Popped in for a drink to jocks bar which is part of greens hotel a strange bar filled with tartan and highland regiment memorabilia seemed a bit dated to me but staff friendly enough and drink wet But wouldn't rush back
A fantastic location for all sorts of sports and hobbies. A once great hotel is looking a wee bit tired. However, this is offset by superb staff, delicious food and a good range of drinks.
Lovely and friendly Hotel. Staff cant do enough for you. Lovely meal in restaurant great portions . Would definitely recommend. Rooms a bit old fashioned but spotless. Enjoyed our stay and will be back .
Great Xmas night out. Room fine and breakfast following morning was fab.
Extremely helpful and friendly staff, especially in the bar where they have a fantastic gin collection! The hotel itself is very tired, with carpets held together with tape, mattresses with broken springs, very noisy floorboards in corridors etc. The food in the restaurant was excellent and well priced, but there were too few staff on duty.

Big rooms,the food is to die for,excellent service,braw staff,we loved our weekend there and I got a selfie with a celebrity who was singing there as well,Maggie Bell.
Great venue when visiting for China Crisis gig. Small and intimate so you can meet and chat to the band. Staff were lovely. Hotel was a little tired, but comfortable.
Nice personel. The rooms are unfortunately very worn and the cleaning lady is unfortunately very messy. The bathroom was unfortunately really dirty and even after several complaints the corners and air were not cleaned. Bed was unfortunately broken. Breakfast was okay, but also better in Scotland. Conclusion it needs a basic renovation. There is no spa. This is closed for half a year
Spent last night here...was fabulous...needs upgraded. ..bit tired..apart from.that was very enjoyable...The food was very tasty ...and the hotel has a nice relaxing atmosphere. .we will defiantly be returning soon.... with our elderly parents. ;)))...
Stayed at the windlestrae hotel. At the time of this review it is a 3 star rating and it more than deserved it. Facilities all good, staff very helpful and friendly, breakfast very nice. Got a great deal so made our stay even better value.

Enjoyed a relaxing day at the Green Hotel. Lunch at Jocks bar was tasty and reasonably priced. The Backstage gig was very entertaining. Stay was complete after a delicious breakfast. Will be back again, soon.
Lovely, homely hotel with great staff. Rooms are a little dated, but adequate for a short stay.
Went for tea and biscuits with family, on Fathers day, so we could treat our Elderly grandfather. The food was food and the staff were brilliant even going so far as to give my grandfather a card from them.
Like stepping back in time - just a gorgeous place, so relaxed and friendly. Staff were exceptional! Food was wonderful! Our room was beautiful! We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return and hope we can soon. Highly recommend.
Decent room. A bit worn but big. Staff are great and meals were excellent. Nice bar but needs more seating for larger parties.
One night stay. Room provided everything I needed. I don' t eat a large breakfast so the charge for this was much higher than I expected. Did not realise I had booked room only online.

All in all we had a lovely time. Very disappointed in pool area. Jacuzzi and hot tub not working and the dirty roadside cones indicating this was very offputting. Poolside needed a good tidy as lots of dirty plastic cups. Basils restaurant in hotel was very disappointing but Jocks was great. Staff all lovely and very hellful.
Very peaceful and relaxing stay meeting family at Christmas. Excellent food, comfortable rooms and pleasant surroundings.
We went here to a live tribute gig. Fantastic night in Backstage..part of Green Hotel. Parking outside Jocks Bar for drinks and a warm comfy welcome for all!

Was here for a gig and a pint so don't know what the quality of the food or the service was like.
Hotel located in front of the Kinross golf course.
Old style rooms without art or part.
Overall comfortable, but not worth the price you pay.
We also ate at the hotel restaurant, but we did not like it. Slow service, very slow. Dishes also quite elaborate, but not too successful ..
Nobody even approached us and when I asked member of staff which arrows to follow to leave she was anything but sweetness and light

Great facilities and friendly ,helpful staff. Massive bedroom with table and chairs. Breakfast good but go early for best choice.Perfect location and can use facilities across at the Windlestrae ehich has a great jacuzzi.
Second time to visit this hotel.....little bit dissappointed this time...Windows locked south facing...Window on the east held open by a waste bin!!! Shower leaking...obviously over a period of time, hence a blue stain on the bath...To boil More

Was ok.... We were curling so it was so convenient.
there is Wi-Fi, but the coverage is very poor. It's hard to believe that I can not receive any signal in dinner room and meeting room, those two locations are important to me, feeling disappointed.
Nice And cosy, clean room. Came with dog and got special bed for her as well! Overall enjoyed and recommend.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was very well catered for.
Had a lovely couple of nights here very spacious room , comfy bed made for a great night's sleep, also had a couple of meals in the hotel food very good. Overall a very pleasant stay will definitely go back and would highly recommend.

But yes I would revisit kinross is lovely and all on a level so excellent for walks and loch leven nearby. Oh and hotel has a backstage for entertainment
Came for my birthday. Staff sang to me and everything. Loved it
Went here for my partners birthday meal with our son. The staff were wonderful and spoke to my son and made him smile and the meal was superb. Really tasty and for a great price and my partner absolutely loved her burger meal.

Lovely old fashioned hotel. Excellent and friendly staff. Rooms clean. Dog friendly. Bar meals great and prices reasonable. Sister hotel across the road has swimming pool. Nice walks nearby.
Had a meal provided by the bar. Macaroni was good. Burger was disappointing not gourmet by any stretch, just a cheap quality processed burger. Chips were under cooked. Meat pie was ok but under cooked veg. All in all nothing special and pricey for what it was.
Backstage at the Green has amazing regular music nights by retro bands mainly .Special hotel rates available if you are attending a gig.
