Actually, I would like to give this facility a five star rating, but while it is a great place to recover, it isn't perfect. After a stroke and 3 weeks in Sunrise rehab, my wife was transferred to The Heights for their skilled nursing rehab More

Oh God my poor cousin has been up in another horrible place. The rating are worse that the one she just left from. If her cancer doesn t kill her these so call rehab center will from all the neglect and abuse they get. I pray god will find the answer for my swerve cousin. I live so far off that I can t afford the plane ticket to go help her.
Grandmother stayed here 4 years ago and it was excellent, don t know what happened but it s like a different place now. Horrible, horrible, horrible. Most of the staff are incredibly rude and treat you as if you are just an annoyance. (You chose this profession) Apparently they don t eat breakfast either. Toast without butter? Oatmeal with no milk or sweetener? Nothing to drink? Wow. The lady in the next room sounded like she was choking to death and no one came to check on her. The place is so dirty it s sickening. I feel sorry for the people who have to be here and the select few good staff. As for the rest of them, they should be ashamed and embarrassed.
The worse rehap i eva been to if i can give them 0 stars that wud be the Best rating for them the place is TERRIBLE ..i mean my 82 yr old grandma was transferred there last Friday an boy let me tell u she rang the thing all night for the nurse NO one came!!remind u she can't walk at the Moment her pain is a 10 they didn't bring her no pain meds"no water"she went without something to drink all night didn't change her soild diaper" neva showered neva checked on her .. O not let me forget they call the police on my Aunt an my Cuzzin (racist) lying on them when they only was trying to get my Grandmother some help .. another patient (chinese) guy went off on them cussing they ass out!! but no they didn't call the police on him... an it goes deeper but the Morral of the Story is dnt put ur Love ones dat u Care about in a place like this where they will be neglected i wudn put my puppy in a place like this .. an we fought hard to GET her out of here they kept tryna get her to make decisions about staying without her family around...But we Finally Got her out of there Tuesday now i can have some kind of relief till she gets home thank you Jesus i wud write a book about this sorry place but their Not Worth anymore of my time!!
My father was well cared for by attentive staff. Not sure what happened with all these negative reviews. It passes the smell test upon entering. The lobby has a calming fish tank. Staff make themselves available to talk though they are very busy. Dad was there a month and I never saw staff not working hard. None of his possessions got misplaced. Overall as good as such an experience could be.
The Heights of Summerlin is my new place of employment. I have worked my entire career in healthcare and can say with certainty that the physicians, nurses, staff and management at this facility is out standing, always going the extra.
The facility live out it mission statement "make a difference, every day, every time"
Not often in life can we say, I love my place of employment and the feeling to go to work daily meet the same level of excitement.
I would like to give special recognition to the front desk staff, the food services department for delivering quality hospitality daily.
I have been at the heights of summerlin almost every day lately and love walking in to the always friendly atmosphere , and Elizabeth at the front. Everyone is really nice and takes great care of my family member, and takes time to talk to you.
This place is horrible! My husband even left on his own accord as they had put him in diapers. He had a bladder infection from it. Nurses are not available and I had to help other patients as they wouldn't !! It needs to be closed. They show nice pictures however Not one person goes to their dining room
The facility is very clean. The best thing about this place is the people! From Elizabeth @ front desk, Jason & Latoya & Ladonna in admin - Nurses Marilyn, Kelly, Karla, Yolanda, Darlene, Ana, Karen, Quan, Barbara, Deborah. Tracy, Anson, Cynthia, Ren, Crystal (the hugmonster), Nicole, Mike & Ramone just to name a few. All of the CNA's - Amaroni, Rodrigo, Am, Barbara, Rowell, Charmaine, Wendy, Lyn, Brenda ... Therapy is really dynamite. Kayla in wound care is always cheerful & very good. I cannot name all the wonderful people at this facility because my memory is not so good but they are all the very best !! Did I mention Linda from nurse station 2? The food is good thanks to chef Lily & Chef Destiny& Grandma & Maria bring joy to the Floral Cafe. Although I am happy to be going home, I will miss the people!
Great staff, great facilities, they took excellent care of our father while he was admitted. Everyone knows that the healthcare industry isn't perfect, but The Heights of Summerlin is very good!
