Attended large holiday party at this venue and I was an over night guest at the adjoining Hilton. The convention center was large enough to comfortably accommodate 2000 people and the Hilton was what you would expect from a nice hotel.

Great place to stay. Staff was friendly and the location was within walking distance of most of downtown. Free parking validation was also a nice benefit.
First, let me stat that overall this is a great hotel! The breakfast was wonderful. I was staying for a big convention I was attending next door. However, I recently had an experience that I could not ignore. I'm a defense lawyer and so I did a little research. During my last stay at this hotel I needed an early ride to the airport and just happened to be on the same shuttle as a few airline crews that were staying at this hotel. They just happened to be the same crew that flew me to Atlanta. I'm not sure if the van driver did not realize I was amongst the crew or what but I was absolutely shocked when the van driver on the way to the airport started complaining to the airline crew about never getting tipped. I could tell the situation in the van became very awkward and the crews just kept to themselves and stopped talking to the driver. The Lawyer in me wanted to say something but instead I held back and just observed the crew as we arrived at the airport. When we arrived the crew was more then cordial and even helped me get out of the van and the Captain grabbed my bags for me. (the driver did not). I noticed that out of the 3 crew members that only one left a tip for the driver. I also left a tip to the driver but now thinking back on it I should have given it to the Captain because he helped me out and was much more cordial then the driver was. However, with that said, the lawyer in me needed to go research it. It's funny because this appears to be a big discussion amongst many pilot groups, and there are many good discussions from both sides of the story but to make it short my research taught me that a contract between Airline and hotel includes the service of van drivers. So what does that mean? In the airline contract with the hotel they already pay for the services of a van driver and therefore does not require to crews to pay a tip. However like any other tip it's a peace offering and thank you for your help. Crew members are not required to tip but some do out of their own pockets to say thank you to the drivers. I can only imagine how much they tip a year to van drivers out of their own pockets for the amount of hotel stays they do yearly. So here you have it. I'm leaving this comment with one star because honestly what the driver did was very distasteful and I could not believe what I was hearing. Its possibly time for this older gentlemen to find new work, if he hates being a van driver so bad. Very bad etiquette!
over rated not worth the price although it is clean but food is good but not great and definitely not worth the price either should have picked a different hotel
The place is in the city centre/downtown and all restaurants/sightseeing places are quite close by.
What I liked about this place is the excellent service. Right from my call from the airport to pick me up to going the extra mile to drop me to office the staff and service were exemplary.
The room was quite spacious although I couldn't say the same about the bathroom - this could have been bigger than what it is. The bed was comfy. The room has quite a few storage options too. Everything is thoughtfully provided including shoe shine.
Breakfast had good options (I can't comment on the entire spread as I am a vegetarian - no meat/no eggs - and options were very limited).
Evening walk around the place should be good although I couldn't do it due to the bitter cold.
Overall I will recommend Hilton - could see quite a few families stay here - for a pleasant and comfortable stay.
I'be had the pleasure of staying at this hotel several times and although it's in a decent location you need an Uber or Lyft taxi into the downtown area for a better variety of restaurants for a sit-down dinner. However, the restaurant on site has a wonderful menu for breakfast and dinner. The breakfast is a large, plentiful and delicious including custom omelettes.
Dated hotel. Sheets may of been washed but the fact you all still put stained sheets in the room knowing Hilton s higher standards is beyond me. Won t stay here again on upcoming trips..
Beautiful hotel with a beautiful bar. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. There are awesome views of the city and the skywalk to and from the parking garage is pretty neat as well.
Starbucks and Lobby bar had great service and atmosphere. I wish the rest of the lobby was updated. Still nice, just a bit out dated. Usually stay here at least once a year but always enjoy my stay.
The stay was pleasant with no hitches at all. The cleanup and towel replacement service was timely and the rooms were nice for the buck. Besides the fact that only elevator was working at the time (maybe because of maintenance), it was a positive experience.
It is over priced the service is poor. We waited for over an hour for our dinner and had to leave hungry because our meeting time arrived. There is only paid parking. There is no restaurants, drug stores, shopping within walking distance. I paid BY prices but thus is no Time Square!!!! I will never come back.
