Came here for the first time during the "Come Up To My Room" art show. I found the Gladstone Hotel to be a charming little place with a great vibe.

Service was quite slow. I did enjoy the atmosphere, but not much else.
Arrived at 11:00am on a Sunday morning with 5 people, and were seated within 30 minutes, which was a nice surprise on a Sunday morning on Queen West. I had the doubles (incredible, if you like indian-style food, not authentic but still delicious). Everyone else ordered the mushroom Eggs Benny which they all loved as well. Initially the prices seemed high for brunch, but it was well worth it for the food that we recieved in return. I like that they focus on locally-sourced and sustainable food as well. The bartender makes an excellent Ceasar. Only downside was the service being a little slow, but they were busy and polite so I didn't mind. I would recommend this to most people, provided you're not very high maintenance.
Unique boutique hotel with art exhibition in halls
The space uses for the event was well set up. The bar staff were pleasant and knowledgeable.
Went there for karaoke and I had a really great time there. Love the atmosphere and the vibe.
Great live entertainment, no cover charge! Nice atmosphere, good staff, clean.
the lego party was LITTLE, and the sex story thing was really good
Food was great but the server kept forgetting stuff/lacked product knowledge.
A very awesome place hotel where you can spend time with friends
Went for trivia night, friendly service and great atmosphere
Drinks were expensive but the atmosphere was lively
What a charming venue for a presentation. The facilities were unique and gorgeous, and the staff were super helpful with getting us all set up!
The building is beautiful with interesting art throughout. Drinks were reasonable and the food was good. Only issue I had was finding parking on the vicinity. Taking transit would not be an issue.
Went for a Bunz exhibition. It was really good. Though didnt eat anything at the restaurant
I loved the art gallery theme, and the elevator was amazing. Our room was interesting with a comfortable bed. I would love to stay again.
Breakfast here was SLOW. Only one other person, and we both waited over 30 minutes for eggs. One staff member just kept walking in and out if cafe into hotel lobby - no communication. Kind of depressing as well but may have been due to the rain. Food was just okay.
Super busy all the time. Staff were kind and super helpful. Breakfast wasnt the best, but the chef in residence made up for it at dinner. Quiet, decent wifi, and very interesting rooms!
A short but high quality of drinks selection, I didn't try the food but I saw some dishes and all of them seemed nice
Loved the brunch. Had wild mushrooms eggs Benedict.
Excellent exhibitions on the hotel's floor, vibrant vibes and most interesting decor.
The place itself is really nice, the food is ok but the service is mediocre at best
I meet there Tuesday nights for Parkdale Road Runners. The staff are friendly and helpful when we come in!
They have the most amazing collection of teapots. The food is pricey but fabulous
All nice and cool but they should renovate the bathroom!
I attended the Gladstone not as a guest of the hotel but to see the art exhibit "Come Up To My Room 2017". It was my first time in the hotel. This hotel is beautiful, old and warmly renovated. A number of the rooms have been refitted by local artists and those are simply beautiful. I regret I hadn't been to the hotel earlier.
Went there for drinks, it was nice, would go again.
I booked the Gladstone Hotel as a venue for our Holiday Party. I was in touch with Lukus who was incredibly helpful and patient, sending emails back and forth ensuring that my every wish was met - down to the smallest details! The days leading up to the event were a breeze as Lukus checked in with me frequently to make sure all would be absolutely perfect the night of - and it was!
I was also in touch with Sophia who was prompt and a delight to work with.
The night of the event could not have gone any better. Not only was all the food DELICIOUS, there were several staff members at our disposal for the entire evening and they were easy to find if we needed them. Everyone was so kind and just wanted to make sure we had a good time. Well, team Gladstone, we really did!!! Thank you so much!!! We will definitely be coming back!!!
The venue is excellent and the bar is great. The food quality of their catering was lacking.
Pretty amazing design for each room. A bit small though definitely worth the experience and location.
Whimsical venue with great food and drinks. Several event areas; always something interesting going on here. Staff are incredibly pleasant and the ambiance is lovely.
I love doing karaoke here. The audience is really mixed. I think the song selection depends on the day. I think it seemed to be best on Friday nights.
I enjoy this building and the special event they hold. Good service
Came for a wedding, very cool atmosphere. Food was excellent and the art on every floor was very cool. Each room is themed by a different artist and decorated as an exhibit.
Bad food, cold and tasteless. Worst cost benefit. Would not go back.
I only have experience at the bar side of the Hotel, but Good Enough Live Karaoke was an extremely fun, lively time.
We went for the new years evening. The food and drink were great and so was the atmosphere for the most part. Everything up until 12 was fantastic then the night just sort of stalled out. Still a great time. Mostly worth the money spent.
The location is great. Bar is only okay. Nice event space.
Went here for brunch, and service was great. Good atmosphere.
I went for legos and lagers and it was a lot of fun! Def do it again!
Seeing Tinder Tales at the Gladstone is one of my favourite ways to spend an evening.
Visited most recently for the flipside record show.
It was nice seeing the old place again haven't seen it in 30 years still has The Rustic feeling to it with a little bit of modern added to it they did a fantastic job I thought fixing the old place up
Went for an event in the hotel lobby, wanted to stay for drinks and food and maybe spend a night on a special occasion. Great place.
Lovedthe fact that they have drag brunch, the artwork is impressive too.
The Gladstone is the oldest and most unique hotel in toronto. Rooms designed by local artists with really cool themes. Lots of original architecture including the original elevator that's cranked and manned. You have to appreciate a rustic antique artsy vibe, otherwise, not a place for you. I adore so much about this hotel, originality, high ceilings, wide hallways, the giant windows, and am so glad it is a heritage building so that I don't have to worry about it being demolished and replaced with a shiny condo. Big supporters of the arts in toronto and constantly have fun events. Most recently the annual come up to my room 2019 event #cutmr
TTC accessible. Very versatile venue with lots of different spaces for different purposes I.e. Workshops, shows, bars, corporate events. Was nice overall
Fantastic band (Fool Hearts) and karaoke was a lot of fun!
Our wedding was absolutely perfect! We can't thank Sarah enough for all your help in setting everything up. The hotel looked gorgeous and The Gladstone Team were all amazingly helpful and friendly. It was an absolute pleasure working with Sarah and the wider team from start to finish. Everything went so smoothly and it was better than we could've imagined. We are so incredibly happy - both still beaming from the day.
Good and drinks were very good. I enjoyed the atmosphere the most!
