My name is Tom and this my story lol.
I was going to the physical therapist next door to JW Pastry. I arrived a little early so I figured I would grab a quick bite and proceeded to look in my GPS for nearby restaurants. As I was looking I noticed a place called The Good Pie Company/JW Pastry (2 stores in one place). When I went inside the first thing I noticed was the beautiful smell of freshly baked goodies & how clean the place was. The Good Pie Company is one place and JW pastry is another. The Good Pie Company have some amazing pies from spinach pie to apple pie, Cherry Pie, Artesian breads handcrafted pastries & custom pies just a phone call away. I mean I am Extremely impressed how organized they are. However I was more intrigued in the Sweet Tarts that I saw before my eyes (In the picture). I spoke with Jonathan who is a executive pastry chef and owner of JW pastries about how he crafted the Sweet Tarts. He really impressed me with the details on how he crafts these works of art. I decided to buy one sweet tart and let my taste buds and stomach do the judging. Let me tell you what, I fell in love with it, my stomach fell in love with it & my brain is now addicted to it lol. It's freaking Amazing!!! Just so you are aware I live about 40 minutes away from JW pastries and I come here 2 to 3 times a week! When something is that good and that cheap ($8.00), you cannot go wrong. The executive pastry chef Jonathan is a wonderful and honest person. Something you don't find a lot these days. Take my word for it, This Place Is Amazing. I promise you you will not be disappointed.

My husband and I accidentally stumbled into this place a couple of years ago. Best mistake we made in a long time. Have tried many pies. Whether savory or dessert, pies are without exception excellent. Often buy one savory pie and one dessert pie. Prepare a salad if you like, and dinner is served. Owners/bakers are friendly and open to new ideas. Should be named The Great Pie Company. That's what we call it!

I ve wanted to check this place out for a while & finally had the chance. Bought a very small 3 inch individual peanut butter pie for 12 BUCKS! It was good but not any better than Pie s from Publix, Doris, Fresh Market, and Whole Foods etc. & their Pies are half the price. Don t think I ll be back; it s just not affordable to me or worth it at all. They were very nice inside & they gave free sample but again, I try to support mom & pop places but they make it so hard too.

Incredibly open, friendly staff with insane pie and baked good selection, even stayed open late just for us and even heated it up for us properly in the oven 10 minutes. So dedicated to pie, people, and the pursuit of happiness through their trade! Local coffee too!

We ordered seven six inch pies for a birthday party. Everyone loved them. The presentation was elegant and they tasted great! Jake was very nice to work with. He took time to answer all my questions and never rushed me even though he was the only one working at the time.

So specia and worth the 30 minute drive and every penny! Even came end of day at the end of their week and they kept apologizing about the lack of selection.... which was still plentiful and I ended up walking out with 6 different sweet and savory options.

We try the Aussie meet pie, wow simply delicious, the Quiche: bacon, onion and Swiss cheese it is so yummy, the basil, tomato quiche, oatmeal cookies, the bread pudding, let me tell you I am not a fun of bread pudding but after I warm it up in a convection oven at 300 degrees farenhieth for 5 minutes, they give me a sauce to put on top of the pudding before serving, well I love it I'm going back for second, ohh forgot to tell you we are so pl ease with everything we try we order a Coconut cream pie, I'll let you know who was it, but I can take a guess...
The lady who help us, was very nais she gave my son a small meat pie which he love by the way, this place is a most stop for artisan bread, you can also place an order on line or over the phone.
It is $$$$ but it is really worth it.

Jake owns The Pie Company and I'm telling you the pies are absolutely delicious. I got the butternut squash with caramelized onions and Gouda and the Aussie meat pie, I took these pies to children who ate the pies and asked for more! Sign of a good cook is the ability to give unusual food to children and have them love it! Good job Jake. Definitely following you in Instagram! Total Yum Yum Yummers!!!!

Today, my mother took my father, her best friend and I to this pie company boasting about their pies. While there, my father took a few samples to try. Contrary to popular opinion, according to this establishment, you are NOT to sample their food. A man who worked there, who I can only presume to be the owner, with no regard to embarrassing patrons told my father that "he'd had enough samples." Despite the fact that my mother purchased 3 pies and her best friend purchased 2 pies, this was not enough to equal my father consuming a few samples. Needless to say, we will NEVER be returning to this place again, and if you decide to go DO NOT EAT THEIR SAMPLES or they will reprimand you as if you are a child and not an adult.

My wife and I found The Good Pie Company online and figured we'd give it a shot. Walking into the shop is an experience, so many different pies to choose, savory, sweet and different other assorted desserts. The owners are super friendly, and were happy to answer my million questions about the different menu items. If their passion about their food didn't come through just talking to them, wait until you see them box up your pie. The pies are really a work of art. The lemon meringue pie was something out of a magazine or food network show, really just stunning.

The reuben pie was our favorite. There are caraway seeds so it you taste the rye, sauerkraut and the thousand island dressing in every bite. This was 100% the best thing I've eaten in a long time. The prices of the pies are really worth it considering they are stuffed to the brim with meat. There is very little filler, its all so well balanced. I would certainly recommend this to anyone who is looking for good eats, and wants something a little different. Five stars!
