We chose the Gladstone Hotel as our accommodations for our guests and ourselves the night before and night of our wedding. From the moment I contacted the hotel, the staff were extremely friendly and very accommodating. The hotel is a boutique hotel, a true gem! It has a lot of character, every room is individually designed, there is art work situated throughout the hotel and they have one of the oldest manually operated elevators which creates a beautiful backdrop for photos!

We stayed in the Tower Suite; it was honestly one of the nicest, most quaint rooms I have ever had the pleasure to stay in. The suite has two levels; the main floor has a washroom, living area, kitchenette and large windows allowing natural light to flow throughout the space and the upstairs is where the master bedroom is located, surrounded by windows, a bathroom and a private terrace with an amazing view of the city skyline. The complimentary coffee on each floor was such a bonus as we did not have to go far for our morning brew! Looking forward to staying here again!

Pretty cool place for drinks, but I don't recommend the brunch.

The food options were much better than I remember. Drink deal on Goose Island IPA was amazing. And the new burger options are on par with other boutique burger joints in Toronto.

The food was OK. We had the burger, fry and wings. Came out between warm and hot on cold plates so the temps dropped immediately. Taste was good but not extravagant. Drinks were great value and the service was good to very good.

Take a ride in the elevator. The only thing keeping this place a 3/5 is the elevator.

A quirky and Charming Hotel in an interesting neighbourhood. We had a bit of a mix-up with the bill but they fixed it promptly.

Fun boutique hotel with lots of history, artistic shows and random gigs. Almost every evening something going on there. Hard to fail!

Burlesque shows, concerts, specialty hotel rooms and bar/food.

Came for my birthday. We were running late and they were very accommodating with moving our reservation. Service was great despite the place being packed. We were in the Melody Bar.

Great drink selection and amazing clouds on kareoke nights.

The hotel is easily located in downtown Toronto. The rooms are just the right size and quite comfortable. The on-site bar/restaurant is excellent.

The ambience of the space is great. The portion sizing on the fries is outright despicable. $7 for an malnourished-elf-sized portion. Is this the 1920s? Is this the great depression? Why is this happening. This cannot continue. I am outraged.

It is pretty and the food and service is good. An amazing restoration.

Very helpful staff. Food was decent. House cocktails were great. Decor is very romance and comforting.

Gladstone Hotel had a warm and welcoming atmosphere. They also have couches and a fireplace which make it a cozy place for date night.

I'm not sure about the rooms for rent in, but the bar are very nice

A friend and I attended the 90s Video Music Dance Party at the Gladstone. We had so much fun and loved the venue. We'll definitely be back!!

Went there for a friend's art show. It was like a little maze of semi classy boozy debauchery. 5/7 would go again.

I've been at Gladstone hotel for few art gallery show and it was a great experience. It's not just a hotel, in fact they have a nice restaurant and bar with live music, and in ballroom there are always some cool events/dance nights!

Went for colouring night, which was a fun idea. Music was so loud, no point in talking. Not my thing.

Hotel party was only okay, but room party was fun and comfortable.

Came to the email transformation tour event, great atmosphere!

The coffee and food are expensive and don't match the quality expected at that price level. However it is a very nice place and atmosphere.

It is renovated nicely.. It is beautiful hotel located at beautiful renovated historical buildings. It is remained the old and new day charm.

The doubles were lukewarm and lacking in spice but my hotel room was great. A Toronto institution, excellent queer-positive events all the time and great coffee.

Great karaoke one of the best nights in this venue

Good food and nice atmosphere. A little pricey for the fare, but the servers are great company and know good service!

Ambient, old-timey feeling cocktail bar. Went during a karaoke night, which was fun even while it felt at odds with the elegance of the venue.

Stopped for drinks on a Saturday night. Bartender was prompt, decent beer selection.

We stayed in a King Classic Room on a Sunday night. Monica the receptionist was very hospitable, helped us from start to finish and even supplied us with toothbrushes/extra toiletries we forgot to pack. The room was clean and cozy, white walls/white bedding with a rustic wooden vibe. I'm glad there was an adjustable shower head and even a little alarm clock with USB plugins. Will be back!

I love the very old elevator and walk the wooden stairs.

Went to see a photo exhibit on the 3rd floor. Lobby was crowded, and made it difficult to get to the stairs. Once up there, the space was nice and well lit.

I've been to a few events here and always had a great time. I love the vibe. You can drink dance and hang out without any pretentiousness. The live music is wonderful. Nathan Da Silva played at the 2016 '12 Beers of Summer' event and he was really good. We had a blast. The only thing I would like to see improve is being able to get more detailed information about their events, for example whether/what kind of food will be available at the events.

the goat shoulder on the guest chef's menu was so good i stopped eating took it to go so i could share it with my gf at home even though i was really hungry.

Good service and atmosphere. Ballroom is a nice space for events, but drinks are a little expensive.

Wasn't overly impressed with brunch. The wait for our food was almost half an hour. Kitchen refused to make a substitution due to being too busy.

We had dinner at the restaurant on Legos and lagers night it was awesome

Very nice and cozy. Staff is very friendly and amenities cover all you need. The vibe is great and the hotel is very well situated, close to downtown and surrounded by a quantity of cool shops, bars and delicious restaurants. Free tea and coffee on the third and fourth floor every morning and every for is an ever-changing art gallery. I highly recommend!

One of the longest running karaoke nights in the city.

I used only the cafe. It's fashionable, I want to stay! The events we are doing here are also interesting

It's still cool, but it's really trying to be...and you feel that effort.

Awesome bar and crowd especially with live band karaoke every other Friday

The rooms were very tiny. We were out into a room with a queen bed vs the two single beds we requested. On the upside it was pretty clean.
