Great place for a round of golf, staff is very friendly and the course well manicured

A great lay-out, beautiful grooming and very nice people. For a public course Lake Hills has a country club environment with all of the challenges expected of good golf.

Lake Hills is in pretty good condition. Most greens are rolling true and the fairways have enough grass to provide a good lie. The rough is thin and dusty but not a surprise after a rain free June. It's where the deer and the antelope play, especially on the 10th hole. Just play through. The remodeled clubhouse is an improvement.

The owner has passion for something in life. Golf. most local business owners I see don't have passion for anything but money.

Lake Hills is a nice golf course hidden in a suburban area. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Its a fun course to play and I would recommend it.

Great place to get out and be with friends even if your not a golfer. Come to the clubhouse for brunch and to just relax everyone is welcome.

Nice 18 hole course, what I'd consider medium length, with a Proshop and lounge, snackbar mid-course. Open to public, avg. pricing

Played the course last year and this. The course is in a terrible condition and not well looked after. For $50 there are lots of better options close by. Eaglerock, Pryor Creek or even Peter Yegen are in better condition. This course should be ashamed charging that price for that quality of a course.

Who would thought that bigotry would improve one's golf game?

We entered into a contract with Lake Hills for a wedding and reception. We put down $1225.00 in rent and food deposit. We met with Gary Shampeny on January 1, 2016. He assured us he would have the arrangements complete in February. He never contacted us. We sent numerous emails and received no reply from him. We also made approximately 10 phone calls. I was able to talk to Gary on a Sunday and he said he would call me Tuesday or Wednesday with the plans, no phone call arrived. We have yet to hear from him and it is now April 26th. We have now requested all our money back because Gary and Lake Hills have not acted in good faith. I would discourage anyone from holding events at Lake Hills.

Early July and the course was in great shape. A couple of roughs were very dry but all in the the course looked great.

Nice course can walk or take cart. Antelope are added animals in scenery.

Cancelling a marriage celebration after signing a contract and accepting a deposit is not cool, especially when that decision is based on bigotry because it happened to be a same sex couple. Love is love, it's 2016, get over it.

The best public course in Billings and other surrounding areas.

This was the best kept 40 dollar 18 I ve ever played. Well maintained and good, quick, challenging greens. Made for a great Saturday morning.

We really enjoyed this golf course. Very affordable $49 for 18 holes which includes cart. Friendly and helpful staff. Course is well taken care of, greens are in good shape and roll true. I would definitely recommend this course to beginners and advanced golfers!

Fun track. Well maintained. Wide Fairways lined with trees. Greens are in good shape most of the time.
