Great beers, tasty good food, friendly service - a proper, traditional pub!
Friendly welcome and very good home made chilli. Great selection of beers too.
Cozy and friendly bar with great, secluded outdoor seating area.
Just my friends treat and we could never say no. And thank God I truly enjoy here. Lots of nice people and great foods. Everything is amazing from the staff to services its awesome. Nice :)
Have been going to this pub as my local for nearly 20 years, and 5 sets of landlords. Always an excellent experience. Great beers and great company.
Lovely friendly pub. Good food, great selection of ales.
The beer is great, but the burgers are the best in town, you really aught to try one.You won't be disappointed!
A quintessential English pub with real people, real food and real ale in Bournemouth. Quiz is a bit nerdish! I think they're all doctors.
Fantastic food. Would never have found this place without Google maps. Will definitely come again :-)
The classic old English pub with good choice of ales.
Helpful friendly staff and good quality pub grub, dogs welcome but no children
A great little find! Perfect, peaceful place to get some work done on a business trip. Locals and staff were incredibly friendly, plus a great food and drink choice. Would definetly recommend
Came in and there was no room for our group of people.
Staff were not very helpful
They allowed pets inside which is just my dislike. Others may appreciate this though
Had a nice English pub feeling.
Adequate choice of beers.
I'm in love with this Fantastic Venue.what a happy place to be and Great home cooked food with a friendly family atmosphere.
Best Wadworths pub ive been in by a long mile. Well kept beers both from the home brewery and guests. Friendly staff. Decent food offering. Dog friendly.
A proper pub with very friendly staff, warm & welcoming. Good choice of craft beers. The food is delicious & would highly recommend the tapas & chilli chips. Felt very safe as the Covid rules were to a high standard. A hidden gem.
Very friendly place. Dog friendly too
Also have small plates on the menu. We had chilli and lasagne. Very good food at very reasonable prices.
Great selection of beers, prices not bad either. Staff knowledgeable
Great pub with a good selection of guest beers and a great beer garden to the rear. Food was also excellent
Authentic friendly old pub with good range of beers
Nice place for real ale drinkers. Just like a traditional old style English pub maintaining an old English custom
Nice pub, lots of real ale. Friendly and nice contemporary decor. Love the court yard even though i dont smoke
Friendly pub. Finn the dog is lovely. Food is reasonable and delicious
Great place for a pint and a catch up with friends, dog friendly too.
A good atmosphere for a pint though a little on the expensive side.
Ok'ish. Not a great selection of cask ales when we visited. Nice courtyard out the back to enjoy. Fairly average inside. Others peoples food looked good (but we werent eating this time).
A great little boozer. Fantastic facilities and great selection of beers and also a couple of games to play, which is always nice.
Lively place with a good selection of beer it isn't the cheapest place but the beer is in good condition and makes you want more.
Friendly staff serving delicious food with generous helpings.
Would recommend to anyone.
They even have raffles to giveaway fresh meat! A pub with charm and character.
Good selection of ales. Good Food. But bit pricey. Friendly staff..
Friendly atmosphere nice ales good food what more do you need
Poor meal. Chips were undercooked and raw. Chicken burger was about a 5th the size of the bun! Not good
lovely local pub with really nice food, staff friendly nice atmosphere.
Great place for a quick drink and bite to eat at lunch
Great choice of beers, excellent service and proper pub atmosphere
Dog friendly but not kid friendly. They don't allow children in so had to find somewhere else to take the dog and family.
Having been in many many pubs/bars all over the World over the last 50 years...I would put The Goat & Bicycle well up in the top 10...and believe me thats a high accolade indeed
Excellent premises
Efficient, friendly staff
Fine, extensive selection of beers etc
Tasty, well priced home cooked food
Wish I could move this place lock, stock and barrel to the Swansea area!
Well done guys, keep it up!
Beware - the menu has changed. No pies! Still a good real ale pub, but food is not up to standard.
Great pub, big games area with pool table and giant Jenga. Really good food too and loads of Wadsworth ales.
A throwback bar from my salad days so I went for a pint with my Japanese wife who looked a little bemused as I had sung its praises a little too enthusiastically earlier in the day. The craft beer revolution has moved on but the G&T is stuck in the past. To be fair, many like a quieter atmosphere but for me it was good for a nostalgic pint and then time to move on.
My first time at goat and triangle after being recommended. Had to wait , what seemed like forever to get served, then food took even longer to arrive. When food finally arrived the nachos were crumbled, looked like they had been stamped over into tiny pieces. I won't be returning anytime soon
Excellent beer and food, dog friendly. What's not to like?
This is a really great "proper pub". Good selection of real ales, nice little beer garden and decent food.
All real ale. Cantsay better than that. A proper pub!
What a good town pub should be like. Just perfect.
Great landlady, very friendly efficient and good selection of ales. One of the best pubs in Bournemouth by far.....
Great pub, friendly service and generous food portions! Good quiz on Sundays
Fantastic outdoor garden with the chance to buy beer straight from barrels outside too.
Good pub, but needs more Porter/stout. Only 1 stout to drink.
Lovely pub..vege roast was absolutely delicious. Went Sunday evening and thoroughly enjoyed our time
Traditional pub with good value food and a good selection of qualiry beer on draught.
Wadworths house with excellent beer and a great atmosphere, just outside the centre of town.
A peaceful oasis where I usually enjoy a solo pint as I muse on the meaning of life, the universe and shopping. But it's an equally great place to go with a group of friends.
Cozy little pub nothing horrible to say about it. Lovely
Rob, Haliey and Julia made our night fantastic would definitely come back would be back next week!!
Staff excellent at this great pub, lots of real ales, good food. Would definitely return.
Lovely food. Young man serving lovely. Couldn't do enough for us
Had a fun Christmas party with the office staff here! Everyone who served us on the day was great!!! As was the man who sorted our gluten free member amazingly too :-D Food was top notch too!
My husband and I visited the Goat & Tricycle while on holiday in Bournemouth it was not our first visit we have been before and the Beers are excellent. We always make a point of visiting as we love the beers so much.
The only complaint we have is there was a strong smell coming from the toilets when we sat upstairs!! It was a disinfectant smell which put us off of our beers!!! As there is no outside door on the entrance to the toilets we can only assume that this was the problem of not keeping the smell contained.
We visited again during our stay and sat downstairs, and we could still smell the toilets.
Please can you do something to sort this out? Other than that an excellent pub with a great atmosphere and excellent beers!!!
Great food and large choice of real ales with friendly service.
Really nice old fashioned pub. Great selection of Wadsworth ales. Really good food. Had an out side court yard which is great on really hot days for a bit of shade, and us good on worse days as very sheltered. Has a pool table. Can get a bit roudy but normally has a nice atmosphere. Definitely a hidden gem!
Lots of choice. Loved the whitebait. Very friendly staff
The Goat has some fantastic meals at lunch and are dog friendly too, so ideal to stop by when walking your fur baby for a spot of lunch.
Rubbish. Table of 8, food came at different times. Very small portions and overall mediocre. Such a shame as this used to be the best pub in Bournemouth.
Beer still good though. The new management need to get their act together, and very quickly before all their loyal customers go elsewhere.
Nice old fashioned boozer close to Bournemouth town centre (at The Triangle). Wandsworth house with wide range of beers. Good food and nicely eccentric landlady all add to the ambience.
Serves a mighty fine pint of ale, can get a little rowdy sometimes and the pub quiz (Sundays I think) is mean! Food is a mixed affair but it's never been bad - last time I checked they did a goat curry too - must try that sometime.
