like Brussels sprouts! A++++ just go. Don t even think twice. One night here was enough to invigorate my soul.

Beautiful location and superb food. A gem for the area

A little gem in Geneva. Lovely views of the Fox River from the balcony, Canopy beds, fireplaces, fabulous whirlpool tub. Turn down service with milk and cookies. Their breakfast buffet is free and has lots of tasty pastries, hard-boiled eggs, cereal, bagels, toast, an assortment of teas and great coffee. Romantic for anniversaries and Valentines Day.

Had my daughter's wedding here on 7/21/18. Cannot say enough good things about this venue. Setting is amazing, food was great, service was out of this world. It's like a movie wedding, it's so beautiful. Deanne and Rose (the two wedding coordinators) LITERALLY never left my side the entire night, always checking in, taking the brides veil to her room, etc. It's not as pricey as you might think, you truly get your money's worth at this venue.

Fabulous meal, great atmosphere and attentive service. We will be back!

This reminds me of a castle. It is dim and cozy. The staff are all so calm and ready to simply provide you with great service. The rooms are nice, especially one that overlook the river and have a fireplace. Parking is ample and the artwork is so fun. Spa service is totally cool. They provide the Skinceutical line. I want to go again and again.

Went to Fremont, MI for a family funeral. We stayed at the Harrington Inn and could not have stayed at a better place. Everything from room, staff and the breakfast they have was fantastic. 100% would recommend and we will be back to visit them again.

Very terrible experience. At time of check in no rooms available though checked in another at same time and gave room. Room was not what was reserved. Then upsold is another and charged another $100. Missed first 15 minutes of wedding. Poor customer service. Would not ever recommend this hotel at all.

I've gone 3yrs in a row. The restaurant has phenomenal food. The hotel rooms are quaint yet still have quality luxury bathrooms. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have spa services and the town of Geneva has so many options of things to do out and about for the days of your stay. They do offer a continental breakfast although next year I will be trying Buttermilk (the breakfast restaurant kitty corner from the hotel, walking distance) or even their own offerings of serviced breakfast.

Lovely accommodations. Unfortunately, the owners set off the fire alarm in their penthouse and didn't offer any compensation for the inconvenience.

The experience my wife n I had was magical, especially that it was our anniversary.....
