What an experience. The guild that took us through was very knowledgeable and knew how to work our crowd. We didn't linger to long at particular exhibits and were able to roam around and get a little lost which was fun. The pub was a major highlight and we will definitely be returning.

If you're a fan of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, then you absolutely must visit Hobbiton and the Green Dragon Inn! The detail invested in this building is phenomenal, right down to the Hobbit Ale mugs. Must be seen to be believed!

Omg What a spot!!! We did the night tour our tour guide was Sunny! Honestly the best experience and tour we have ever been on. We where doubtful about it as the day tour we did a few years ago was boring and rushed! But the dinner experience was above and beyond! We have done tours all around the world this was honestly our favourite of them all, thank you to our tour guide sunny and (forgot his other apprentice sorry)

Hobbiton is very beautiful but the visit is a bit too fast for my taste. The affluence makes it impossible to stay longer.
The beer cider and even the lemonade offered at the end is very appreciable especially when it is hot and can enjoy a magical moment in the Dragon Inn.
The visit still lasts 2 hours and the guide compliments the visit of some anecdotes of the film as on the set.

Movie set of the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit with adjoining bar at the end of the path through the reconstructed village, where a series of typical drinks are offered from cider, to beer, to ginger drink, appreciated and enjoyed ... despite the rain!

Brilliant! It's a must to do this as part of the Hobbiton tour; it isn't a cheap addition, but really makes the experience a magical one - and you do get a LOT of tasty food and a free beer/cider to go with the experience.

Nice gimmick in the Shire, per person a drink is included in the entrance fee. However, time is very limited. We had 20 minutes for our beer, but it was not a problem. The beer did not taste so bad.

Nice place, Astonishing! The Green Dragon is cozy, but smaller than you imagine before what we see in the film. I recommend Ginger Beer and Scone brad, sit at a table near the bar, where you can take a beautiful photo with the Green Dragon carved in wood in the background, or even in the armchairs in the fireplace. For those who are fans of Lord of Rings and Hobbit can not miss the opportunity. I advise not to spend too much time with the explanations of the guide and explore Hobbiton (respectfully) advancing until reaching the Green Dragon. During your walk you will have the opportunity to record by pictures all the places of Hobbiton.

The Green Dragon is a highlight of the Hobbiton Movie Tour that takes you through Hobbiton. If you are lucky, you will have someone like myself and my best friend who broke out into song once you have your complimentary ale in your hand.

You can only get here by taking the hobbiton movie set tour. It is the final stop on the tour and I think a lot of people's favorites as they greet you with 3 choices of fine hobbits ale! AND ITS FREE! You're guide let's you stay there for approximately 20 mins or so and it's a nice place to snap a few pictures. Awesome!

A drink is offered at the hostel after visiting Hobbiton.
Very nice. I love the worry of detail present everywhere in Hobbiton and in the inn. Very immersive. We really believe in an old tavern (without tables that stick more;)).
