It's nice and quaint space. Feels refreshing. Food is also good. The only downside I see is it's cramped for parking space, especially 4 wheelers. Scrambled eggs with toast were the best items that I ate. Pastries also worth a try if you are a sweet tooth.

It's a struggle to find an AUTHENTIC coffee place. Someplace that doesn't serve your run of mill coffee and this is one of those places. Everything about this small nook is cozy and inviting. Try their Vietnamese Coffee and Belgian Dark Hot Chocolate for something special. Their tuna sandwiches are brilliant and their in store bakery is another experience with crazy breads, cookies and biscuits.
Even though the food is nice the worst service ever. Some of the waiters are unable to give them back to the kitchen. Our waiter wrote it down but forgot about it. After complaining some of our food got served after 45 minutes, one dish after more than one hour, because it got served to someone else. At least for that last dish, they did not charge. I would have not written any feedback, if it had not happened in the past. But after several incidents one has to mention. It s said because one can simply avoid if waiters are proper trained to work in a restaurant/cafe.
As soon as you get inside the cafe the first whiff will be of their bakery. The cafe is cozy, sophisticated and expenisve but the food is so good that you'll forget the third thing. I went there for the first time and absolutely loved the place and food. The chicken salad was super fresh with lovely dressing. The portion was pretty good too I also had Wild Mushroom Goulash and Raspberry Iced Tea which were good too. If you're in Pune do try their food & desserts as well!
I must say kudos to the entire team, this place is now one of my favourite breakfast stop Must say that even my fussy little one enjoyed the food .. keep up the great work ..
Lovely quaint place tucked in the lane next to Malaka Spice. The lane is difficult to walk but it's just 5 minutes walk. You can get parking in the lane but would suggest on the main 5th lane of Koregaon Park. Once you come in there is a lovely portico and garden, and tables laid out to make utmost use of the garden space. They do have an inside seating which has just 2 tables with their display of desserts. We sat in the garden and it was very pleasant. Had gone to meet a friend for coffee and was not disappointed. They had a good selection of teas and coffees and seeing the price, knew it would not be great. But ..it was good. Asked for a Macchiato and it was good but in a small cup. So ended up having another !! Had lemon tart, chocolate tart, cheese cake and would have gone on .... They also have sandwiches and salads. This is a dog friendly place so if you are comfortable with a dog bruishing against your leg, go and enjoy the place.
a very nice open garden cafe.quiet as it is in a lane next to malaca spice in lane 5 in koregaon park..parking is a problem as it is the last bungalow in the small lane..limited menu but good dishes.had pulled pork.tuna salad.potatoe&leak soup..very gd coffee and superb desserts...very gd value for money as all items reasonabley priced..
Very nice ambience and feel of nature. Quiet and calm very positive surroundings with few delicacy makes your day. Menu content is excellent... Salads are noir to be missed. Bakery is classic enlights your taste buds. Must visit place of you are in koregaon park. Good place to spend some time and enjoy food
Some cakes are delicious. Red velvet cake far too salty...yes, too salty for my taste.Couldn't eat it. But the gave my money back after I insisted. Coffee is okay.
Lovely little patisserie. Warm, welcoming and cosy. Yummy pastries. Friendly owner. We couldn't make up our minds about what to order because everything looked so good!
Nestled in a retrofit house, away from the din of the street, this little cafe has a lovely ambience with nice light music to break the quiet. The service was excellent- special mention for Rajeev on excellent hospitality and recommendations! The food options were great for breakfast/brunch though they could definitely improve on the taste and texture of the food. The bacon was too crispy and salty and the omlette, potatoes, grilled tomatoes and toast was just average. I did enjoy the Aztec hot chocolate though. Edit: I visited again in a week and the ham delight suggested by Rajeev was delightful. Also, they created a special chicken sausage infused cheese omlette on my friends request.
I really love this place. I have been ordering cakes since they had a small outlet. The desserts are really sinful. The food is also very nice and the menu is well thought about. Go there and have a lovely time.
This place used to be very good when it started however sadly after a lapse on visiting this place fund it has run down a lot. It used to be cleaner and better managed but now it has a shabby forgotten look and neglect . It is popular due to being located in KOREGAON PARK but if not for this I think it would not.
