Visited Lake Louise 2nd time. I can't get enough of it. Didn't stay at Fairmont.
Food was OK, nothing really special but after climbing up to Agnes anything would suffice. Service was pretty good though.
Beautiful Chateau by the lake. Can eat there to get free parking, and visit lake Louise.
Beautiful location, just stopped in for a hot chocolate.
Super posh place that is worth having a cold one at. Food is a bit expensive but good, the view is outstanding. Staff were accomodating.
Fantastic stay. It is a Fairmont, so prices are much higher than your average hotel but the luxary and amazing view was worth it!
Beautiful scenery and if you like the outdoors there is still a lot you can do during these crazy times. Canoe or hike the lake and tea house, take a horse ride or just relax at the patio outside the Chateau. Unfortunately there are no shuttles running up the hill so parking in the upper lots on a weekend can be hit and miss. Better during the week.
Fantastic hotel. Would like to come back in the summer.
This place has absolutely the most spectacular view! It looks fake it's so breathtaking.
25/03/2019.
See you soon.
Old hotel but clean, good people working in it. Overall I felt well treated and comfortable.
As an Albertan I am somewhat embarrassed to admit this was my 1st stay at Chateau Lake Louise. It is impressive in every way. No matter the season the view is picture perfect. With this amazing backdrop the pressure is on for Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise to deliver. They do on every level. You start with the Chateau with it's history and design. Add to it the staff who are proud of their place of work, helpful and pleasant beyond words = you are bound to have great time.
Breakfast buffet, Afternoon Tea and dinner are guaranteed to be delicious so make sure you are planning to get outdoors and burn off some calories.
Beautiful view of the lake. Service could have been friendlier especially with the prices on the food.
We came to see the frozen Lake Louise and we were not disappointed. The hotel is grand, though the room design was a bit old fashion. Would love to come back again and next time it will be during summer!
Beautiful place. Everyone should go here once in their life.
Excellent views, and hotel. But the only problem was the crazy amounts of people. There are better places in the area that are just as impressive without the loads of tourist, but of course I am not going to say where. I figure this might by me a couple more years.
You can find it with a bit of research though
Mother nature created such wonderful place we can enjoy year round!
Beautiful hotel. Only walked around so did not stay there this time We did stay there on our honeymoon 43 years ago! That time was great but oh so long ago!
Absolutely amazing staff, the food is amazing at all their restaurants, it's convenient to get to the hill, the view is amazing, and the building is beautiful and incredibly well kept. Can't recommend it more.
Great views, good food; but being the Fairmont, it is pricy.
Front desk staff could use a brush up on customer service. Our first introduction to the property wasn't great with the woman helping us being quite rude and clearly being annoyed she had to check us into the hotel which is odd since it's her job. But, the property is wonderful, the babysitter service is phenomenal, food and beverage service top notch. So if you can get past the grumpiness at the front desk, you'll have a wonderful visit.
They're just as always georgeous on winter, summer all season long! Mother nature gives you what she really has! Lake Louise is one of those! And also not forget the hotel!
Set by a beautiful lake, the rooms here are a bit expensive though
Beautiful place to visit. Should be on everyone's bucket list!
Paradise on earth. One of my most favourite restaurant in Lake louise and nearby. Exclusovely the wonderful view of Lake Louise right at the hotel door. Beautiful surroundings with hotel's charms. Full of activities to join from nature lover to indoor activity. Many restaurants there. The best scenery breakfast room with more choices of food. Very helpful and warm staffs. Nice room with signature Le labo rose amenties, together with very comfy mattress. All you can think of Fairmont moment and experiences. Shops inside the hotel is quite varieties. Impressive stay and will be back again for sure.
Only asked around the foyer, but it has a very beautiful interior
Had dinner and drinks. Pasta was good. Sit outside if you can. The view is amazing.
Fabulous area to visit. A must to see Lake Louise.
The dining and sleep room was exquisite, very expensive but you get what you pay for, movie stars stay in places like this. A beautiful view of lake liouse and seeing the mist rise from it in the morning is a experience of a life time. It is also very close to trails and you can see all the beautiful nature around banff if you're willing to hike. 5/5
what can I say, best lake louise view here in the room
One of a kind place to experience Lunch or Dinner... Best outdoor location and the view of the Lake Louise..
They don't care about handicapped guests - rude attendant at driveway wouldn't let me drive my car to front door to pick up a handicapped guest as there's "no pick up or drop off"
Beautiful views and fancy coffee cocktails. It's a Fairmont so don't forget your wallet.
Absolutely stunning place to stay. Great restaurants and service. Most certainly going back
What a magical place. The huge windows, amazing food and beautiful trails around the lake did not disappoint. Hope to get back there again someday.
Top 3 most beautiful place in Canada. Its a must if youre visiting Alberta
This is an historic hotel located along the route of the Canadian-Pacific Railroad. It is a large complex with excellent restaurants and shops, overlooking Lake Louise. The rooms are beautifully renovated.
