The Front Porch Pub Review

I love the staff (bartender and servers are great!) at the Front Porch and I like that the menu changes about every 6 months with new things to try.

Warm tap beer. They hold onto your credit card like you are a criminal. Parking is too limited. Not a friendly staff. Not going back!

Really interesting place. Nice bar, new twist on some classic food. Good beer selection. Worth visit or two or three.

I had come to this place a couple times. I like the wings, burger and dumplings. A wide range of alcohol to choose from. I heard their head chef used to work for a 5 star Manhattan hotel. Overall great atmosphere and nice place to spend the night and weekend watching sports.

Such an awesome little place for this area. The staff are always friendly and fun, the food is freaking top notch for a small local eatery. I've never had anything I don't like at the Porch. The double fried wings - amazing. All the sauce options - fantastic. The egg rolls - incredible. Fries, mac n cheese, salads, burgers, everything is cooked / prepared to perfection. Always a great go-to for dinner or drinks, and they even do brunch now! Can't wait to try that soon.

Went for a drink and the late night menu. I want to go back.

The double fried wings and the Truffle bacon mac and cheese are to die for... The burgers are top-notch and the beer selection is amazing... Highly highly recommended

How I have never been here before! Such a great atmosphere. Food was delicious. Chef Melissa even came out, she is wonderful! Definitely a must go any night of the week!

Really good food surprisingly!! I had salmon with teriyaki an brussel sprouts! Well executed dish! N the place looked clean and well kept .N the bar tender made me a nice old fashioned. would recommend !

I came to this place for the first time. It is a great local destination. Good choice of brews, good food, and I love the industrial style decor.

Loved the service, staff and bartenders treated us like we were at home. Had a beer and the Galbi buger with lemon/lime fries. Prepare yourself it was very good

All the staff members and locals in the bar were extremely friendly. The food was delicious and filling-I had the Galbi burger with Fries.

I was on my way to NYC from Toronto but dropped by the Front Porch on the way. It was nice to have a change of scene from NYC and meet the kind folks in Jersey while having a great meal and a great selection of beverages on tap.

Went there for the 2nd time for dinner tonight. The meal I had eaten the first time was no longer there which was disappointing since it was so good but that goes to show you this place takes its food seriously if they're regularly updating the menu. Unfortunately they had run out of edamame appetizers and the chicken in my salad was a bit too charred. They do however have good Sunday football specials and the salads we had (the front porch and the nut) were delicious and filling. We also really like this place because they do trivia on Tuesday nights (we got 3rd place). But it fills up fast so get there early or make a reservation!

I had the salmon with rice and Brussels. It was good, very filling. They have a good selection of beer and ciders. Kid friendly. Staff was very polite and nice. My husband got wings and he was very stuffed and agreed it was good. The only thing I wish differently is a bigger selection for food.

I love the food here, but even on a slow night the service is slooooow. Great food though and still quite worth the wait!

Good local bar. Recently 're-done after just having been sold. Completely new atmosphere with a good seemingly adain twist on traditional bar food. Alcohol prices are a little more exoencive for what a local towns prices should be, but they do have a good selection of liquor as well as a small, but at least different selection of beers.

Didn't know this little gem existed. Great brunch - but I'll have to come back for their beers as they had a great selection. Atmosphere is top notch too.

The food was really good. She had a burger and truffle fries both of which were amazing. I had the double fried wings, 5 - their hottest sauce, 5 - Thai sweet chilli both were fantastic. The hot sauce was not very hot but very tasty. Their special drinks were really unique and very refreshing and tasty. The staff are local individuals that are very friendly and super helpful. Highly recommend going you will not be disappointed, we are definitely going back again!

Cool little spot with local brewery beers to pick from. This is a go to spot for sure.

Hands down best burgers around! Highly recommend the Galbi Burger, General Tso s Tacos or the Chicken and Waffles! Great service, friendly atmosphere!

All these years living in the area. Never knew this pace existed. Food is awesome. Employees are very friendly. The wings, OMG they are so good. You cannot go wrong

The food was to die for. The wings, Mac and cheese, the burgers were all amazing. The drinks were also great. Only downside was the service. They just weren't as attentive as I would have liked but I'd still go back cause the food was just that great. Oh and I made reservations cause it's a small place that gets packed.

Not sure what all the fuss is about - It's just a small local pub. Double fried wings tasted like...wings. If you like the smell of windex while you're eating then the guy cleaning tables will make your night. I went because I was curious, won't be going back.

Came here with 3 friends. Food and drinks were good. However our waitress... she was nice until the end. Sometimes I remember to ask for split checks, sometimes I don t. I m human. When we asked for split checks at the end (her name was either Nicole or Cristina, I can t remember now) she said, welllllllll it would ve been easier if you told me before. But I guess I can do it. Full on attitude. Then when she gave me the change since I paid in cash, she gave back $10 less. Good thing I always check my money.

I love the creativity of the food made there with the burgers and the IPA's. A quaint spot with tvs to watch sports. Great apps. The fried oreos and mint ice cream is awesome and the mac and cheese burger is great!

The wings are off the hook and the zesty sauce is awesome......
No more zesty sauce but the cajun dry rub is very good now too

Very disappointed. This place had great reviews and the menu had looked good online. Unfortunately, it took us almost 2 hours to get our food, and even then only half the tables food came out. The food was alright, but not worth the wait. The chef came out and apologized, but they only gave us $4 off a $120 tab. I would not recommend.

Staff was very friendly, server was great with my 3 year old. I watched the owner interact with other customers which was good to see. The wings by far are the best I've ever had!! They have a nice crispy outside with a moist inside many different flavors to try. They were very good the burgers were very juicy and flavorful. My daughter had Mac n cheese which was homemade and very cheesy she loved it. Overall great experience and we will be back

Make sure to make a reservation if you're going to trivia night. We've gone many times before with no reservation, but after taking an uber there we we're told it was full. Even called ahead to see if trivia was going on and was not told about the reservation. Food is good though.

Unique and delicious food, would reccomend to anybody, even picky eaters!

The wings are so good but all of the food is. I think since the new owner and chef Melissa took over about 2 years ago, it has transformed and is one of the best kept secrets in North jersey.

Great wings and food! Nice selection of craft beers but unfortunately horrible service and waiters...that s why I only give 2stars...didn t check on us....ate our whole meals with no drinks and no napkins I had to get up from my table and get my own napkins from the bar....said excuse me to the waiter 3 times to get his attention...he ignored me to talk to a table of what looked like maybe his friends....I suggest to the owner u get new staff

At the first moment you come to that restaurant the stuff gives you an enjoyable feeling. Very hospitable team, it is a friendly restaurant to enjoy with friends or with your date. yummy meals, creative chief cook and stuff, good pay and professional service. Highly recommended.

Went to the Front Porch for Tuesday night trivia, we just had apps and drinks, but the apps were really really good, best chicken wings around, we probably had about 20 of them, all good, shrimp tampoura was great, dumplings good as well, they could use a little bit more help behind the bar, you will be waiting for your drinks. Another bartender and you'll get 5 stars.

Great wings! Food here is made fresh to order so you may wait a bit for your meal but it's worth it.

Really good food, large beer and wine selection, and interesting specialty cocktails (I had one with sake and sparkling wine that was so good!). Nice looking place, very appealing.

I just recently moved to the area and found this great place while driving passed. The food is amazing here and I love the Asian influence mixed into all dishes. The chef truly does an amazing job with the dishes. The decor is very trendy and the staff is kind, attentive and quick even when the place is busy. I would give this place 100 stars if I could I highly recommend people try it.
