Amanda's introduction was enterprising, Matt's as a intermediary was helpful as well, but @ check-out Dana as a closer filled N all the blanks & pointed out the highlights & benefits of the Essence Suites membership community. It could have been better maintained. The room we had was not up to par with other reviews of the essence suites

Meh. Tub and steam/shower were both decent, but the room was extremely outdated. Everything just looked old and tattered. The mirror above the bed needs to be replaced, super disappointing. I would have given this place 3 stars if the bed was comfortable and the sheets and blankets didn't feel like sandpaper. It has potential, but missed the mark for my husband and I. At minimum, update the bedding.

I just left essence suites with my cousin for couples night you have to come have a good TIME

Worst place to spend anynight let alone an anniversary night.spend to much money to not have what the room needs. No Hot water for shower or hottub. All cold water and there's nothing they will do for you. They come check and tell you they'll be back and everyone you talk to act like it's not happening.Piss poor!!

Dirty, missing the stereo in the room because it was supposedly out for repair, dirty wash cloths were left behind in the bathroom shower, glass rings left around he whirlpool edge from the last guest, black stuff floating in the whirlpool itself, the foot of the bed was all ripped up & you smell weed from the time you walk by the first room! Very disappointing!

Went for our honeymoon. Room was nice but not exactly what we expected.

If you are looking for somewhere clean, cozy, and romantic, DO NOT stay here. My husband and I booked looking for a nice quick getaway and were totally disappointed. There were long black hairs on the bed, mattress felt like a box spring, ants in the room, and a filthy refrigerator. Waste of money.

I never stayed here but I wanted to. After reading the reviews I thought I would call just to get a feel of the place and see how were the phone etiquette because I seen ppl say that they are ghetto and low and behold I called and the girl who answered sounded like she had an attitude. I proceeded to ask what did my room include because my husband wanted me to make sure that we got everthing that was supposed to come with the room. The girl then ask have I been here nefor I said no and she told me everthing that came in the room rushingly. I asked her were thw robes and slippers going to be in the room ( because I read a review and the lady said thwy weren't and they had to go to the front to get them and ahe still didnt receive them) she said yes all this will be in the room with an attitude so I told her never mind. I seen the reviews and I don't even want to chance our get away with them based off her attitude over the phone

Amazing spot for romantic get away with your significant other! Great location in the center of really good food. I cant wait to come back

Bugs, no hot water the place is a joke the hot tub was nasty hair in the tub

The room was clean I have rose petals and balloons they were already there set up in the room before we got there I stayed there for two nights me and my wife enjoyed ourselves so so much the staff was very very respectful the essence room with the loveseat went beyond we are definitely going to go again expectations

I love it every time that is why I am a repeat guest

This place needs to be closed down and completely remodeled. My wife booked our one night stay and we did not even stay. I should have taken more pictures but in our first room. Room 114. We didnt have a room key. We were told if we left just come to the front office and maintenance would come open our door. And then I filled up the hot tub. Turned it on and whatever these things are came flying out. After telling staff. No apology, no care to what that is, just moved to another room. Which was smaller than the one we paid. In room 130. My wife and I bought disinfectant wipes and sprays to wipe down the whole room. Even after that. We only stayed a couple hours cause we would rather sleep in our own bed and then we checked out at 11pm instead of the next day at 11am. Couldnt even imagine staying another 12 hours. Avoid this place until they completely remodel it.

I had a wonderful time with my wife. Place was clean have no complaints. Just a little outdated.

Me and my boyfriend had just stayed at your hotel Saturday the 12th to celebrate his birthday. We arrived and had to wait in the room for almost 3 hours for "maintenance" to come make a key...3 hours wasted of our time. We couldn't leave or take advantage of our room because we were told they'd be there in 20 minutes or so, so we had no idea when they'd be there. She was physically in our room using screwdrivers, power screwdriver, pliers and such to make this key. Not really what I had in mind for paying $300+ for a room. Also the bed was incredibly uncomfortable, actually was uneven and sagged to the right which is also why we checked out early because we were both in so much pain, not to mention the multiple black curly hairs under the covers on the sheets. The smell of Marijuana was almost unbearable when we got there and then I woke up in the middle of the night as well. We didn't get to go to dinner until almost 830 because of waiting for the key, which pretty much ruined the night. I spent $300+ for this to give my boyfriend the relaxing night we both deserved and still never got it

Great service and communication when there has been a mistake. The room was clean and set up the way I wanted. Great place to relax and have a good night with your partner

I hated it. My wife and I wanted to spend christmas there. Ant's were in her slipper's and our bed. The staff refused to give us a refund or the number to corporate. We checked in at 4pm and checked out by 6pm the very same day. I still don't understand how you get ants in the middle of winter. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Took my wife there for our anniversary. We had the middle priced suite. The pics look look better than the one we had. The place looked like it has not had tlc in a while. My wife wrote a long list of suggestions the we did torn in to the front desk. BTW. To use the facilities you have to but a one year membership. I will not go back. Not worth the money

It was horrible I ran water for the jacuzzi I got in the jacuzzi and I'm sitting there with the red lights they have in the room it's kinda dark so I'm sitting there relaxed with my eyes closed then I cut the Jets on still relaxing enjoying myself I open my eyes seeing s*** flying around in the jacuzzi so I hopped out and told my husband and we took pictures and we looked up close and it had deadbugs hair dirt debris it was utterly disgusting never will I go there again

The rooms were horrible. I have a thing for bathrooms and kitchens. The rooms need updated immediately. We had bugs in our room. I gave it 4 stars because the manager was so empathetic. They also have wonderful customer service. If only their rooms could be displayed like customer service then the place would be astonishing.