Not really worth it for the price, but the views of Lake Louise are spectacular, they do have a great selection of beer down in the Alpine Social (plus a sweet giant scrabble board mounted to the wall, and a photo booth!) and the rooms are cozy.
Awe-inspiring beauty of nature, professional and accommodating staff in the hotel... highly recommended place to stay.
The food in the cafe was not what it should have been
Breakfast was good
The hotel is beautiful and the views stunning
Staff was great
First off, the location of the hotel is amazing and the view is just breathtaking! We had booked their Romance Package which included a few goodies, including Lake View. We were a bit disappointed to have gotten a room in their Painter Wing. Not sure how the room allocations work, but to be honest, they should clearly say, Barrot Wing has the best view. We just assumed we'll be in that wing. I've attached a room view from our room, 309.. After paying $800 per night, you'd expect some unobstructed view! Maybe I am just being too specific, but as a guest, I was expecting a much better view than this! Taking away 1 star just for this. Service has been great so far and the staff is really friendly and warm.
This hotel is absolutely beautiful!!! I am so sad we did not stay there but we did walk through. The view of the lake is stunning. We did not check but we were certain that this hotel is well out of our price range. We did encounter some hotel staff who were very polite and helpful. We are planning on saving up to stay at this hotel in the future. The trail around the lake up to the tea house and the 6 Glaciers Lookout is an absolute must!!!
We had lunch here. The view was so stunning. The hotel was beautiful. But we had a bad experience at having lunch. The foods looked good but tasted not so good. And the service was really bad.
A truly world-class hotel. The staff are exceptionally warm and well-informed. The Fairmont Gold accommodations are wonderful.
Given the large number of people staying and visiting, the facilities do not seem overcrowded and so are very pleasant.
When we save enough money to finance the trip, we will enthusiastically return.
Oh yes! we are back again. Last time we are here 2009. Took my family here after Disneyland trip.
Today our two boys planned this trip for a Thanksgiving getaway... Nice to be back again.
As always excellent hotel and staff...
The location and service were wonderful but obviously during May long weekend it was very crowded and took away from the scenery. Still wonderful experience however.
Take to trails to the back of the lake for some interesting rock climbing areas!
Beautiful location as the hotel and main restaurant faces the lake. Visited in beginning of July for the day. Staff seems extremely friendly and eager to help. Would love to book a stay for next visit!
The lake was beautiful, best view I've ever had out of a hotel window. We had a great time here, very fancy
Regal establishment with stunning views. Good selection of stores and cafes. Very ornate and we'll decorate lobby. Tons of tourists! 5/5 on the bathrooms.
We visited the Fairmont at Lake Louise for a day. We went skating on the frozen lake. The facility is beautiful with multiple restaurants and a picturesque back drop. The rental staff is miserable. Multiple individuals we interacted with were just miserable unfriendly people. The shop was very busy and they were likely tired, but that is no excuse for a poor attitude.
Absolutely fantastic time there, if you come in early October more things are open to do. If you come in the last 2 weeks of October alot ot the surrounding attractions start closing for the season due to snow conditions.
Amazing place to visit once in a lifetime experience !!!
Had a great lunch here with the travel group. They served so well. Really enjoyed the time. The cheese cake was very nice, not over sweet, which made me like it. And the toppings on the cake were nuts and almonds, tasting delicious.
A remarkable hotel with a spectacular view surrounded by perfect natural splendor.
If you don t enjoy yourself here you re forced to wrestle a grizzly bear...by law
Came to Alberta for vacation and did high tea at the Fairmont Chateau. For starters, the view surrounding the Fairmont is breathtaking. It is right in front of Lake Louise and I was in awe of the entire scenery the whole time. The chateau itself is very classy and the ambiance is very regal. Every staff member we encountered whether it was the person guiding us to park, the host seating us or the employees at the store were very pleasant, kind and friendly. The high tea area is nicely set up with large windows showing you the view of lake louise. The menu items are tasty and they cater to vegetarians. At the end of high tea they have a dessert buffet which was filled with tiny pastries, macarons and much more. Loved every second of it. One thing with booking reservations, is it is easy to get confused as there are two different fairmonts that both do high tea. Highly recommend checking this place out. A beautiful sight to see and the high tea experience was unforgettable.
We had such a good time there! A lunch with the view ever. We had a cold cut platter with white wine at the terrace in the Lakeview Lounge.
Still beautiful place but we couldn't go into the hotel because of Covid-19.
Good for skating especially
i did not have a long stay, but ordered a couple drinks. the hotel staff at the cafe were friendly and professional. the hotel is always kept clean, which is pleasant.
Stopped by to hike around the lake. Hotel looks nice, but not sure i would choose to stay there
Great service but pricey. Great views and friendly staff
Ordered vegetarian items. Someone errored and gave non veg. Eggplant dish was very hard & chewy. Took for ever to get our orders. DO NOT GO THERE!
Disappointed I didn't get to see any of the hotel. I wasnt staying there. Still a beautiful setting.
Tasty drinks and snacks. Views were amazing. Staff was friendly. A little pricey.
Food was great, rooms were nice and included bonus bathrobes
