Aaron and the rest of the crew were helpful and personable every time I have visited. They provide quality service and products. I brought in my mom's 35 year old wedding ring and they made it look brand new free of charge.

It's really weird to hear bad things about stores in SLO but I've heard awful things about the customer service at this store. I'm proactively giving them a 1 star review until you treat my friends and relatives better. How awful.

Last week I got my first piercing here! They were very nice and made sure my piercing was where I wanted it! I would definitely recommend coming here for jewelry and piercings! They had great service and when I asked about purchasing earrings they helped me find the perfect ones! I was worried about getting my ears pierced, but they were very kind and were open to me asking lots of questions. For anyone who is possibly going to get there ears pierced here...

I love, love, LOVE Gold Concepts. They have a mix of classic jewelry and tasteful unique/modern pieces. It s the jewelry store I find myself most frequently ogling pieces in the window!
They helped me design my wedding band and were affordable and no-non-sense. I got a really nice band and often get compliments on its design. A few years later when I was looking for a nice necklace for my mother s birthday I came back. They were the only place in town that offered a range of price points AND nice looking stuff.
The owner is also always really nice. He s very strait-forward in his demeanor, but knowledgeable, kind, and helpful in making sure you get the piece you want.

I inquired with Gold Concept while shopping around for a custom engagement ring. I had inquired as to prices with a few other places on a specific gem, size, shape, carat, etc. Their starting price was twice that of other local jewelers whom I also quoted. If you are someone with a budget, or would not like to be gouged by commission, I'd search elsewhere.

In addition, when I entered, I did not get the warm welcome I thought I might expect. Had they greeted me, congratulated me, or provided any warmth whatsoever I might have been able to excuse the steep prices as "paying for customer service". I will not return.

Brianna, Devon and Aaron are personable, provide fair prices and thoughtfully crafted designs. They work with you if you're on a budget and unlike some retail places within this industry there is a personal, no pressure approach to their customer service.
