Don't let yourself get caught in General Admission under the balcony. The view and acoustics are horrendous. Pay the money for an assigned seat and profit.

MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE VENUE! We come from upstate Maine multiple times a year to see a show here. Great prices, great staff and incredible view no matter where you stand. Location is awesome!

I went to see Josh Turner. Wonderful concert. My husband couldn't attend due to work so I thought I would record long black train for him as its his favorite song of josh's. It was the last song of the night and I walked to where I could get a better view. I stood in front of a small wall making sure not to obstruct anyone else's view. A staff member came by and pushed me...? Then kept walking. I went back against the wall and attempted to record again. There he was throwing his arm up with his thumb gesturing to move. I said what is wrong?! He said you need to move! Walk that way!....yelling at me! I was not disturbing anyone around me and I was not obstructing anyone's view as I said. This man ruined what I was trying to do for my husband and also my night out by embarrassing me for no reason other than he was wearing a "staff" shirt and felt like a tough guy. It was a 3 minute song at the end of the night and of the whole venue he decided to choose me to harrass. Others were dancing in the isles not a care about people behind them but that was ok with him. I am writing this in an attempt to make staff more aware of who needs to be bullied for their actions.. and who doesn't. If there is an altercation with concert goers then yes, you step in and intervene . But one woman against a wall with her phone? You're nothing but a jerk. I'll stay home and watch cable. I hope you see this and know you ruined my night with your treatment of me. Unfortunately, you'll be the thing I remember most.

The casino ballroom is Mostly standing room beside some tables in the back or on the sides. It can get pretty crowded. Their drinks are around 7 bucks for on tap beer. I had went to see AWOLNATION here and it was a good time. Don't forget to bring some kind of ear plugs as it can get VERY loud.

This is a great venue. The sound is incredible, got to meet our favorite bands this summer. They don't overcharge for food and drinks, staff is super cool. Love this place, recommend it highly. 5 stars all the way.

Awesome small venue with good prices on beer for a concert venue

Small venue with great views from every angle. Lovely little piece of history, great service from the many waiters/waitresses that come serve drinks directly to your seat. Tons of seating space as well as standing space. Went for a comedy show to see David Spade and it was honestly the best experience!

Wonderful venue for an intimate concert experience. There s really no bad seat in the house. Great acoustics and historical venue on the second floor. The food is a bit lacking all fried. It s basically fair food. But there are plenty of spirits and beers on tap at the two different bars, which serve quickly and efficiently

Went to Joe Perry last night He of course is amazing however the rudest staff by far there were a few that were nice but not what it was like 8 years ago when he played there. Sound quality not the best either i wont go to another show there with assigned seating again bad layout.

Its a dive venue but they get some decent acts and for pretty good prices. Always get tickets above the GA level if you can afford it. Its worth the extra money.

First time visiting the Ballroom, went with a group of friends to see Black Label Society and it was an awesome show. Parking was easy and close by and it didn't take long to clear out after the show.

Awesome place for music! Althougg; Hardly any room to move around! Crowed and very hot inside. Prices for food were high! If there were to be a fire, I think people would be killed.

Small venue easy viewing general seating works great

Sound was problematic. The speaker were so loud they were over driving. Mix made vocals hard to hear. Great facility...for that kind of concert....small enough to be near stage or a great view from the suites upstairs

I love the casino it had a very intimate feel for concerts. The food and merchandise is a bit pricy. There are plenty of accommodations if you choose to stay the night there are great hotels within walking distance and it's on the beach so in the summer it's perfect to walk after the show.

Love this venue. Not a bad view from anywhere. When you exit, you're on the beach. Can't ask for anything more!

Went to go see the Impractical Jokers a few days ago. The venue is horrible! They had people squished in to the point that we were sitting on top of each other. We paid $65 per ticket just to be so squished on the people on either side of us so bad that we wouldn't even stand up at the end to clap for them because our chairs were literally on top of each other. They had 4 chairs at each table where the table was clearly only meant for 2 chairs. Half of the chairs (including ours) were turned away from the stage so we had to try and twist our backs just to look at them (which was both painful and a pain considering how squished we were). There was also NO A/C in the middle of July. The place was so hot in there that it was very uncomfortable. I couldn't believe how many seats they just jammed in the place and expected people to be ok with it!? Also, their building code and fire code has not been updated since 2014 (posted on the wall when you walk in to the right) so that paired with how many people were jammed in that place made me very nervous!
Bottom line: If you can go to a show with general admission or "theatre-style" seating, then MAYBE you can have a MEDIOCRE experience. If it shows seating at tables then RUN AWAY and DO NOT BUY TICKETS THERE. It is so uncomfortable and for the price you pay for the tickets it should be illegal! Shame on the Ballroom Casino for doing that!

Took away the shooting gallery. Was so nice to see and brought back memories.

Love getting up close and personal to the stage but if only they had better fans or ac so you didn't have to melt, it would be perfect!

Low-key, old-school design works perfectly for the beach setting. Multiple bars, and a food stand for concessions. Sitting areas on one end are nice for waiting for acts or getting off your feet. Stage location is a little weird for the shape of the room, but it's high enough that you can see pretty well from most places on the floor. Acoustics could have been a little better. Overall, good place to see a band if you're already nearby (say, at the beach), but maybe not to go out of your way to visit.

The HBCB ALWAYS puts on a great show! Steeped with such history, just being in the room...wow!

One of my favorite places in New England to see a show. Big, open floor, plenty of bar space, and right on the beach.

The place is small for a concert. But in a good way. It's more of an intermittent atmosphere. Which is cool.

I love this place. Kind of a road house vibe with lots of character and history. Drinks are fairly expensive...I guess typical for events like they host here. Great selection of shows...something for everyone.

We had a great time, the prices are not outrageous, but they're not cheap either.
A great venue to go for a concert. But I would recommend getting tickets for sitting at a table.

They stated that the doors open at 6 p.m. it was raining out and very cold doors didn't open until almost 6:30 everybody in the line was very upset I was told by somebody in line that this was the second time that this happened to them since they've been coming here I will not be going back
