Attended The Hu performance 9/11/19. Things were wonderful until "stage crashers" appeared just as the band started playing. Crashers were a "drunk" couple. Male spilled drink on others' feet as a way to get people to step back and allow couple to move in. They claimed they were trying to get closer to family. The situation became confrontational when they continued to force their way to the stage by grabbing shoulders and arms of people in front saying people should make room for them. There was a moment when hitting could have taken place but others began shouting at them to knock it off. When there wasn't enough room for them to do their dancing, they yelled at the people directly behind them to get their elbows our of their backs and to let them enjoy the performance. The female continually fell into others around her which distracted people from the performance, holding her phone in the air preventing others from seeing, and eventually fell on the floor. Several times during the performance, the male held up an upside down Canadian flag with "Colonialism" on it preventing people from seeing the band and yelling political Native American language. This behavior occurred through the entire performance, ruining the experience for those around the couple. Despite the obvious disruption in the crowd and flag waving that a business of this type should be able to handle, there was no sense of a business security and if there was security, it was not in control/aware of the situation. I wouldn't recommend this venue and I won't patronize the business again based on this experience.
