Worst hotel experience I ve ever had. I don t know...

Worst hotel experience I ve ever had. I don t know where to begin. Let s start with how our AC didn t work in the room and when we would call to have them look at it they would say they fixed it. Never fixed it. Just said that to get us out of their hair. And then for the four nights we stayed there we didn t have any hot water. So that s cold showers every night. Also keep in mind the room comes with this beautiful bathtub. Unless you want a cold bath you can t use it. Same thing they would tell us they fixed it and nothing was fixed. Also I had to beg them for a discount after all this (which is so not in my character) they offered us a meal card. And then to top it all off, there was a charge to our room for 70 dollars that wasn t even us. Another guest must of charged something to our room. Okay so it s been over a month since we stayed there and my husbands bank account just had a charge from this hotel for THIRTY DOLLARS. We live in Texas. Why is this hotel charging us 30 dollars 7 weeks later? We call to discuss the issue and no one answered. So clearly some staff member is stealing money from the cards on file. Don t stay here it s an actual nightmare. So disappointed this hotel ruined my vacation.

Loved this hotel! The view of our room was incredible, food prices were a bit expensive for the amount they serve (I got 3 plates of tacos and some fries) it was like $100. But the taste was great! The rooms are very clean, front desk service amazing, door guys were great and the Valet parking guys were great also!

My wife arrived on business 2 days before I did. When she got there the valet did not open her door and nobody offered to help her with her bags. After she asked for help someone did come and load her bags and take her to the front desk. They then proceeded to leave the bags on the cart expecting her to take them the rest of the way. She had to ask for service once again. The valet is rude, our doors were never opened and they were extremely slow. The doorman actually never opened the front door for us. The concierge never responded after I requested to have flowers sent up to my wife for her arrival. She did offer to comp a bottle of Champaign but that never showed. The bed is extremely uncomfortable. They do have a restaurant that they promote but you cannot eat there without reservations, which we couldn't get. If you have the "water view", prepare to hear everything happening at the restaurant below you until around 1am every night. the only good thing was getting late checkout without extra fees. I expect better from a Kimpton hotel.

Spacious rooms with a huge bathroom that has a separate shower. Very kind employees, who want to help. Parking only by valet, with a price of $ 39 USD. Many people have confidence in parking Ferrari, Rolls Royce, Bentley, etc ... I could not give 5 stars because my wife had to wait almost 5 minutes with anyone to assist her with picking up the bell desk's bags.

I will not blame this hotel!! They are a four star hotel. When I made my reservation thru price line they lied and sold me a 5 star hotel
This hotel is 4 star not a 5 star !!!
So far this hotel service is what is expected out of the 4 star. Thanks

We stayed here for a night and we were so impressed with level of service from every employee in the hotel. We were checked in early, the room was beautiful, the beds comfortable, the shower was amazing. I wish we could have stayed longer. Breakfast is a little pricey but so delicious! The only downfall, we thought, was the service at Zuma which is the restaurant off the lobby. The host was rude but you can walk to other restaurants from this hotel instead. We recommend staying here but for dinner, head somewhere else. Great hotel!

I absolutely enjoyed the view of the Bay and the City from my room on the 25th floor. Also liked the setup of the lighting in the room and the content of the mini bar. I appreciated the 'Honey it's cold outside' karma reward. The sheets were clean and cozy. Loved the rain shower. The bartender on the 16th floor was friendly and welcoming. The food was good. Other hotel staff were also friendly.
Shops and mall are in walking distance. Points that could use a little more attention:The tub required an extra scrub before I could soak in it. Towels could also use another fabric softener with a nicer smell. Three nights is absolutely a too short stay at this grand 4 star Hotel.

Beautiful setting especially if you have an ocean view room. But the rooms are showing there age some wall paper is starting to peal things like that. I would recommend this hotel just know that it's not going to be perfect.

