Yes, it's infested with hipsters, but the Gladstone continues to bring in great art exhibits and bands. They're also great about booking tables for low-key birthday events and such.

Great location and a really interesting atmosphere. If you stay here, you're living in an art exhibit.

I was in the Melody Bar for music bingo which was a lot of fun. The crowd and host were both great, with the server who was attentive. I had their veggie beet burger which was quite delicious.

Ok. This hotel has most of it. Cool rooms, nice restaurant, cool bar and lots of exciting art. The neighborhood and the street are just right and the area has plenty to offer. So what's the hook? Well if you have trouble sleeping if it is loud music then don't book this, especially on the weekend. If you have no problems with sound or are used to sleeping with ear plugs then just book o enjoy having the nightlife one floor down.

I hosted an event at The Gladstone on Sunday for their Drag Brunch. I have nothing but praise for the performers, management and staff. Not to mention the food was delicious!!! Such a warm and friendly environment, I will definitely be coming back!

We went through Gladstone on Halloween night. Drinks at not too high prices, energy ambience .... it was good

Structurally beautiful, that is for sure. I go here for fairs sometimes, and I have always found the old decor and styling very characteristic of the building. People are always friendly here and I have been wanting to go back for a while. It is a little small in the entrance way and in the rooms off to the sides when you first go in, making it hard to have your own space during an event. But besides that, a great place to attend events.

It's a really cool spot, just go really early on RuPaul's Drag Race night if you want a place to sit.

CUTMR 2018 was so great. Marianne Ibrahim's piece in sister coresistor was incredible. Great music was playing in the downstairs bar.

Great Venue. There can be a wait but it is totally worth it.

Went to the Gladstone for a friend's birthday and it was karaoke night. Always great energy and lots of fun. Bar service is sometimes lacking and the beer selection isn't the best but that's not excuse to not have a great time.

We've stayed at the Gladstone several times. The staff is friendly. We love how every room is themed - great creativity! Honey Pie Hives Herbal soaps are a nice touch (we love Bay & Gavin's products). It's a great neighbourhood to explore in - our favourite is the "Ossington Crawl". Their breakfast menu rocks!

Historic and yet very accessible. Houses many art exhibits.

It's changed a lot over the years. Getting fancier (read: More expensive), but still has some decent events. Karaoke night is still packed as it ever was.

Stayed for two nights. Room was really clean and bathroom as well so shout out to the people who clean the rooms because they do a fantastic job!

Overall, we had a tv in our room and that was great. The decor of the room was cool as well. I loved the lamp with helmets. Every morning they have fresh coffee outside in the lounge area, which is great.

It s quiet and it s in a great location where there are so many shops and local restaurants. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again in the future !

Love the feel of this place - i was here for a photography exhibit and really enjoy to see how Gladstone Hotel contributes to the cultural life of the city. Hope to be back for more events!

The visual aspect of the building gives visitors and even passerbys a unique authentic feel. The service is top notch. A must visit.

Nice, cozy venue for events. The room was a bit on the small size for the size of our group and the drinks were overpriced, but that's to be expected.

Phenomenal drag brunch! Packed house, amazing food and a fabulous drag show! Many thanks to Sam who was able to accommodate our additional guest in such a crowded event it was very much appreciated. Our first BUT NOT last drag brunch! Get out and enjoy a fab show with your friends and family!!

I love the architecture. ; It is great ' eye Candy's from the 1800's. It looks like it ha Credit Valley sandstone in the blocks.

Wonderful place to stay downtown, which doubles as an awesome venue spot for smaller bands and artists. Really cool spot to reach if theres an event. Food and drinks are good too.

This building is steeped in history. Art and culture.

We decided to go to the brunch inside be because we seen a sign outside and the bar area was rather nice and very well decorated. Loved how the space looked. Our server was really kind and down to earth. There was a birthday party happening in another room, which we could hear a bit of but mostly just for the major, singing and cake part. We were sitting quite close to the wall separating the spaces. Food was delishish, had no issues there. Tofu was on the menu as a meay which i havent seen widely, no sausages though. Otherall, would go again. Quick tasty meal and great environment to relax.

Just saw some of the design installations that are in the hotel rooms at the moment. Worth going out in the first major snow storm if the season.

Attended karaoke a couple fridays ago and loved it! Attentive staff, great vibe.

Such a cool hotel/art gallery. It is a dynamic space that is full of life during the day and nice and quiet at night. I stayed just one night on a business trip. Slept great and the room had everything I needed. The staff was friendly, helpful and kind. Enjoyed it all.

Was attending a photography event. On the 2nd, 3rd and rth floors. The Gladstone is quite a charming space for holding events in.

Service was welcoming. Location is great, and the rooms are each a different style of artistic personality. It's crazy cool.

Attended the live band karaoke, singers were good, people were friendly. I'd go back!

Went for brunch. Food was good, but overpriced. Menu was small. It took a long time to get the bill. It is a nice environment, but overall there are better places for brunch.

To see this place 15 years ago, it was a place that was used to shoot spooky movies and if there's anywhere haunted in this city it's gotta be here. . It's immaculate now but it was skid row for many during the 90's. Many a soul lost here but now totally turned around and an amazing Toronto landmark!!!!

The Gladstone is a classic joint. We got married here and it was awesome. Aged, but classy and elegant. We were very well taken care of.

I attended the Gladstone for two separate events hosted in the bar/connecting large dining room, both events were fabulous! The food, cocktails, and service were on point, even though it seemed like they were under staffed. I was also given a small tour of the various floors and rooms, very cool place.

Nice spot for a dinner and a drink, wednesday night music bingo is a great time.

A fantastic event space that brings a lot of interesting events to the neighbourhood. The Gladstone offers a unique experience every time I go.

Was there for karaoke with the Canadian National Air Guitar competitors. Best karaoke event ever.

Good location, great concept, nice place, but i expected more for the price. The shower was the worse feature, being plastic, small rectangle, leaky old shower head.... but the rest of the room was cool. Small but clean.

Went for karaoke night. It was very busy but fun to see all the silly people singing away.

Went in for breakfast and caught the hour in between breakfast and lunch not being served. Staff were friendly enough to offer coffee and pastries in the interim to myself and others guests.

Overall a pretty brief encounter but enjoyable.

Karaoke has a great atmosphere, but a long rotation as a result!