They have a good variety of cheese cakes and pastries. My personal favourite is the Jamaican Liquor pastry. But we were in for a disappointment when we ordered the red velvet cake. They prepared a fresh cake in about 10-15 min but in a jiffy the baker mixed too much salt in the cream. The cake was so salty that we couldn't eat it.
I understand their efforts to make the customer happy with their fast service but with that they should also be careful of their quality control
It's hygienic here :) plus, the food is of great quality.. N the desserts are unique and original. I would suggest you to start buying all your cakes from here, coz unlike other cakes, these are actually something you would want a second helping of.
This place is OMG...i mean not place wise but taste wise...it has got some amzing collection of pastries, with a wide range of taste....their pastries are moist, rich in flavor.... all varieties are worth trying...they are opening a comparatively bigger oulet besides Malaka Spice
I had gone today with my daughter and her friend and was thoroughly disappointed with the service and quality of food. We had just ordered one plate pancake and one plate bruschetta with a couple of cold coffees and hot chocolate. First of all we had to wait for 15 min for someone to come and take the order. Then they forgot bruschetta. After waiting for more than 30 min, when we asked they gave a lot of excuse and after another 15 min got the order. The bruschetta was cold, had no cheese and the tomato one was sweet. This is was the worst I have ever eaten. There was no one to refill the glass of water too.
The French Window Patisserie is a really beautiful and cozy place in the heart of Koregaon Park which serves great desserts (and food as well, but I still haven't had the opportunity to have food here).
So, I had come here last night after dinner to have desserts. The place was very nicely decorated and giving off Christmas vibes. The ambience was really welcoming, cozy and very pleasing to the eyes. The staff is really good here and makes sure that you get the best service.
We got ourselves a Decadence and a Christman Cupcake and they were both really good and yummy. The Decadence gives you the kind of chocolate overload you want a chocolatey looking dessert should give.
Can't wait to visit again to have more desserts and food.
Life is too short to say no to Chocolate Pastries. Recently I had this super delicious "Chocolate Decadence Pastry " with a glass of cold coffee in Pune at @thefrenchwindowpatisserie I loved every bite of it. It was worth trying . I am in love with this cute little place. This bakery serves pastries, cakes, brownies, and every other dessert, baked goodness and confectionery items that one can think of. It is located in Koregaon Park. I would love to visit here again . . Food - 5/5 Staff - 4/5 Ambience - 4.5 /5 Location- The French Window Patisserie
Fabulous breakfast and great coffee... the loaded croissants with eggs, ham/bacon and hollandaise are just too good!
The French window is our favourite place for breakfast. Friendly service, great selection of eggs, fresh breads, pancakes, etc. Lots of space to run around for our 5 year old. Eggs Benedict with croissants is our favourite dish for breakfast. They have a great menu for lunch and dinner too. The cakes and baked goodies are yum!
Such a nice quaint little hangout place. The food is great. They serve one of the best cappuccinos. Service, staff, ambience... everything is superb. Their breakfast menu is awesome.
Best cafe ever. Ambience is extremely soothing. The best thing about the place is the location and the greenary and not to forget the pastries and the cakes. They are simply yummm.so mouthwatering
A very nice place and good service. Desserts are way too good. And taste wise i would give 5 star to the french window A very nice place to go with family or friend for breakfast and supper. My experience was so good. A must visit place
5 stars to its rich ambience. It feels so soothing to be there. There are some books to read. Smoking is allowoed here. I liked wooden seating arrangement. Ample space for parking. The entrance to the cafe is not from the main road. They have Tiramasu and many pastries, cupcakes. Cheese rasberry cake was awesome. I loved death by chocolate. Macaroons were for Rs. 60 each. They were so tiny.
Liked the garden setting (apart from the stupid American pop music), but food was very oily, too salty, even the toast was panfried, the salad on the side consists of - three tiny bits of leaves... and they make a ketchup design on the plate... Like proper Fastfood... Just the prices are not like Fastfood... Making two poached eggs took them ages... Funny items you'd never see in France, like a croissant sandwich! With egg in the middle and ketchup on the side... Would be better to call it simply the window - but not French...
Lovely place with nice ambience of green plants and birds! Only thing that bothered me was the smoking but we could find a corner where the smoke did not bother us. Loved the peaceful couple of hours in the afternoon!
What a super little we came across. We tried two desserts a profiterole and a strawberry based one. Both were the fantastic. The host was very warm and helpful. The pour over coffee was really nice. And the atmosphere was just perfect. The pictures i took did not do justice.
