Love the place, the staff and oh what about the food

Went here on a Tuesday night at the suggestion of a friend. It was bustling but we could hear each other talk. We had a great time catching up over good drinks and the fantastic view of the harbour.

They offer a varied selection of food compared to other pubs I've frequented. The curry beef cheek could have been more tender but nevertheless delicious.

Their rooftop bar has amazing views, but it's always exceptionally crowded, if you arrive past 5pm any day forget about sitting...

Best view from a rooftop bar in the city imho. Can get very busy so best to pick less popular times.

Old school, but with great view of Opera House from roof garden

Great view of the harbour but you pay for it. Prices are high even for Sydney standards

One of the bests rooftop bar views in Sydney, I love bringing friends from overseas here. They have a great range of beers and the food quality is always high.

I'm my opinion is one of the best rooftops in Sydney, the view to the opera house is stunning. And prices very reasonable, just around $6 a glass of beer

Came here with friends last week as an end of TAFE celebration party, fantastic hotel! Awesome views from the rooftop cocktail bar and staff were very friendly, even turning on the heaters for us when it got a bit cold.

Rooftop bar was ry good and chill on the Thursday night (plus this was during Covid). Didn't take too long to wait to buy a drink too.

The view alone is worth the visit. Tables were a little too close together and food not as good as I remember it since the chef has changed, but it was still good

Amazing Views of the whole City. Food is pretty good. I would say more staff on the roof top bar as it s always busy & u have to wait for service for quiet some time.

Rooftop bar was excellent. Great atmosphere but not too crowded on Saturday night. I'm sure Friday night would be different but on Saturday night we easily got a table and didn't wait too long for service. Great@

Fantastic friendly efficient service. Good Friday lunch, ran out of squid. Beer battered Fish & chips nice, however cold. This would have been sensational. Sydney Oysters for $5 each These were delicious, although the smallest I have ever seen!!

Waited 40 mins for a jug of sangria.. staff said the place was super busy and when we went inside to ask for refund the place was pretty much empty..

Great night time city views of the Opera house from the rooftop and not too expensive.

Perfect location, great view, good food and cold beer. A perfect place to meet friends and enjoy an afternoon relaxing.

Great pub. Up stairs has a great view, but can be really busy. Beer and wine selection is good. Food is good as well. The beef pappardelle was yummy as. Just need a bit of bread or a roll to wipe up the plate.

Yesterday we were here for dinner.
The staff is good and friendly, but the problem was the food. They served our four dishes all together, that was good, but probably were precooked because they served all four dishes in a very few minutes from the order and all of them were cold. We were sitted in the first floor, in a nice room, but the problem was that there were cockroach on the floor, on the wall and on our table.
Moreover, I was sick all the night, today in the afternoon I had to go to the doctor and I am still having a food poisoning and I am pregnant.

Old and full of Rocks style character. Good value drinks and food options. Roof top bar a must visit spot.

One of Sydneys best kept secrets located in THE ROCKS district. Within is a wonderful restaurant, awesome retro cocktail lounge , an old fashioned beer bar and the best rooftop bar in Sydney with gobsmacking views of Circular Quay and city . ( plus special smoking areas).

Well deserved drink after the Sydney bridge walk. Great location.

Beautiful view from roof top. Too crowded place. It is difficult to get rooftop places. Very long time to serve foods. View of opera house from this place mind blowing. We have done couple of photoshoots here and then moved on to circular quay for the photography.

Nice food and Amazing view. Will consider like a tourist place so is hard to get a table upstairs. Once you get the table is very worth it.

Great view from the rooftop. Plenty of space on multiple levels. Considered taking a star off for the fact that they don't have pints. Schooners only. :(

Great multilevel pub that caters to those who enjoy keeping their feet on the ground to those who like their head in the clouds and everyone in between.

It's a Sydney, Rocks, institution and a must see if you're thirsty for a beverage or hungry for some quality pub food.

Just head straight to the roof. One of my favourite go to locations when I'm wanting to head out for a beverage.

Hey, how ya going? The food was as good as the view which happened to be the side of a cruise ship. I expected more from you, Glen.

Took the family up to the rooftop for dinner and the views were amazing. Food and drinks were fine, service was good and the atmosphere was great. Will definitely be back next time we are in the Rocks.

Nice food for lunch with amazing views on rooftop bar. Most pleasant and keen to return to explore other menu options.

The pan roasted Barramundi fillet with smashed potatoes and veggie was very tasty.

Good pub to go to for a cold beer before or after a stroll on Sydney Bridge. Roof top terrace is good to look around. Sometimes Cruise Ship docked so blocks some of the view.

One of the best rooftop bars in Sydney. Lots of great beers on tap, and a great selection of food - american BBQ inspired! The chicken schnitzel is insanely delicious and the service is great. I like that the place is a good mix of unpretentious but upscale. The food is around the 20 mark though! But with a rooftop like that and a great ambience - it's hard to beat.

A light lunch for 4 on the rooftop bar. Spectacular views of the harbour. Good chicken wings and harissa chicken skewers. Just good pub food to go with a few beverages. Staff good but not great, if not for the rooftop bar, just another inner city pub, but would go again.

Rooftop is great and the cocktail list whilst small has a few good ones on it!!