Best value in town. Service is smooth and seamless. Rooms are modern, clean and spacious. Dining and activity recommendations by Robert, the de facto concierge were spot on. Pro tips: save the $50/day mandatory valet parking by parking in one of the $10/day parking lots across the street. Request the complimentary nespresso machine, bath salts and robes for the room.

The staffs were very accommodating, nice, and professional. They served customers well and right. Besides, the ambiance, rooms, and pools were quite lovely and a place that was refreshing to stay with. Honestly, for my one week staycation here, I felt completely happy and joyous. Thank you so much! Till next time!

Epic has a great location in Miami and has a very cool vibe. I had a room over looking the Port of Miami as well as Biscayne Blvd. The lobby is very cool and the wine tasting at night is a nice touch. The room was a good size although be careful as the noise from the bar on a Friday drifts up and can be noisy even 10 floors above. The 16th floor bar had a bit of a cheap feel to it and I wouldn't consider it a scene place but there were quite a few people when I was there. One a Friday morning at 7:00 trying to have a cab hailed was impossible as there was no doorman valet front desk person to be found.

Spectacular hotel and a very good location. It has a
Marina to be able to embark and disembark next to the facilities. It has good valet parking service and the guys on the entrance ramp are polite people and they understand when you leave the car 5 minutes to deliver anything to a guest. The pool area is nice and has a great view of the bay. The rooms are cvs meals and the room service is very good. In general the hotel is very good. 100 percent recommended

Great Hotel!!!! Left the beacon south beach and came here and they was great!!!! Loved it EPIC is definitely my home when I come to Miami. Those awesome views. Only thing I could say is be ready for the incidental hold but you get that back after you check out. WILL RECOMMEND FOR ANYONE. THE ROOMS ARE SO BIG AND THE LAYOUT OF THE ROOM IS GREAT. They treat you like a priority and the service is awesome my first and won't be my last experience. I hope I get the same treatment when I return.

The room was nice. However, there are several points for improvement: 1) took them 10 mins to use my credit card without the PIN (never had a problem anywhere else). 2) they never sent me an invoice, even after calling several times and writing messages through their site -their phone system is hopeless as they pass you through many people without solving your issue. 3) i forgot a jacket in a meeting room and when i asked for it the day after, it had "disappeared".

Location: convenient and close to multiple dining options.

Rooms: The rooms were probably really nice sometime ago but they feel rundown these days with lots of signs of wear and tear throughout. Mine had a musty/stuffy smell that wouldn t go away. I reported it as soon as I got to the room and the front desk offered to spray it, which resulted in a lovely combination of musty + febreze. The iron in the room wasn t working either. Black particles sprayed from the steam nozzles when I tried to iron a shirt. I reported it to the front desk and they offered to credit my account.

Service: The staff was very friendly and did their best to resolve the issues with the aging and not properly maintained rooms.

Food: I only experience room service breakfast and the food was fine. Menu had variety and the dishes were well executed.

Common Areas: the pool area feels like it s lacking maintenance and showing signs of wear and tear, just like the room. The area is desperately asking for a makeover.

Tried to slip a $32.70 minibar charge through on my credit card. I called to see what the charge was for and they suggested maybe I had eaten beef jerky and had an alcoholic beverage, perhaps a bottle of wine. Classy.

Maybe housekeeping enjoyed these items, but I did not.

Incidentally I left a $20 tip for the 2 night stay - perhaps the housekeeping personal figured I had $ to burn and wouldn't notice the charge on my credit card. In fact - I was running late to my uber - and noticed I only had $20 bills in my wallet- had to leave something so left a $20. Did something nice and the staff at the Epic took advantage.

Housekeeping - strike #1
Customer service - strike #2

The hotel was beautiful, as was the room. Not impressed with the staff.

If management is reading this - if I had to nitpick on the room - you need to invest in a quieter minibar fridge.

Worst Club Level experience ever.

Worst Club Level experience ever.
They were rude and unprofessional.
The service was pretty much non existent.
They cut back significantly on food presentations and other amenities.
If you desire a real professional club level experience, stay at the Ritz Carlton.