Had a good time here. Use to come here back in 2010-2012, their surround sound in the rooms was better when it came to music. Dont like the bluetooth soundbar that they have now. Its cheap.

Wonderful place will be going back. Just wish I could have a way to request the room in the photo. I really would love the fireplace on the wall of the jucuzz in the essence suite if possible.

Awesome place. Had a fun mommy and daddy night. Its very secluded and besides having to keep your music low we had no problems papa joes being next store was a plus.

My stay was ok on Saturday but the rooms need to be cleaned better cause there was hair all over the place but went to enjoy my self but had let Yous no that the owner should get on that cause for the money we paid not worth it then ask housekeeping for house slippers and she said owner hasn t order any really could get me a pair from another room come that s some bs..... but I thank my boyfriend for everything he did, that s why I didn t say anything.

Needs to be updated....headboard leather ripped; rose pedals still on floor from previous couple...no usb chargers for current devices.....room could have been cleaner overall especially for the amount I paid $$$$

It was crabs in the bed and the shower stank and the hot tub was dirty. I told them about the human crab we found . i called them back after i left today. When they were supposed to call me back after i left early due to the crab we found. But they never call me back. And today i called to see what are they gonna do about my first experience to them. Nothing happen. Never

The worst place ever!!!! I don't even know where to start!!!! This was me and my husband first wedding anniversary! We checked in 08/28/2020 When we arrived we checked in and I gave the young lady at the desk the print out of the email for the free rose petals and chocolates, she gave me the bag of rose petals in my hand, I'm thinking you all she be laying these petals out fo me , so we got to our room and it was terrible the room smelled like smoke, it was outdated and the bed felt like a box spring, so I called the front desk and let them know that I can not be in a smoking room, so they moved me to another room and it was a little better. So I went to fill up the jacuzzi and there wasn't a stopper, once again I called the front desk to let them know and she brought me a stopper, so the next day me and my husband went out for something to eat and we come back to our room smelling like weed, now at this point I'm over it and I called the front desk to let them know the room smelled like weed, she tells me its because I'm in between two smoking rooms, really like who does that!!! Also it was nets in the room and ants! I spoke with the general manager about my situation and he didn't not want to at least accommodate me with at least half of my money back! That was the worst experience I have ever had and it was our first wedding anniversary!!! The fact is that we rarely ever get to get some us time due to our baby who has a disability and having my mom to watch him for a couple days was just so sad to know when finally able to get us some time and when ended up unhappy with the place we thought was going to be nice, so we really tried to make the best of our weekend! But he didn't feel the need to accommodate his customers! Never again! Please don't waste your money or time! For the money they are charging it is ridiculous!!! Stay away from this place!!

Very nice. Over slept the staff was very complimentary for this didn't charge too much We stayed an extra 3hrs.

I am curently at the essence suite love seat suite for my 4th anniversary ive been checked in since 6:30
And i Paid some one else to decorate and drop me n my mate off, but the fire place doesn't work and neither does the hot water in the jacuzzi or either of the 2 sinks and when i called the front desk i was told. i could check out after paying almost 300 bucks for a suite in advance going to papa johns restaurant not hungry but eating giving them time to fix the issue its currently 10:42 and i still have no hot water with no hopes of a fire place or a alternative giving all hotels are booked. I just saw another couple leave and another couple taking a walk because of no hot water i have been to the sybaris the aura , axis n ambiance hell even the cindy lynn in cicero is more accomadating......so upset never again im very upset will never come back or reccomend

Checked into room saw 3 different bugs 1 minute of looking around to check room out. I went straight to office to ask for refund and told them why they said ok and sent me a confirmation email. My payment still has not been returned and when tried calling they left me on hold and after that they just stopped answering the phone. This place is just a motel 6 with a hot tub don't waste your money goto the Champage Lodge it's much more classy.

One of the Best hotel experiences I have had. The staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. I love the room we had and the drive from up north was not long but long enough to feel like we got away. If we ever need a night away we now have a second home.

Was recently there and it was a nice place. Room was cozy and the room next to me was playing music but it wasn't to loud to be consider disturbing. And it seem like they were renovating the place so I know they are keeping it up to code. Room was very clean. May use again sometime.

Get place to getaway. We will be coming back soon. Our anniversary was perfect. The Super Essence Suit it really worth it.

HAVEN'T BEEN THERE FOR SOME TIME..FIRST EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT BUT THAT WAS OVER 8+ YEARS AGO.SO I DECIDED TO TRY IT OUT ABOUT 2 WEEKS AGO.. IT'S WAS AWFUL..I TRIED 3 DIFFERENT ROOMS.THEY WERE DIRTY, STAINED.. BED UPHOLSTERY WAS TORN ETC.. I DID NOT STAY AND I STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED MY REFUND THAT I WAS TOLD TAKES 5-7 DAYS!!!!!!

THIS is the WORSE hotel I have ever stayed at. Do NOT waste your money here! The supervisor is really rude and was extremely disrespectful to my wife. Never again.

Decent place to stay! The staff was nice and took care of our needs. The pool was great for our kids, we enjoyed our stay.
