I went there for the Saudi national day celebration and the hotel is amazing has really good space for a ceremony it s perfect for a wedding ceremony I believe! Also the lobby area it s beautiful too. The area it s big and cozy.
The only thing the front of the hotel under construction so I lost the hotel location when I was going there.

Very good newly refurbished luxury hotel in the heart of Oslo. Location is close to everything you need to see when visiting Oslo. The royal palace, parliament, Aker Brygge, Akershus fortress and so on are all in close proximity to the hotel. The breakfast is worth every penny!
A very pleasant business stay with good service and very nice rooms with a view. The restaurant is recommended, very friendly and attentive staff. Here you are happy to tip appropriately. Would love to come back at short notice.

Do not stay here unless you want to be kept awake until 2:30 am by the rooftop nightclub. Music was blaring until 2:30 am and we had to be up early for a flight. Stay somewhere else if you actually want to sleep.

Fantastic hotel in central Oslo, with great facilities like swimming pool / spa, and one of the best breakfasts in the city. The rooms still suffer a bit from aging, however guess that is part of such an historical hotel.

I was here on the course and it was slowly amazing! Beautiful course room, with chandeliers and ceiling painting Going to the toilet is an experience in itself Lovely cuts and cakes for lunch. And so the location is absolutely perfect!

5-star hotel, large and very comfortable room, bathroom with underfloor heating and first-rate products, consistent with the level of the hotel. Very well located with excellent service and a very complete breakfast. Just be careful with the breakfast time, when you give the scheduled time for the end of the coffee, for example 10:30, they take everything and at 10:30 there will be absolutely nothing else in the buffet. I don't know if this is a norm in Norway, but as it is one of the best hotels in the city, I don't think it's cool for those on vacation. Any hotel always ends up staying for 15 or 30 minutes after the service ends.

1. Great location, the center of the center, from here you can shop, eat, visit the beautiful spots of the city within 5-10 minutes walk.
2. Classic, long-standing design, the system of zic zac staircase corridor is quite strange, sophisticatedly beautiful.
3. Friendly, supportive staff, good housekeeping, clean, odorless.
4. Rich breakfast food, better than GH Stockholm.
Things to improve: should study GH Stockholm about items and accessories for customers such as toiletries in the bathroom, rain umbrella, welcome drink, etc.
Service fantastic. The room has the little extra with a chandelier, a special headboard and wallpaper. The bed was amazing. Recommend swimming in hotel pool. The location can't be better ... Just letting go of that !!
The whole city is fantastic, this street is fantastic because there is always something interesting going on here, especially on weekends, this hotel is fantastic, as is all the others in Norway and this magnificent black granite sculpture of a lying woman is fantastic ...
In the heart of the city could be noisy sometimes becouse of people shouting outside other than that its just perfect
The location is really great. The staff, polite. The room, nice, clean and comfortable. But the spa don't have massagists, the house keeping is about average and can be noisy at night.

Was with my son and getting spa and massage..it was the most beautiful experience, nice massage, but before I was asked to take off my necklace, I did, put it in my pocket in my bathrobe .. when the massage was over , I went out and took a bath, ovs. And went out and waited for my son..forget everything about my necklace, just say the necklace is a thick 24k gold chain with 1 carat diamond in which I inherited from my mother .. so Sunday night when I became aware on forgetting them, I contacted the grand hotel, they told me they had not found it but I had to call again on Monday morning .. there I spoke with Benedicte at the spa ward, she would do anything to help me, I thought .. I will never see it again .. but 1 hour later, she called back to tell them they had found it ... it is nice ... thank you very much for your honesty ...
Great hotel, feels a bit worn in some areas, but definitely a great place to stay. Also has a great spa area, where I really recommend taking a massage for extra comfort

Excellent service in an historic location. Our room was contemporary but lacked character as it was in a modern extension located at the rear of the hotel. The bed was the most comfortable ever!

The Grand is my home away from home. I am in Oslo every six weeks since I am running a public company there. The staff is friendly, the accommodations are amazing and their gym/spa is very functional. I highly recommend the Grand.
The chef is special. Amazing culinary experience. True to its heritage.