Downtown Ft. Wayne with baseball stadium across the street. Parking is in garage and free if Hhonors Diamond member. They didn't charge us on two separate stays anyway. Avoid the greasy spoon restaurant west of the hotel called King Gyros, it is "not" good!
This is not my first stay at the Hilton Housekeeping at 830am Knocking on the door and coming in to see me standing in my skivvies as I reach for the door. I expect more from a Hilton. Check out is 12:00. I needed the 4 hours of sleep I did get . But is was not $187 worth of sleep I can tell you that. Very disappointed. i was offered a complementary breakfast. What a slap in the face. Get it together so no one else to lose sleep that was paid for! Stay was 2-21-2019 room 333
Room was clean, facilities were well maintained. They had signs up apologizing for the construction, but we only noticed anything in the lobby. The bed was OK, the pillows were a bit hard. Parking was $8 extra, as is common of downtown hotels. Location was great, walking distance to lots of fun nightlife.
The staff I interacted with were excellent. The room was nice and clean. As for the view it was great. I could see Parkview Field from the room. Which is where I went to a concert.
Rooms were nice. Experienced Tornado Warning via my cell phone, I went downstairs to lobby to get further information snd the desk clerk was CLUELESS! He was finally able to get some information but nothing more than I had received on my cellphone. He was also able to get more information on the path of the Tornado. It was north of us, so along with a couple of other guests I sat in the lounge until the danger had passed. I shudder to think what would happen if the Tornado was on top of us! The staff needs more training. The Starbucks closed at 11:00 am which was a little irritating. Finally because of third-party booking I got 0 points on my Hilton honors.
Motorcycle parking here is a nightmare and stuff tends to be incredibly bossy about where you can park your motorcycle as there is no motorcycle parking in the provided advertised parking garage ... Former occupants room service was left in the hallway upon our arrival... shower heads are outdated... Elevators are a pain in the butt to get as you have two different buttons that operate two different elevators wallpaper is peeling at the corners
For a Hilton, I was a bit disappointed. The bathroom was pretty small, the room could use some updates and the parking situation leaves a bit to be desired. It was entirely too cold to be walking across the street to the parking garage, which features an incredibly slow elevator.
Had a great time this past weekend at this hotel. This is our second year, returning for our annual basketball tournament there. Staff is friendly and helpful. The catwalk connecting to the parking garage is nice. The hotel was clean, room was spacious. The only downside was the hotel restaurant which had slow service and dirty plates. All in all I will return next year again for the tournament.
I didn't stay at the hotel over night but I was there for part of Ikasucon and it is a very nice and clean hotel and I very much like how it's in the middle of everything!
My friends got 2 different rooms and the tubs were filthy eeww and for as much as we pay i want bfast invluded you go anywhere cheaper you get bfast there
We only went to the Starbucks there, the atmosphere is good, the wi-fi- was not available or not on at the moment, you have to login to the Hilton Wi-Fi with a room number. Staff at the Starbucks were friendly and engaged in conversation
This was our first time eating at Features. The food was pretty good and reasonably priced. Our waitress forgot about a few things that I had asked for, other than that it was good.
I was in Fort Wayne for the annual Music Educators Professional Development conference. The Hilton has great staff and they were very helpful and professional throughout our time in Fort Wayne.
I was there for a work event in one of the ballrooms. Staff was attentive and nice. Facilities were well maintained. Didn't eat at the hotel restaurant though the Continental breakfast offerings were good. Clean, nice place. Can't comment on the rooms, though
Not enough room to complain on here please have corporate reach out to me. If you plan on staying here expect to catcg covid 19 they have done absolutely nothing to clean up.
Was pretty accommodating for most of the stay but there was a large influx of guests at the end of the week with teens that just ran wild. Several times waking me up by knocking on the door and running away.
My experience at this hotel is normally superb, but this trip required a change in rooms due to renovation. Worse than that was finding a pile of turds in the hallway when leaving my room. They did clean it up but not nearly fast enough for my taste.
Nice stay. Went for a dance competition. Easy access from hotel to convention center. Rooms were clean beds were comfy. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable
Room was nice. Bathroom area is a little small. Breakfast w/room is eggs, sausage, cereal and coffee. Hallway noise was a little bothersome at bedtime.
