Lovely place with a great ambience. They offer great variety of pastries which are delicious, looked fluffy and were very yummy. The service was good but a bit slow. A must visit place for authentic French food and food lovers.

Get transported to a Goa-esque or Pondicherry environs in our own Pune. From the friendly staff - a very satisfying dinner experience awaits you. Now all the food we tried mini chicken quiche platter ,chicken pita pockets and pasta customised with chicken along with roast chicken l'orange were super delicious. Our evening had Raymond belt out his versions of popular songs which made the evening all the more memorable. Looking forward to go back to try the sandwichs. Probably sooner than later!
Horrible service! The waiter didn't pay any attention to the order, got us wrong dishes. He ruined our dinner and even after returning the food that my kids couldn't eat( I told him three timee nothing spicy on food, no pepper, no sauce but still the food came with black pepper and sauce) he billed the returned food. And upon asking why he has billed it, he shamelessly replied that you are almost half of it. And went back and billed the mashed potatoes as side dish which included the dish we returned. The whole experience was really awful!
Loved the fact first and foremost that they call themselves The French Window and actually had Millefuille :) The food was excellent too. And the best part was Hippie the dog with whom my dog had a lovely time playing throughout our visit! :)
Went there twice . Had grilled sandwiches named pesto chicken and pepper chicken. It's really amazing. Try Aztec if you like hot chocolate with cinnamon powdered beverage. Tuna sandwich is must try.
I was disappointed by the staff. I wasn't provided a proper chair nor were we offered to change tables once other tables were free. The food was delicious but I may not be visiting again.
Some sweetness in this hidden gem of a place. Crafty confectionery is housed here. Crafted with love. The manager is a very nice man and this was very wholesome in sweetness and weight. The creamy layers are very tasty. Amazing experience.
Well one of the most authentic confectionery stores I have ever been to. The taste and the presentation was literally finger lickin' good. The store representative was so informative in all their products that it will ease up to help you choose the right thing you are looking for. If in Pune, kind of a must visit place. The chocolate they serve has its own aura.
Orange tiramisu sounds so novel. However, only if you have alcohol, you can appreciate it. I couldn't take a single bite only due to its high alcohol contents. My husband loved it though. Red velvet cupcake was delicious! A tiny little cute place near great Punjab. Loved it!
Must try out while at Pune. However they serve excellent verities of cakes and pastries and to compliment it they have a very good outside seating place. Simply love this place for the pastries and coffees and ambiance.....while everything on their menu is of very good quality, in case you are visiting this very popular place at the KP in the evening look for an outdoor seat.
This is an awesome place, it's not on the main kp lane, it's somewhat on the inside but there is a board on the outside. The ambience is refreshing, we went for a breakfast on the Saturday morning and it was a serene place, you can take ur fav book with you and enjoy your food with it. We ordered for banana nutella pancake and pesto sandwich, both were really delicious and we loved it too much. Also we ordered for the oreo shake and we haven't tasted the orea shake like this before. Balance of sugar was perfect and we were able to taste oreo as well. All in all a perfect place to have food.
One important thing is that this is a pet friendly restaurant so we can take our pets for a ride as well. They also have their 2 adopted dogs there and they are lovely as well.
It's a beautiful place to chill. No alchohol. A bit pricey but it's a place worth going once. We had ordered Blueberry cheese Cake. The taste was good however the crust was not that of an authentic Blueberry cheese cake. Mac and cheese pasta was good. If you are a coffee lover go for The Jamaican. Lemon Ice tea was ok. For taste I would say 3. For presentation 3 and for service 4.
This place is perfect for any sort of company! Be it your old group of friends or that special someone! The food is delicious and the music collection is amazing! Everything adds up to a brilliant ambience!
Went there for after dinner coffee. Loved the walk up to the cafe through a kacha road. I am sure the shaded trees must look great by the day. Coffee was good and better than the kinds of Starbucks. Had a pastry, this is the way a pastry should be, great taste and not something that looks like a slice of cakes. It reminded me of olden days of Flurry's of Kolkata. But where were the French Windows not required in open air sitting perhaps.
Loved the atmosphere.. and salted caramel pastry was too yummy.. i personally find it little costlier.. 160rs for single pastry.. plus they dont even put price tag.. so for normal person its little costlier.. else all is nice abt it.. i enjoyed eating pastry here..
The place has great ambience with only outdoor seating. But people come here to smoke, and there is no escaping second hand smoking. It really ruins the atmosphere. I wish they would ask people go outside the cafe to smoke, like civilized 21st century places do.
Food is ok, beverages are a tad too sweet and the menu is rather limited. I didn't find the taste to match the price.
One star for the ambience and two for the two dogs that hang out here.
Whis is a very beautiful and cool place to hang out with. A quiet place. We ordered just coffee and few cakes. The red velvet cake was superb. The service is good. A must visit while in city.
Little bit hard to locate in evening since it's located off the main road. Ordered the molten hot chocolate, chocolate cheesecake, potato wedges and spinach mushroom and garlic sauce sandwich. Quantity of the hot chocolate was very disappointing considering it costs 201 Rs. Potato wedges were tasty and good quantity. Sandwich was ok ok. Cheesecake was good.Ambience, staff and overall service was good.
Far from the main road, Lane 5, is a quite place where you can have a nice coffe and a good breakfast. All accompanied by good music. There are also good choices for main courses, making it also a nice spot for dinner or lunch.
Absolutely loved the place. The place was full of people, despite Sunday morning. Loved the curtious staff & the food was tasty. Desserts were mouth watering. Also they have 2 adorable dogs who are very friendly.
Located off the road.. once you find it you will love it.. surrounded by lush greenary.. tranquil atmosphere.. food is delicious... Desserts are too good to miss.. pocket friendly.. overall comfy cozy..
It was hot outside, very actually. We wanted to grab something to gulp down and desserts mainly. This place had been in my to-visit place & hence we rounded up on it.
It's a quaint little joint. Very pretty to look at. White exteriors with the classic wooden seating space and brick wall interiors. It's got a whole section of baked delights. Graced with lamps, a beautiful calm setting.
We ordered a Mint Mojito, Lemon Ice Tea, Decadence and Reconfort- a speciality of this joint I was told. The pastries came first, followed by the drinks.
All the pastries were a delight. Smooth and fresh, subtle in taste.
-Reconfort It a combination of caramel mousse on top, vanilla insert, chocolate mousse at the bottom , with thick chocolate base & bottom biscuit layer. It was served cold and buttery smooth.
- Decadence Its a dark chocolate pastry. A well cut put pastry with bubbles of dark chocolate on top. Very creamy and layered. Delicious in taste, with the slight taste of dark chocolate and sweet enough at the same time.
- Basil Mojito & Lemon Ice Tea Cool and refreshing. Both the drinks complimented our pastries.
The owners are some very polite and friendly people. They were very informative and a delight to converse with.
First off, went in to buy Chocolate Croissants and came home to find plain Butter Croissants given, could be a product of miscommunication. So that's the first bit, but when I called to inform about it, I get a reply so arrogant "I know my job", from the owner/manger. No sir, you probably do not because if you did, you'd know that in a hospitality business you're not supposed to talk to the customer in the way you did, when I was maintaining my decorum with you all throughout and no, neither was I interested in getting any freebies if that's what you thought. Please go and read through the basics again, maybe you'll be surprised to find out that there's a way to talk to people. *Review about the Croissants -I've never tasted Croissants (Despite having gone around the globe and tasting variety of them) that are in such shambles, soggy and no hint of butter at all in them, the only good part was that they're bigger than a usual croissant. Not worth the buck I paid for them.*
Hidden in a lane, off lane 5 in koregaon park is a surprise treat for Parisian cafe lovers. Time stands still while you njoi the coffee and the treats on the menu. A must visit.
Lovely place if you like continental cuisine. Would not suggest it for people looking for Indian version of continental. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the food was not indianized. Nice seating with good fans for when it gets hot. Above all you can bring your dog with you to the hotel. The outdoor seating is protected from the sun and rain.
I was really looking forward to this place, having heard such good things about it, but I was very disappointed, mainly with the service, it is very slow... They really need to work on that, otherwise the food and ambiance is very pleasant and French like... Visit this place if you have ample amount of time to spare...
Absolutely terrible service. Ive been coming here for years and they never used to ask us to leave the table and make us drink our coffee in a hurry. If thats a new policy then why dont you mention it before we place the order. Not just me but I'll also make sure none of my friends ever visit this cafe again.
We had just had dinner in the area and were craving some nice dessert. We literally stumbled upon this place and I m so glad we did! The desserts here are delicious. The service is friendly as well. The ambience and decor is very cosy and cute. Highly recommended!
A vibrant place with good selection of food, freshly made. Staff is knowledgeable and a visit here is always a pleasure. Keep it up folks!! And yes the resident doggies are a joy to play with!
This cafe is hands down my most favourite place to visit. The ambience is amazing, the food is great, it smells amazing because of the bakery and they have the friendliest dogs. If you're big on brunch/breakfast foods, this is just the cafe for you. Been here repeatedly and don't see myself stopping any time soon :)
If one is looking for a cozy, inviting and satisfactory experience on a weekend, French Window, is the place to go to! It was a welcome change to experience such courteous service, with the owner himself paying personal attention to my choice of order and even offering to cook it to suit my tastebuds. The cappuccino was perfectly blended. The highlight, in my opinion, would be the amazing varieties of pastries that are on offer here. They are bound to leave you wanting for more and definitely are an incentive for me to return to this place. The ambience is very cozy too. My only suggestion, kindly incorporate a wider choice of breakfast options for the vegetarian clients. Other than that, way to go French Window!!!
Overrated cafe, simple ambience, coffee cappuccino was okay, heard their desserts are good but didn't feel like post the coffee. Ambience is basic too!
The Bald Guy Is Rude!! The worst experience ever in the recent times. It was 23:05 when me and my friend entered. We were just checking out the options and maybe we took only 45 seconds (if there's a camera the Baldie can verify), the Baldie at the reception (I've a long list of abusive words for him) had to say, " select what you want quickly as we're shut.." Probably he wasn't taught in his life that one should use the word "please" and has to be polite. First experience but a bitter one. Never ever going to the Baldie again. If you want to feel insulted, this is the right place.
